We're looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Operations Lead who will ensure the smooth running of CCX day-to-day operations. As lead of the Operations Team, you will oversee the finance, HR, coordination of data, IT applications and integration, and corporate governance functions.

The Gregory Centre for Church Multiplication (CCX) helps the Church make disciples in new and renewed ways. We work with willing partners across the Church to catalyse multiplication, equipping leaders through adaptive learning pathways.

CCX’s organisational structure is a hybrid management model, blending elements of both functional and project-based structures. Project teams are formed to address specific initiatives, tasks, or delivery projects. These teams are cross-functional, comprising individuals from different specialties, typically with a project manager working under the direction of a CCX lead. The two core teams of Operations and Media operate as shared services across the organisation.

Under the direction of the Bishop of Islington, a suffragan bishop of the London Diocese, CCX supports church planting and church growth work in London, nationally and beyond.

Collaboration and partnership will be key features of this role, working closely with the Bishop, Chief of Staff, and Team Leads. This role has a strong focus on agile and efficient systems development and improvement, resource optimisation and stakeholder engagement.

They are expected to perform duties with a high degree of independence, initiative, and judgement, including knowing when to resolve issues and challenges directly and when to escalate.

Key Duties and Accountabilities include:

● Ensure the deliverables of the CCX Operations Team are met in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.

● Establish and maintain agile operational structures and systems necessary for CCX's missions, including but not limited to finance, people management, procurement, IT and data management, business applications, corporate governance, and facilities management.

● Manage and supervise staff or contractors within the operations team to ensure effective performance, including roles such as Business Applications Manager, Finance and Office Manager, Data and HR Coordinator.

● Develop, implement, and maintain corporate policies, strategies, and procedures pertaining to finance, human resources, IT, data management, safeguarding, and governance.

● Ensure the capacity and capability to provide support services to CCX team and stakeholders, such as dioceses, church leaders, church planters, TEIs, and Together partners, by recruiting and retaining skilled personnel and providing necessary resources.

This is a full-time role (1 FTE)

£29,959.80 (£49,933 FTE) per annum

We have a great opportunity for an efficient and organised individual to join our Governance Team, providing maternity leave cover. 

Working closely with two other Governance Officers, you will provide support and guidance to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Council and its Committees. The three Governance Officers are responsible for the day-to-day operation of Council and Committee work, as well as the running and administration of key CSP events. This includes arranging meetings, maintaining accurate records/policies, overseeing elections and appointments. The team also organises the annual representative conference and general meeting.

With your first class organisational and communication skills and an adaptable approach, you will be at ease working to tight, and often changing, deadlines and work streams. You will have working experience with a governing body or committee, and ideally have worked in a similar position within a membership, professional body or trade union. A proven understanding of the concepts and workings of corporate governance is essential, along with excellent IT skills, including advanced use of Microsoft Office.

You will ensure each programme flourishes while encouraging collaboration across teams and with external partners to meet our ambitious objectives. This is a hybrid role, allowing you to work from home and travel to see our programmes in action nationwide. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Line managing senior programme staff, including a dispersed workforce 
• Overseeing operational demands and change management 
• Financial management - budgeting, forecasting, invoices, embracing fundraising 
• Actively promoting equality of opportunity and being a powerful advocate for our cause 
• Confident communication and stakeholder engagement across sectors 
• Supporting strategic direction and deputising for the CEO when required 

You will work closely with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team of 10, and a delivery team of around 40 colleagues. 

About You 

We are seeking an exceptional communicator and versatile senior leader committed to providing quality opportunities for disadvantaged children. You must have: 

• Proven success line managing senior programme staff and a dispersed workforce 
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting 
• Working with the Impact and Learning Lead to ensure broad and deep understanding and implementation of our Theory of Change and our values, that evaluation and learning are embedded throughout the organisation and that we are known for the quality of our reporting, with all our activities and reporting informed by meaningful data. 
• To identify and develop key partnerships to enable us to extend our reach and our impact. 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills 
• Confidence and competence to act at Board level and deputise for CEO

The senior member of staff is responsible for ensuring the decisions of the Board are acted upon and the charity meets the legal and regulatory requirements of a CIO. The key focus will be on development of new income streams as we navigate challegnes across the site. The General Manager will oversee the implementation of the new Buisness Development Plan. Support the team of volunteers in project managment and fundraising to support the ambitions of the Board. HR management and financial control will be an important part of the role.

We are looking for a Policy Officer to join our busy team, specialising in welfare and employment policy.

This role will see you working to influence the policy landscape, and develop evidence-based policy positions, on issues concerning finances and debt, welfare benefits, and employment, affecting the Armed Forces community.

Reporting to the Policy Manager, key responsibilities will include:

· Monitor the policy landscape and upcoming policy development across the welfare and employment portfolio, within central, local, and devolved government

· Track and analyse changes in needs, priorities, and concerns of the armed forces community

· Use qualitative and quantitative research, policy analysis and lived experience to develop robust, evidence-based policy positions and proposals

· Identify, establish, and maintain an impactful network of key policy stakeholders across the charity sector and government

· Represent RBL publicly through securing opportunities to present policy issues and products, including at relevant events, workshops, external committees and working groups
