We are looking for a senior regulatory affairs specialist to join our Science & Regulatory Affairs team, with experience in regulatory toxicology in the chemicals and/or consumer products sector. A clear desire to end testing on animals is essential.
You will work within the Science & Regulatory Affairs team to deliver the organisation’s objectives relating to the ending of testing on animals, with a focus on regulatory testing in the chemical and consumer product sectors. Your role will mostly address regulatory testing on animals in Europe, some activities will also be relevant to the UK, and some will be internationally relevant.
Working alongside colleagues in the Science & Regulatory Affairs team and Public Affairs team, and also in collaboration with other partner organisations and stakeholders, your efforts will increase awareness and use of non-animal methods and promote a full transition away from testing on animals.
Willing to travel internationally as well as attending virtual sessions, you will represent the organisation at regulatory bodies and in other arenas. You will proactively promote the organisation’s position on animal testing with regulators and other stakeholders.
Through the production of high-quality scientific material and support to the organisation, your contribution will significantly help advance the agenda of ending all experiments using animals.
Salary: £34,596, Grade 4
Location: Leeds Beckett Students’ Union, Portland Way, Leeds. Once in post, there may be an opportunity for hybrid working.

The Financial Services Manager is a key strategic role within the organization and will be part of the Senior Leadership Team. The post holder will attend and be answerable to the Board of Trustees in the areas of finance, compliance and risk and undertake the position of GDPR lead on behalf of the organization working within the wider Senior Leadership Team that includes a Business Development Manager, Training and Development Manager and Operations Manager.

The post holder will also be responsible for the management of Family Gateways assets, IT and quality assurance systems and will ensure Family Gateway is complaint in all areas of risk, governance and business.

We're now looking for a Governance Administrator to join our team! You'll provide essential administrative support to our Governance Manager, board of Trustees and Executive Leadership Team.
Your responsibilities will include co-ordinating essential administrative tasks: preparation, collation and distribution of agendas, meeting information packs, minutes and reports and managing actions following board and committee meetings. You will also provide diary management support to the Board of Trustees. Additionally, you will assist in organising key events such as the Annual General Meeting and trustee elections.
You will support the Governance Manager in maintaining our Companies House and Charity Commission records, as well as overseeing the Board of Trustees internal communications.
In addition to supporting the Governance Manager in delivering on the Association's governance functions, you'll be a valued member of the wider CEO Office Team.

What are we looking for?
We need a skilled administrator who can effectively support our Board and CEO team.
As a proactive and confident individual, you'll excel in managing multiple and competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality. Your strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office applications, will be essential for this role.
Effective communication is key. You'll be liaising with senior stakeholders and external contacts through email, phone, Microsoft Teams, virtual and face-to-face meetings and events. Strong written communication skills are particularly important as this role will involve minuting meetings.
Flexibility is also crucial, as occasional out-of-office hours and travel to external venues, may be required.
