Your role
We’re looking for an experienced social media professional who has the expertise to lead the delivery of the RNLI’s social media strategy and approaches across both paid and organic, advising and supporting a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation in order to help save lives at sea.
As Senior Social Media Manager, key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the delivery of paid and organic content, as well as community management, across our channels
- Line managing a team of social media specialists
- Providing strategic and outcomes-focused responses to marketing briefs
- Driving forward social media fundraising for the RNLI
- Procuring, implementing and managing relevant social media tools and software
- Innovating in the social media space, including launching new channels
- Leading on the social media elements of crisis communication responses
Please note that as part of the role you will also contribute to the team’s out-of-hours community management rota.
About you
The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately. To be considered for the Senior Social Media Manager role you will have substantial experience leading on organic and paid content and the strategic use of social media within a large organisation, as well as experience of line management and stakeholder management.

The Royal Foundation of St Katharine, is one of the UK’s oldest charities. Founded in 1147, it has always been cared for by the Queens of England. Position Overview
The Royal Foundation of St Katharine is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its commercial and operational activities. This role is pivotal in driving the financial performance and service excellence of the Foundation, ensuring that its commercial success generates the income to support the organisation’s charitable objectives.
The General Manager will oversee c60 staff and take the lead on: generating c£3m revenue annually; business development; profitability; guest satisfaction; and operational excellence. Join Different Strokes, a national charity led by young stroke survivors for young stroke survivors. There are 100,000 strokes in the UK every year, and 1 in 4 of these happen to someone of working age or younger. We aim to promote independent stroke recovery and help younger stroke survivors to reclaim their lives.
We are a small national charity that really cares about what we do. We are in an exciting period of growth and are looking to expand our team. We are seeking a passionate individual to work alongside our marketing manager.
As our Information Officer, you’ll play a vital role in developing and refining our information resources for stroke survivors and their families. Your primary focus will be to lead the creation and enhancement of our information packs, which cover a range of topics important to our community. Collaborating with team members and gathering insights from stroke survivors, you’ll ensure that our materials are accessible, informative, and aligned with our community's needs.
The role would be home based, but require regular visits to our office in Milton Keynes. Initially it is offered as 20 hours per week on a 12 month contract, but there is potential for this to be extended. The salary is £24,500 per annum pro-rata.

We are looking for an individual interested in developing a career in legacy case management and in memory giving to join our team as our new Legacy & In Mem Assistant. This role involves supporting the legacy team in all aspects of case management, managing the day-to-day administration of all in memory giving and providing excellent donor care, with a focus on establishing long term relationships to support donor engagement.
We are looking for an individual with some of the key skills and some related experience, but we are also committed to supporting learning and development in the role. This person will be part of a small but high performing team generating significant fundraising revenue from legacies and in-mem giving.

Purpose of role
- To directly support the legacy team in all aspects of case management
- To effectively manage the day-to-day administration of all in memory giving including donor communications and recognition to optimise funds from this income stream

Responsibilities
In Memory
- Provide first point of contact and ongoing (sensitive) communications for all In Memory supporters, family members and funeral directors including acknowledging donations

The Policy and Evidence Officer will be instrumental in ensuring that all our plans and activities are evidence-driven and meet the needs of patients and those who care for them. The role will be responsible for developing, expanding and maintaining Leukaemia UK’s knowledge base that will help us thoroughly understand of how diagnosis, treatment and care are delivered to people affected and how this translates to patient experience and clinical outcomes. Moreover, we want to understand at a policy level the roles of the research and treatment landscapes in improving leukaemia diagnosis, treatment and care.
The successful candidate will be adept at using quantitative and qualitative research to gather intelligence, develop insights and turn them into evidence-based, solution-focused policy positions to drive our policy, health improvement, campaigning and public affairs programme. This includes gathering insights from desk-based research, patient groups, and health experts, as well as contributing our voice to drug appraisals to ensure patients benefit from the latest treatments. This role ensures that the 'patient voice' is heard, while also ensuring that the needs and priorities of individuals with leukaemia and other blood cancers are understood, represented and valued.
This role will be essential in leading our evolving work on drug appraisals to ensure that innovative treatments are approved and become available for patients with leukaemia and blood cancers who can benefit from those treatments.
This role requires the ability to engage patient representatives and a wide range of stakeholders at different levels of seniority, such as healthcare professionals, researchers and policy/health improvement experts to understand what changes are needed across diagnosis, treatment and care of those with leukaemia and other blood cancers. A strong understanding of the health policy landscape, coupled with exceptional communication skills and a keen attention to detail, is essential.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for the smooth running of the Chief Executive’s office. BEING A TRAINING AND ENGAGEMENT LEAD AT HERSANA
As an experienced Training & Engagement Lead you will work within a dynamic, fast paced team to engage organisations and upskill professionals that work with women and girls on the topic of Harmful Practices (HP) and Gender-based Violence (GBV). You will find creative ways of engaging Black women and girls who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing gender-based violence and abuse and support them in accessing (HERSANA's) long-term specialist services.
You will ideally hold a Training accreditation and have an excellent understanding of Harmful Practices and its effects on women and girls, and of best practice within the VAWG sector. As an experienced advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, you will help survivors to receive both physical and psychological support and ensure that professionals understand the effects of and their duties towards those at risk of all forms of gender-based abuse. Experience of direct work with femme survivors of Harmful Practices is essential for this post, as is the desire to ensure that affected communities have an equal voice in the design and delivery of support services in Sussex.
You will be highly organised, self-motivated, and passionate about ending gender-based violence and creating safe spaces for survivors. You will have a "can-do" approach and demonstrable commitment to HERSANA's feminist approach to supporting Black women and girls to be safer.

Working as part of a team you will support a range of clients, making proactive contact and providing high quality advocacy and support which is led by client needs and risk assessments. You will ideally hold an ISVA and/or IDVA accreditation and have an excellent understanding of gender-based violence and abuse and its effects on women and children, and of best practice within the support sector. As an experienced advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, you will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information daily. Experience of direct work with Black femme survivors of abuse and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.
You will be highly organised, self-motivated, and passionate about ending gender-based violence and creating safe spaces for Black femmes. You will have a "can-do" approach and demonstrable commitment to HERSANA's feminist approach to supporting Black women and their children to be safer.
You will receive training and support for this role, as necessary.

Over the years, our service has sought to support and empower Black femme survivors to cope and build resilience, be better informed, reduce the risk of further victimisation, improve health and wellbeing, and receive the right support. HERSANA provides advocacy services to clients who have experienced or are at risk of all forms of GBV. Our Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocates and dedicated team offer holistic support to survivors navigating the criminal justice system, housing, health, and other immediate and long-term needs.
As a leading expert on violence against women and girls, HERSANA provides accredited and tailored training to a wide range of statutory professional services and workshops to schools, colleges and community groups. We use the knowledge gained through working on the frontlines with clients to advocate for national and local policy change, to improve outcomes statutory guidance for Black femme victims and survivors of GBV. We equally contribute to ongoing research and knowledge development on Black femme specific subjects. We push for legislative change, improved statutory guidance for victims, and better understanding of the needs of Black femmes around the country. These resources reflect our dedication to enhancing understanding, support, and empowerment within our community. Additionally, we provide in-person and online therapeutic support to our service users in Sussex, Surrey, and London. Our daily work aims to contribute to and create value within the sector, ensuring Black femmes are not just accommodated but become principal players in the design, delivery, and access to support services
BEING A THERAPY COORDINATOR AT HERSANA
As an experienced Therapy Coordinator you will manage the delivery of and hold clinical responsibility for developing our adult and young people therapy service in London, Surrey and Sussex. The successful candidate will hold a counselling/therapy qualification and will have at least 2 years post-qualification experience of working with people affected by gender-based violence/abuse. You will also hold a BACP, UKCP or HCPC accreditation and have a depth of knowledge, understanding and experience of trauma informed therapeutic support, safeguarding and possess good all-round IT skills.
You will have experience of recruitment, induction, training and line management. You will have experience in delivering clinical supervision or be a skilled and experienced manager who demonstrates a commitment to Black feminist principles and has demonstrable experience of implementing these principles. If successful, you will also be part of the HERSANA Management Team which has operational responsibility for the day-to-day management of HERSANA and its services, in order to meet the aims and objectives of the organisation.
