The Ideal Candidate will need:

• Recognised Graphic Design qualification to degree level or equivalent.
• A strong working knowledge and experience working on successful Direct Marketing campaigns to drive income and response and the whole end to end design processes and the printing process.
• Minimum of six years professional design experience in busy studio environment – working as part of a creative team in an agency or in-house.
• Ideally, experience of working in a direct marketing creative team

You will need to efficiently and effectively project manage creative briefs from concept through to completion for a wide range of online and offline assets.  It will include leading on direct mail appeals, within agreed budgets and timescales, and ensure work meets agreed quality, budget and client service standards. Interpret stakeholder briefs into meaningful creative executions using exploratory evaluation through meetings or workshops.  You will need to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop concepts and / or options. Deliver and create visual assets across online and offline platforms.

About the role

The post holder will provide support to clients who lack capacity and to implement the safeguards of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 or the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. They will provide non-instructed advocacy (NIA) support to people who lack capacity to make specific decisions and who have no-one else to support them. About you

You will have significant experience working with vulnerable adults and/or children, either within health or social care setting, or indirectly, for example as a carer. As a Debt Advice Caseworker, you will provide high quality advice and casework services to our clients who call through to our national help desk. The role is fully telephone based, at our office in Stoke on Trent. The telephone lines are open from 9am-8pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday 9.30am-1pm. The role includes a variety of shift patterns in line with the requirements of the contract.

You will predominantly be advising clients on their debt issues over the phone, helping them to find solutions to their issues. No call is the same, and each client is given tailored advice dependent on their circumstances. • Gather and analyse quarterly data and metrics for website, newsletter and social media performance

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in a communications, content or digital marketing role
• WordPress back-end and front-end knowledge and skills 
• Technically-able with experience using newsletter software such as Mailchimp, as well as generally being proficient using a range of digital tools and software.
• Proficient in basic graphic design and layout using InDesign or equivalent
• Strong written English and editing skills with high attention to grammar, style and brand tone
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to and deliver a communications strategy
• Organised and self-motivated, with excellent planning and time management
• Confident interpreting and using digital analytics to inform decisions
• Collaborative, with excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders

Desirable Skills

• Website maintenance, updating plug-ins and modules when needed, ensuring the site is running as smoothly as possible, and fix any bugs –
• Support ad hoc visual content needs including simple graphics and formatted reports using InDesign or similar
• Familiarity with the voluntary or social impact sector
• Experience designing content for campaigns, newsletters or public-facing reports
• Interest in community development, employment or corporate social responsibility
• Knowledge of brand management principles and visual identity design

Overview of the Legacy Administrator role and the team

Barnabas Aid is looking for a detail-oriented and organised Legacy Administrator to join our International Support function within the Finance team. The Legacy Administrator will be responsible for managing all administrative aspects of legacy and will-related processes, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of gifts received through bequests, wills, and estates. This role requires close attention to detail, accurate record-keeping, and a sensitive approach to working with legacy supporters and their families.

Working closely with the International Finance Director, the Legacy Administrator will be a key point of contact for all legacy-related matters, providing crucial support to the organisation’s legacy income and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that gifts left to Barnabas Aid are administered correctly and that supporters’ wishes are honoured.
