Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, the PTN is recruiting a Partnerships Manager who will provide management and oversight of key partnerships essential to the delivery of the Network’s Strategic Plan, with a specific focus on the development and delivery of Regional Hubs.

You will have experience of establishing and delivering partnerships; dedicated to social justice; a commitment to collaborative working; and proven management experience.

Key Tasks

• To form part of the Core Leadership Team, providing overall strategic leadership across the Network 
• To manage the Partnership team, setting clear goals and objectives linked to the Strategic Plan 
• To lead on the development and support of Regional Hubs, including support with grant funding and income generation
• To act as the primary point of contact with Regional Hubs, for initial enquiries and ongoing relationships, including with staff and trustees
• To provide oversight of the Network’s Parliamentary work in Westminster and across the devolved administrations
• To oversee the Network’s Learning & Evaluation framework, offering insight and advice as appropriate, ensuring that agreed activities are delivered on time and in budget 
• To be the primary point of contact for partners working alongside the Network to deliver change in line with its Strategic Plan
• To recruit external partners to participate in the Mutual Mentoring programme
• To liaise closely with members of the Amplify Team in the development of national partnerships
• To develop and support work with creative partners to highlight the resilience of those struggling to overcome poverty
• To deputise for the Director as and when required
• To undertake other activities as needed dependent on jobholder’s knowledge, skills and experience

This role involves working from home with some travel.

This is an exciting new position for a highly motivated, analytical and collaborative Financial professional with project and grant experience, with a commitment to improve systems and processes, develop a healthy compliance culture and to make a real difference in a growing organisation. The post-holder will provide project support and technical finance expertise to our Global Renewables Alliance (GRA) grant-funded projects and advice on donor-funded or other restricted projects, to ensure accuracy of all finance transactions related to the project and to manage all financial aspects of projects from budget preparation to project closure. 

Essentia Person Criteria:

• 3 or more year’s post qualified work experience in project finance management and grant management

Building Recovery in Community Coordinator

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Recovery coordinator (HMYOI Deerbolt being the community) to support Waythrough’s service delivery within Reconnected to Health in HMYOI Deerbolt.As a Building Recovery coordinator, you will provide 1:1 support for service users, who have completed most of their recovery journey with a Recovery Coordinator and are now in sustained recovery. You will take a “whole person” holistic approach to ensure that every service user’s package of care encompasses all areas of their wellbeing, to achieve the best possible outcomes for every person. 
As a Building Recovery coordinator, you will also recruit train and supervise peer mentors who will support the service alongside yourself with group delivery, mutual aid, focus groups and any project work.

• Manage a service user caseload, devising, implementing and reviewing on-going recovery plans and treatment, liaising closely with the full range of workers and skills within the service team, including family members and significant others as appropriate.
• Carry out focus groups and promote equality diversity and inclusion through project work and promotion of the service
• Recruit, train and supervise peer mentors who are an integral part of our service delivery and lived experience
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to undertake shared assessments, key working and interventions to promote individual service user progression from engagement, through structured treatment to self-sustained recovery.
• Facilitate service user access to treatment and community resources to increase recovery and social capital, supporting service users and their families within their local community To lead effective case management for allocated service users, including on-going processes such as risk assessments, risk management plans and safeguarding assessments and plans. This includes the effective use of an online case management system.

This is a great opportunity to join the unique RCJ Advice - Citizens Advice & Law Centre. We have two court-based offices, at the Royal Courts of Justice on the Strand, and at the Central Family Court on High Holborn, although we mainly now provide advice by telephone and can therefore support people who are accessing any court in England and Wales.

Contract type: Permanent, Full Time, 35 hours per week

About the Role

As our creative and innovative Legacy & In Memory Marketing Officer, you will deliver a range of compelling communications to increase consideration for legacy giving and implement personalised stewardship journeys for our legacy and in memory supporters, as well as delivering engaging thank you events. 

In this role, you will plan, manage and execute print, email and digital campaigns across the marketing funnel, as well as deliver exceptional stewardship, through personal communications and events, to our committed supporters.

You’ll also: 

• Prepare and agree campaign strategies using data, analysis and insight that meet specific objectives within the LIM Team plans
• Undertake Project Management responsibilities required for the successful and timely delivery of campaigns
• Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers to ensure the effective and timely delivery of campaigns 
• Manage a legacy and high value supporter event programme
• Operate a rigorous test to learn methodology, regularly monitoring, evaluating and analysing campaigns

Requirements

You’ll be passionate about using your experience in fundraising and marketing to make a difference by creating inspiring and supporter-led communications that effectively raises consideration for legacy giving and uncovers new prospects and pledgers. You will steward our existing legacy and in memory supporters through engaging supporter journeys and events.

To be successful, you’ll need: 

• Proven experience in a direct marketing or supporter engagement role
• Proven experience in delivering and/or supporting on events
• Experience of developing and implementing supporter journeys across multiple channels

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• A recognised direct marketing qualification

You will play an integral part in Unloc’s mission to develop young people as changemakers; focused on building relationships with local stakeholders, managing the programme facilitation team & delivering programmes directly to young people.

The new local manager in Leeds will lead the charge to grow our presence and impact within local communities in Leeds and beyond. You’ll create powerful connectivity with schools, colleges, businesses, local authorities and public sector partners to help us deliver on our mission.

At the same time, you will walk-the-walk by being part of our front line facilitation team; delivering innovative and exciting programmes with young people across our network of schools, colleges, businesses and community organisations. We deliver a broad range of programmes that develop young people’s skills, confidence and connection to purpose - they come under four key headings; Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Youth Voice, and Careers and Employability.

Unloc programmes for young people are unique. Our facilitators use innovative learning tools, both digital and physical, to create engaging events and experiences that young people will truly remember. Where You’ll Be Delivering Our Mission

Most of the time, you’ll be based from our brand new Unloc Leeds office space in the city centre, or delivering programmes in Schools and Colleges in the Leeds City Region. 

You’ll also be out and about delivering programmes to our partners in other areas across the North of England. Occasionally, you will travel to London or Portsmouth (our HQ) to spend time with other teams. You will likely have more travel in your first three months as part of your induction programme. Of course, any travel costs outside of commuting to/from the Leeds city centre office will be covered, alongside an allowance for meals and accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the implementation of the Unloc Leeds Strategy

• Working in partnership with the Senior Team to ensure the delivery of the Unloc Leeds strategy. This includes;

  • Building new relationships with local schools and colleges. 

  • Facilitating free-to-access Changemaker Challenge days for local schools in Leeds. 

  • Delivery of workshops and presentations, attendance at events to to promote Unloc’s programmes and initiatives to schools, colleges and community groups.

Working in partnership and building new stakeholder relationships

• Liaise and act as a primary point of contact for current key stakeholders to promote Unloc’s work. This will include Local Authorities, Education Trusts, Businesses and Community Interest Groups. 

• Implement engagement strategies to build deep and meaningful new relationships with key stakeholders and people - developing advocacy for Unloc and our mission - and garnering insights into their challenges and priorities.

• Represent Unloc in external meetings, conferences and networking opportunities - building relationships that could support our efforts to generate new income.

Organise, plan and facilitate changemaker projects and programmes

• Organise, plan and facilitate bespoke changemaker events (with support from the Operations and Quality teams) for individual businesses, grant giving bodies, schools & colleges. These will span all four of our programme pillars; youth voice, leadership, entrepreneurship, and careers and employability. This generally involves designing agendas, booking speakers, managing event resources, actively leading individual sessions, briefing event support staff, liaising with key points of contact and managing attendance from multiple schools, colleges and partners.

Managing staff

• To line-manage other members of staff in line with Unloc’s People Management Approach. This includes:

  • Providing wrap around support to individual team members when they require it.

  • Promoting a culture of excellence in programme management and facilitation.

  • Ensuring that facilitators you manage operate in line with Unloc’s policies, procedures and practices whilst instilling Unloc’s core team values.

  • Maintaining a working knowledge of each staff member’s portfolio and current progress on programmes and providing a source of accountability.

  • Holding regular check-in meetings with team members.

  • Carrying out formal progress review meetings with team members every 6 months.

  • Dealing with staff member HR requests and scenarios such as flexible working, holiday requests, sick days, etc.

  • Supporting staff members to make progress against their CPD plans.

  • Providing praise and encouragement to staff members, and formally recognising and sharing excellent practice.

Providing additional support and opportunities for students

• Providing support and additional opportunities for young people you work with where possible, including the promotion of Unloc+ (unloc.online/oppportunities)

To support other Unloc projects

• To aid other Unloc projects as and when required by the team (in consultation between you and your line manager).

Qualifications

Essential: GCSE Maths and English at grade 9-4 (A*-C) (or equivalent e.g. International Baccaluareate).

Senior Philanthropy Manager (Maternity Cover) 

Contract: Maternity Cover, Full Time, 35 hours per week.

About the Team 

The Philanthropy and Trusts Team raises circa £6m per year from philanthropists, trusts and foundations. The audience is individual philanthropists (gifts over £10k per annum), and trusts and foundations (grants over £25k per annum).

About the Role: 

As Senior Philanthropy Manager (Maternity Cover) you will:

• Proactively build a personal portfolio of HNWIs and UHNWIs able to give £1m+ through relationship development, appropriate and dynamic pitching and influencing and negotiating expertise.
• Effectively line manage three direct line reports. Lead by example and support high performance, ensuring the professional and personal development goals of staff are met.
• Proactively manage, with the prospect research team, the philanthropy team’s new business pipeline to achieve team and organisational objectives, working across the Strategic Partnerships department and across the WaterAid Federation as appropriate. 
• Be the senior level contact for all aspects of event planning and delivery, supporting the Philanthropy and Events Manager to manage the strategic planning, development and running of an events programme to time and budget for the benefit of the Philanthropy and Trusts Team, and where appropriate, the wider Strategic Partnerships Department. 

Requirements

To be successful, you’ll need:  

• Proven track record of raising “Principal gifts” of £1m+.
• Proven ability to manage a successful philanthropic portfolio, achieving targets as part of a strategic plan and maximising income from existing supporters.
• Experience managing the complexities of income management and KPI’s to monitor the teams progress and growth.
• Experience of line management / supervising the work of others; leading and motivating others and driving change.
• Be confident in leading work with senior level stakeholders, both internally and externally, in order to secure significant grants and manage strategic partnerships, using tact and diplomacy. 
• Have a passion for international development, a commitment to WaterAid’s stated values and a working style that reflects these.
