We are looking for a Legacy Marketing Manager to join our Fundraising team.

Title: Legacy Marketing Manager

Salary: £40,000 to £43,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent (full-time)

Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)

Location: Hybrid, with head office in Hampstead, London

Key responsibilities

These include but are not limited to:

• Develop and manage our legacy fundraising, setting and achieving agreed targets to help us to grow our long-term legacy income.
• Plan, develop and implement high impact, audience-centric legacy marketing campaigns to attract new legacy pledgers, considerers and enquirers. This includes activity across a range of channels from social media, digital, telemarketing, direct mail and events.
• Develop and implement compelling supporter journeys to effectively steward potential legators.
• Ensure that all legacy marketing campaigns are managed efficiently and effectively.
• Track, report and benchmark results to inform decision making for future activity.
• Overall management of our annual legacy income; management of our legacy administration, including overseeing the external legacy admin support.
• Build and maintain sustainable, constructive relationships with colleagues and key external suppliers. Provide internal resources for learning about legacies, to aid awareness.
• Collaborate to ensure integrated planning for legacy marketing with the wider teams: Individual Giving, other fundraising teams, the register team, marketing and content along with other colleagues to identify sustainable ways to deliver our Fundraising strategy.

Essential attributes:

• Experience of creating and managing large scale, multi-channel, audience-centric and insight-led response-driving fundraising or marketing campaigns
• Demonstrable track record of achieving legacy fundraising success through integrated communications to individual supporters, with experience of effective supporter stewardship to drive loyalty
• A track record of developing and meeting targets within budget
• A working understanding of legacies and the legacy administration process and experience of working with solicitors and online will writing partners.
• Experience of producing financial analysis to improve lifetime value, including detailed income and expenditure budgets and reforecasts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and project management skills
• Confident use of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, Excel and First Class.
• Ability to understand, interpret and review plans based on complex information and situations

The Supporter Relations Team plays a pivotal role in building relationships with our supporters and assisting our fundraising team to raise vital funds that will support our mission to beat blood cancer within a generation. The main purpose of this role is to lead and develop the Supporter Relations Team to deliver excellent customer service to our supporters from the beginning of their journey with Blood Cancer UK. Our processes need to be as efficient and effective as possible to get the best from our supporters.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with great communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. The post holder will take responsibility to help build lasting relationships with our supporters through written and verbal communication and ensure efficient administration of donations and maintaining accurate data on our CRM system. Fundraising underpins all of the charity's work and is crucial to their success. As Individual Giving Lead you will be responsible for driving donations and supporter engagement using personal, story-led communications.

* Managing individual giving activity - including activities such asregular giving, one-off donations and appeals, digital fundraising and payroll giving
* Developing and implementing a supporter engagement programme - create a multi-channel communication programme to optimise supporter retention and deepen engagement
* Leading on supporter appeals - working with other function leads to ensure activity is integrated and optimised
* Managing challenge event activity - including promoting and allocating National Eczema Society Gold Bond places in key events
* General management activities - such as budgeting, planning, strategy development

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, the Email Marketing Manager will help to maximise income, supporter recruitment and retention through digital channels, including paid search, display ads and social media (fundraising appeals)

This role is responsible for delivering all email marketing activity, including:

· You will own the entire email marketing strategy, working collaboratively within the lifecycle team, as well as with cross-functional teams such as Creative, Data, Website, Content and Design

About You

You will have experience of:

· Managing Email Marketing Campaigns for large organisations

· Delivering digital products that are fully compliant and meet best practice e.g. on accessibility

• Master’s degree or equivalent with a Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in prospect research experience or a strong equivalent (eg other roles within fundraising) for international NGOs, scientific organisations or organizations with global public health relevance. Some experience with medical research or neglected tropical diseases would be highly regarded.
• Someone who is driven and able to work effectively in a remote team environment and matrix structure

Research and identify a pipeline of qualified prospective corporate donors who are headquartered in the UK/Europe and have the capacity and propensity to give at the six-figure level.  

Engage and cultivate new high value corporate/corporate foundation donors.

Create compelling propositions which reflect the organisations operational needs and aligns with donor interests.

Work with the Director of Fundraising to plan cultivation events across 2024.

Specific activities:

Identify a long list of UK/Europe headquartered corporate/corporate foundation prospects, with the propensity and capacity to support at the £100K+ level. Categorising those who can fund an specific project (£300k) and those who may be smaller in scale.

Shortlist and screen prospects to create a ‘priority pipeline’ of Corporate prospects whose interests align with organisational mission, and have the capacity to fund a specific project (£300k).

Identify contact details for all priority prospects, always aligning with GDPR.  

Support the Director of Fundraising with targeted outreach and making direct approaches, with the aim to secure an exploratory meeting.

Securing new meetings with 20+ new prospects.

As required, writing compelling proposals relevant to donor interests.

High level proposal submitted on possible cultivation / networking events that they should attend in 2024.

A proven track record of identifying, engaging and securing five/six figure gifts from corporate/ corporate foundations in a charity setting.

Senior Community and Events Fundraiser, an excellent opportunity to join a long-standing regional Hospice, with Head Office based in Surrey area.

• This role can be either Full-Time (37.5 hours a week) or Part-Time (30 hours a week).
• Hybrid working pattern, with a min of 3 days office based for Full-Time hours.
• Salary; Full-Time - £35,000 per annum. Part-Time - £28,000 per annum.

As the Senior Community and Events Fundraiser, you will work with the Community and Events Lead, and be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the community and events fundraising plans and activities. You will managing a varied portfolio of events, including third party, challenges and bespoke. Along with engaging with the community to develop and implement plans for maximising income and support from individuals, groups and businesses.

Key Responsibilities for ensuring the delivery of community and events fundraising plans and activities:

• Manage, achieve and where possible exceed Community and Events income targets, taking a lead for specific projects, activities and events.
• Support the Community and Events Lead, contributing to the development of annual plans and budgets.
• Project manage challenge events (e.g. London Marathon, bike rides, skydives etc.), liaise with third-party organisers, participant recruitment and participant support.
• Work with other teams across Fundraising and MarComms to market and promote fundraising products, activities and events.
• Organise events, including liaison with venues, suppliers, monitoring expenditure, volunteers and participants and ensure all preparation is complete.
• Ensure an excellent level of supporter care and stewardship with supporters is maintained and developed.
• Provide regular reports and information about activities, supporters and volunteers.
• Line management of a Community and Events Fundraising Assistant.

To be successful in this Senior Community and Events Fundraiser role, you will have gained skills and experiences in the following areas;

• Previous experience working in fundraising in either a community, challenge or mass participant event capacity.
• Experience of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with individual fundraisers/supporters and/or, managing fundraising events.
• Experience of working to budgets, targets and plans.
• Previous experience of managing staff and/or volunteers.
• Knowledge of fundraising regulations.

The Role

We are looking for someone to join the hugely successful and vibrant Fundraising team at NWAA. Duties will include:

• Developing and implementing a local fundraising plan to maximise income generation across Lancashire
• Researching, identifying and developing long term partnerships with appropriate groups and associations, individuals and volunteers
• Working closely with retail staff and volunteers to maximise synergies across Fundraising and Retail
• Acting as a positive ambassador for NWAA, promoting and raising awareness of its service and delivering engaging fundraising presentations to potential and existing local supporters.
