Victim Support is seeking an inspiring leader to join our Witness Service Mobilisation Team as the Head of Volunteering - Witness Service. As Witness Service Head of Volunteering, you will:

• Create and deliver a Witness Service mobilisation plan delivering the mobilisation project outcomes within the Witness Service volunteering strand.

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Senior Charity Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Charities Technical and Strategic Finance Manager, you will play a central role in the provision of expert financial advice across CBF’s charitable funding activities, as well as supporting wider charitable operations within the City Corporation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist charity finance advice and lead financial due diligence for CBF’s grant-making and charitable funding.

• Prepare and review financial statements for various charities within the City Corporation's portfolio.

Our client's Rough Sleeping Team in Oxford provide a rapid response service to support people at immediate risk of rough sleeping. They are currently looking for inspirational people to join the Somewhere Safe to Stay Service (SSTS) team as Assessment and Reconnection Workers where no day is the same. You will work as part of a busy, dedicated team while developing the necessary skills to:

• Provide direct support to people new to, or at risk of rough sleeping; working closely with individuals on assessment action plans which fully involves them in their recovery. To do this you will build positive working relationships with a range of services and individuals across Oxford.

Team: Supporter Care

We’re looking for a Supporter Care Assistant to join a busy and friendly team on a temporary basis.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for supporters – responding to enquiries by phone and email, processing donations, and keeping supporter records accurate and up to date. You’ll also play an important part in making sure every supporter feels valued and appreciated, whether that’s through sending out personalised thank you cards or providing efficient support to fundraising activity.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering excellent supporter care via phone and email

• Processing and acknowledging donations promptly and accurately

• Logging supporter information and interactions on the internal database

• Supporting the smooth running of fundraising activity through effective administration

• Working closely with colleagues across the organisation to achieve fundraising goals

What we’re looking for:

• Great verbal and written communication skills

• A confident, friendly phone manner and a genuine enjoyment of helping people

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• The ability to juggle tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment

• A team player who can also work independently

• London-based or within commuting distance, able to attend the Aldgate office at least 2 set days per week

Desirable but not essential:

• Experience in customer service or supporter care

• Familiarity with databases or CRM systems

• Previous involvement in fundraising or campaign activity

We are looking for an enthusiastic events officer for a high-profile national charity . You will be supporting the events teams over a busy period , engaging, and stewarding challenge event participants and working with the special events team on an awards ceremony. Supporting across teams on all events administration, and projects they are all working on .

Hybrid working 2 or 3 days in their London Office

The Role
Creating digital communications to event attendees
Setting up and taking actions for project meetings
Admin processes, such as raising invoices, managing guest lists on database.
Event Day prep, including ordering and packing materials

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The main purpose of this role is to provide high-quality support and interventions to clients with mental health needs who require early intervention and prevention. The postholder will support clients throughout their time in the service, empowering them with the skills to cope independently, while working in line with organisational values, the ethos of recovery, and principles of co-production. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of clients, delivering group activities and programmes, and clearly communicating the aims, objectives, pathways, and service model to enable clients to fully participate in and co-produce their support. The role also involves helping service users engage effectively with community professionals, developing peer support networks and community-based approaches, monitoring the health, wellbeing, and safety of service users, and contributing to the core work of the service. Accurate and timely administration, referrals, assessments, and service reviews are required, alongside participation in supervision, appraisals, training, and team development activities. Flexibility, initiative, and a collaborative approach are essential to ensure effective service delivery and support for both clients and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have lived experience of mental health care pathways, including emergency department attendance, acute admissions, and community mental health services, alongside a solid understanding of the issues affecting individuals with a range of mental health conditions. They will be able to communicate effectively and provide support with dignity and respect, forming and sustaining trusting relationships with service users, carers, peer support workers, and professionals. Strong listening and verbal communication skills are essential to engage appropriately with service users in crisis, colleagues, and external agencies, both in person and over the phone. Knowledge of recovery tools, local mental health and wellbeing support, and the ability to assess needs, risks, and aspirations to provide appropriate signposting are required. The candidate will demonstrate strong prioritisation, time management, and the ability to work dynamically under pressure. Proficiency in IT, including MS Word, Outlook, and internet functions, as well as good literacy and numeracy skills to produce clear written correspondence, is expected. They will have a sound understanding of safeguarding issues and the ability to address them appropriately, work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and support the induction of new peer staff and volunteers. Strong communication, partnership building, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Empower a caseload of service users to manage their health and wellbeing. As part of a team, you will support a staffing rota offering support to service users between the hours of 8am-10pm Mon-Sun each week. In collaboration with your team, you will actively monitor wellbeing, mental health, housing and living environment to ensure service users journey into independence.

Moreover, you will take a solution focused and coproduced approach to supporting service users with their move-on into independent living.

A great opportunity has risen for a Sporting + Events Officer to join our ambitious team to help deliver our biggest Fundraising event, the London Marathon and project manage at least one of our other core events to drive income and maximise ROI for the charity.

Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs. We fund cutting-edge research, provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime. We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.

You will support the Sporting + Event Manager to deliver the London Marathon, taking ownership of key projects and events within the London Marathon journey and overseeing supporter journeys, recruitment, communications, and event logistics. You will also have the opportunity to manage at least one of our core third party events.

You will have excellent project management skills and some experience of charity fundraising. You will be organised, a strong verbal and written communicator with the ability to empathise and adapt tones. You will have great attention to detail and be adept at managing different tasks simultaneously. You will interact with colleagues at all levels across the organisation and have a great opportunity to develop your event management skillset.
