Job description

Prospectus is delighted to be working with Aberystwyth University to support the search for a Development Services Manager to join the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO). The Development Services Manager will lead and support two direct reports and will focus on developing and managing DARO’s management information systems and services.

This role is offered on a permanent, full-time (part-time options available) basis paying a salary of £38,205- £44,263 per annum. This is a hybrid role where you can work between home and Aberystwyth University.
The Development Services Manager will be responsible for the day to day running and development of the DARO database and will have a departmental lead on finance management, prospect research and due diligence on prospective donors and funders, to support the achievement of strategic objectives for fundraising and alumni volunteering initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a CRM database (Raiser’s Edge or similar) and providing accurate and accessible data on finances, individuals and activities to staff and stakeholders in support of their plans and activities. In addition to experience of designing and developing analysis and trend reports for team members and high-level presentations. Experience of working for a university or within the non-profit sector is not essential.
