The Role
The fundraising team at Kidney Care UK have been incredibly successful from only being established 8 years ago, with the last 2.5 years being exponential in growth, they now have ambitious plans to treble their income in three years to sustain the growth and to continue to support kidney patients who need help and support.
This role will oversee and develop the charity's community fundraising and trade revenues, with a target of £266,000 for 2024. While fostering significant engagement with community supporters and fundraisers, you will lead a dedicated team of two within the Community and Trade team. You will work closely with the incredibly passionate and ambitious Director Of Fundraising, who will support you through the programmes.
Your responsibilities include raising awareness of community fundraising program and creating a 'best-in-class' stewardship program to cultivate new and existing relationships with supporters, volunteer groups, organizations, and partners to maximize income and elevate the charity's profile.
Responsibilities:
Community fundraising
* Design and implement a stewardship programme that converts interest into support and maximises fundraised income whilst developing lasting relationships.
* Introduce fundraising opportunities to our existing and potential supporters through a multi-channelled marketing strategy to grow levels of engagement and participation.
* Grow non-monetary donations as part of the community fundraising portfolio of events.
* Support the Head of Fundraising in designing new and developing existing community fundraising opportunities.
* Market and promote the calendar of community events to existing and potential supporters and wider to grow levels of engagement and participation.
* Support the Head of Fundraising to design and develop the community events and engagement fundraising calendar to potentially include bespoke, charity place, promoted and reactive events.
* Lead on the creation and implementation of a digital community fundraising programme, focusing of mass participation, low barrier to entry activities.
* Lead on the management and innovation of our trade fundraising income.
Database and process management
* Work with the Head of Fundraising to ensure all recording, banking and stewardship processes are up to date and working across the fundraising team, wider charity (finance, data and marketing and communications) and in accordance with current laws and regulations.
* Record all community and trade income and thank community donors and supporters as per the agreed process.
* Work with the Head of Fundraising to produce regular feedback reports and analysis on specific community products and overall revenue.

About the Charity :
The County Air Ambulance Trust has been providing essential funds that help to save lives for over a quarter of century, registered as a charity in 1996, the Trust was originally set up to provide funding and support for air ambulances based in the Midlands.
From its regional beginnings it has become a National Charity and since 2009, following the launch of the HELP Appeal, the charity has been raising much needed funds to provide life-saving helipads where they are needed most. The process of helipad development is ongoing and we are involved in discussions with Major Trauma Centres and key A&E hospitals, where new helipads or upgrades are needed over the next few years. Our incredible team of people help with end-of-life care, symptom management and respite/short break care, as well as supporting families at home and in the community.

Ensuring the ongoing needs of young people with life-limiting conditions are addressed is a priority for Rainbows. Therefore, we are seeking a part-time Transition Support Worker to join the existing Transition Team to champion and advocate for the rights of children and young people to have fair access to care, education, and social activities.
This role will involve you covering the areas of Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, and North Derbyshire therefore, you will need to have the ability to travel around without relying on public transport. You will also need to travel to the Hospice on Lark Rise in Loughborough for your interview, team meetings and events.
Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week with the requirement to work occasional weekends and evenings to support with events like open day, leavers weekends, group sessions and 1-1 support time.
About the role
This role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team working with children and young people from the age of 13 up to the age of 25, supporting them to transition from children’s services into adult’s services.
Some of the key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
· To support the Transition Lead and work as part of a location-based transition team, acting as a resource to colleagues regarding transition issues.
· To support young people and their families in all aspects of transition including health, education, social and welfare.
· To support the transition of young people moving from Rainbows to other adult services working in close partnership with Rainbows’ Family Support Team and external agencies such as schools, colleges, care providers and commissioners.
· Develop relationships with relevant services to aid the transition process.

Requirements
· Significant experience of working with children and young people with complex needs.
· Understanding of the challenges faced by young people transitioning into adult care.
· Ability to engage well with children, young people, and their families.

About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a lively, dynamic and driven fundraising events team. Over the last decade, Breast Cancer Now has built up a strong events function community fundraising and events currently accounting for nearly a quarter of the charity’s overall voluntary income.
We’re now looking for an events officer to play a key role within the team. You’ll lead on the delivery of a range of events including runs, triathlons, cycles, treks and overseas challenges, with a focus on growing income and engagement. Your role will also help to drive us forward as the go-to charity for challenge events by providing an excellent supporter experience.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a real drive and a passion for charity events fundraising. You’ll be delivering your own portfolio of events including recruitment of participants, development of supporter journeys and stewardship communications to meet net income and supporter retention targets.

Primary location of role and hybrid working

The Christie charity is a vibrant, fast moving, energetic organisation with a passionate team and a fantastic reputation. The mass participation team regularly raises just under £2m. We require someone ideally who has experience in this area already or someone with strong transisitional skills. The successful candidate will lead on mass participation events ensuring an excellent level of service is maintained to maximse fundraising income.
The Charity team is responsible for raising millions of pounds each year to ensure Christie patients receive gold standard care and treatment. This includes everything from access to world first clinical trials and receiving radiotherapy in state-of-the-art treatment centres to young adults being cared for in a bespoke age-appropriate centre and being able to offer patients anxiety reducing complementary therapy, or even creative sessions in our art room.

The Assessment, Advocacy & Advice Lead will provide frontline services to people diagnosed with HIV in Lewisham, Southwark and Lambeth as part of the Bridges partnership and South West London and Wandsworth HIV Support project. These services include assessment, emotional support and advice and advocacy for issues such as housing, welfare benefits, debt, dealing with HIV stigma or HIV treatment adherence. The Lead will facilitate signposting and referral into other support services including counselling, peer support and immigration services.
Programme
As part of Bridges programme, South West London HIV Partnership and Wandsworth HIV Support project, these services support new and previously diagnosed service users as well as family members/or carers who live in the same household. The programme will support people living with HIV and improve their health and well-being through the provision of services, delivered both face-to-face and virtually where appropriate.
