The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is a membership organisation dedicated to supporting our members to improve the standard of medical practice across the fields of radiology and oncology. Members are the lifeblood of the RCR and we’re seeking a Membership Operations Team Leader that will ensure member’s interactions with us are seamless, easy and professional.

As the team lead you play a critical role in supporting the high-performing Operations team through day-to-day supervision to meet service-level agreements and deadlines. You’ll ensure the smooth functioning of our membership processes, act as the first point of contact for queries from the team and provide an excellent service to our members, doing your part to contribute to the overall success of the RCR.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate and deliver the members’ annual renewal processes and manage communications channels and copy.
• Manage the member life cycle and regularly review operational processes, policies and practices, with oversight from the Membership Operations Manager.
• Supervise the Operations Team in line with goals and objectives agreed by the Operations Manager, providing motivation, coaching and direction on a day-to-day basis.
• Be the point of contact to assist and support members of the Operations Team in relation to member escalations and queries.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to manage and plan current and future workload to ensure the team meets deadlines, provides an exceptional service and reaches service level agreements (SLAs).
• Develop comprehensive and presentable reports to support data-led decision making, renewals tracking, KPI targets or to provide insights.
• Management of budget lines assigned to operational activities to ensure favourable terms are achieved.

• Knowledge of membership systems and procedures.

As the social media officer, you’ll help manage an audience of more than 200,000 people across X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube. Dementia UK offer hybrid working between their office location and home, with requirements of working from their office 1-2 days per week. Salary for this role is between £40-45k per year.

The Marketing Communications Planning Manager is responsible for planning and ensuring the delivery of a strategically aligned plan for the Marketing and Communications Team. Working with the Marketing and Brand Lead, they will play a key role in setting our communications priorities and planning key organisational communication ‘moments’, such as our brand campaigns and World Alzheimer’s Month. Key Responsibilities:

· Develop channel strategies – working with the Marketing and Brand Lead, plan and execute campaigns, determining which platforms would have the most impact and working with relevant colleagues to adapt assets to suit the channel they’re being used on.

· Manage marketing and planning briefs – for priority projects, be the first point of contact for marketing briefs, refining briefs, advising colleagues on channel strategies and liaising with Marcomms teams to deliver campaigns and content.

· Identifying opportunities for integrated activity – play a key role in aligning marketing communications activity so plans are more cohesive and joined up.

· Manage the organisational communication calendar – work with teams across the charity to agree and implement quarterly external communication priorities, enabling us to be more joined up in our comms planning.

· Manage key brand and marketing campaigns – responsible for leading key brand and marketing campaigns, including; writing key messaging, managing project groups; having oversight of activity and working with channel leads (eg social media, email, design, media) and creative team to deliver the activity.

· Build our bank of insight and research – analyse results from marketing activity, interrogate our brand tracker monthly results, follow the latest trends and monitor what other charities are doing.

· Report on results – gather data on campaign results and create reports to show what worked and what was less effective for different audiences and channels.

· Project management – monitor cost, timescales and resources, assessing and recommending actions where variances from the plan occur.

· Agency management – manage external agencies in delivering campaigns and content.

Person Specification:

· Experience of marketing communications planning and managing integrated marketing, digital and communications campaigns.

· Managing and delivering against budgets and reporting on KPIs.

· Understanding of the needs of internal and external stakeholders, and using audience insight to deliver effective strategies.

· Ability to see the big picture and challenge with both authority and tact.

Sleep difficulties and sensory needs are a large part of the role to enable veterans to live as they want to so experience in these areas would be beneficial.

About the Role

You will have the opportunity to work in the homes and local communities and be able to support them with physical and mental health needs that are creating barriers to meaningful occupation. By carrying your own defined caseload, you will be able to identify barriers that are affecting veterans’ ability to be as independent as possible and live the life they want to live. Job purpose

Part of the Communications and Engagement department, the Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer is responsible for developing and implementing strategic policy initiatives and engaging with key stakeholders to advance our policy priorities across the four UK nations. Working with colleagues, members and external stakeholders, you will deliver high quality analysis and research, produce evidence-based policy positions and outputs, and employ effective public affairs approaches to influence change on behalf of our members.

Main responsibilities

Strategic planning and reporting

• Contribute to developing, implementing and evaluating policy and public affairs (PPA) strategies, campaigns and plans aligned to member priorities and our wider strategic aims.
• Lead and manage the delivery of specific PPA workstreams, working in partnership with other organisations as needed.
• Monitor and report on performance against organisational and departmental objectives.

Policy development

• Monitor and analyse the external policy, political and parliamentary landscape across the four UK nations to identify influencing opportunities and relevant developments – summarising these for internal audiences.
• Contribute to the design and analysis of member surveys, drafting reports and presenting findings to inform the College’s policy agenda.

Public affairs

• Draft briefings and presentations to support events and senior-level meetings with politicians, civil servants, NHS and other key decision makers.

Communications

• Work closely with the communications team to support the delivery of communications strategies and plans, ensuring the accuracy of policy information contained in College outputs and contributing to our press activities, member magazine, newsletters and website as required.
• Draft, implement and evaluate the impact of strategic engagement plans for policy publications.
• Support the communication of College policy positions internally, including by proposing lines to take for inclusion in our messaging house and assisting in briefing colleagues and volunteers – including the Chief Executive and President – on these.

The Direct Marketing Officer will support the development, management, and optimisation of London’s Air Ambulance Lottery and Regular Giving programs which has phenomenal success via face-to-face fundraising. An exciting opportunity which will see the successful candidate working closely with the Operations Team, paramedics, doctors, and pilots to develop and deliver training to face-to-face fundraisers that brings the work of London’s Air Ambulance to life. The post holder will also work closely with external agency partners, as well as internal stakeholders and various teams within the charity.
