NHS Providers’ Development programmes team delivered a range of training and development activities for NHS boards and foundation trust governors. The team delivers over 200 events annually. We are looking for an additional Programme Administrator to take responsibility for the efficient event and logistics administration of this work to deliver high quality training and support for our members. This activity is delivered virtually, in-person or hybrid.

As part of our friendly Individual Giving and Philanthropy team you’ll be responsible for creating, developing and managing the acquisition, development and retention activities for our individual givers.
Using multi-channel campaigns including digital, direct mail and telephone fundraising, you’ll acquire new financial supporters to grow our existing donor base as well as fostering long term, valuable and rewarding relationships with our existing donors— putting our supporters at the heart of everything we do.
Using your extensive direct marketing experience - specifically in retention and acquisition, and your excellent analytical skills, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our Individual Giving Strategy forward.
Put simply, you’ll deliver awesome campaigns across our individual giving acquisition, development and retention programmes.
Who we’re looking for:
Data and insights are your best friends and you’ll use both to inform our strategies and campaigns. But you’ll also be that rare breed—able to translate the numbers into a creative and compelling narrative, raising the profile of the cause and engaging people with our work.
This is a blended role where you’ll balance developing and delivering strategic plans, with being hands on by delivering retention and acquisition campaigns and activities.
Key accountabilities:
· Plan, manage and execute the delivery of individual giving acquisition campaigns, to acquire new financial supporters, ensuring all campaigns meet set budgets and timing. This will include project management, data selections, creative development and post campaign analysis
· Support the development of new acquisition strategies to develop the acquisition channel
· Work with the Community Experience Team to develop and manage an exceptional supporter experience programme that drives engagement through retention, conversion and engagement for our regular givers and one off donors, as well as to ensure new supporters are welcomed and thanked consistently to drive engagement
· Work with the Marketing Team to plan, manage and deliver campaigns to increase support from existing (warm) supporters including upgrade, cross sell and conversion activity
· Plan, manage and deliver campaigns such as Winter and Spring Appeals, The Big Give (matched funding appeals), prize-led fundraising (Lottery and Raffle), legacy and in-memory, digital acquisition, DRTV and direct mail
· Work with internal teams, such as Marketing, as well as external agencies to create and deliver high performing acquisition campaigns specifically to target cold supporters, through channels such as digital, face-to-face and direct mail
· Support the Individual Giving Manager to develop and deliver a strategy for acquisition and retention – to increase the number of supporters we bring into the Charity and increase engagement to maximise income potential
· Support the Philanthropy Manager to develop and deliver the mid and high value strategy to deliver a sustainable engagement and cultivation programme for these supporters
· Develop campaign briefs, budgets and campaign targets to manage campaigns end to end. This will include project management of internal and external teams across Individual Giving campaigns. You will work with the Community Experience Team to optimise campaigns using data insights
· Manage the income and expenditure for acquisition and retention campaigns and monitor all targets. You will keep teams informed of budgets and work with them to optimise cost savings

Experience:
· At least 2 years experience of direct marketing
· Proven experience of managing and delivering successful acquisition and retention campaigns from end to end, including developing creative approaches, testing campaigns, putting in place a data strategy and managing internal and external teams
· Excellent working knowledge of direct marketing techniques, including regular giving, supporter journeys, and ask strategies using a multichannel approach
· Experience of writing, editing and proofing copy
· Evidence of using complex data, insights and analytics to inform campaign planning
· Experience of campaign and budget management
· Excellent knowledge and experience of data and data segmentation to deliver campaigns
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· A sound knowledge of direct marketing using online and offline channels
· Exceptional knowledge of individual giving and donor acquisition, including legacy and prize-led fundraising
· Exceptional understanding of supporter development
· Collaborative and can build great working relationships
· Ability to build, manage and communicate project plans
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
· Must be able to use data and analytics to inform strategy and campaign planning
· Must be able confidently use CRM system for reporting and supporter management
· Ability to write and edit engaging copy
· A good understanding of the charity sector, emerging trends and audiences

This is an exciting time to join a highly successful and friendly fundraising team at Meningitis Research Foundation (MRF) as out National Events Fundraiser. Our ideal candidate is passionate, proactive and organised and will enjoy supporting hundreds of Team MRF runners who are fundraising to defeat meningitis.
Events Fundraiser
Salary: £23,000-£28,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Bristol, hybrid or remote working with monthly meetings in Bristol
MRF National Events Programme
The MRF National Events Fundraiser is responsible for a significant proportion of our events income with hundreds of runners each year taking on the challenge of participating in iconic races such as TCS London Marathon and A J Bell Great North Run.
Many of our race participants join Team MRF for deeply personal reasons, having had first-hand experience of the disease. Without Team MRF runners we would not be where we are in the race to defeat Meningitis, they are fundamental to our work and have been so since our early days as a charity.
The National Events Fundraiser is an enjoyable role at MRF within a very successful fundraising team, which last year raised over £500,000 by supporting hundreds of runners on Team MRF.

Role Summary
This role is all about working with people, encouraging them as part of Team MRF and supporting them to reach their fundraising goals. You will need to be enthusiastic, outgoing and thrive in motivating people to take action through their fundraising.
You will need to be an advocate for MRF’s work to defeat meningitis, enabling people to achieve their goals and achieving the best for the Charity. It is through the determination of everyone involved with the national events programme that we are able to deliver a number of our goals as a charity. You will harness that passion to help each runner succeed and understand what a difference they make along the way.
With many different elements to the role from planning, marketing, stewardship and event delivery you will need to be flexible and adaptable. This isn’t a fully desk-based job, as at different points of the year you will get the chance to meet Team MRF runners face to face by attending the events themselves and delivering celebratory post-race receptions.
With large teams of runners across a rolling annual events programme you must feel comfortable in managing deadlines, overlapping plans and keeping on top of supporter communications. Whilst we have systems in place to support this, our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys taking responsibility for their own workload.
This a fun role that sees the events through from start to finish and a great opportunity for the right candidate.

- To work with the fundraising products manager, internal teams and the community & events marketing team to develop effective marketing activity.
- To help develop approaches and assets, such as content and resources, for products in your care to drive engagement from supporters, remittance and average gift, across a range of channels.
- To work with digital engagement and the community & events marketing team to monitor and report on performance, including the most effective channels, creative and audiences, to help ensure investment is maximised.
About You
Ideally, you will be someone with a real drive and a passion for charity fundraising. Who is digitally focused, driven by insight and understands the importance of great stewardship experience.
You'll have experience in a range of fundraising activities including virtual events. Adept at supporter stewardship and journeys through a variety of channels, such as digital communities, phone, and email. You'll have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding KPIs. As well as being highly organised, comfortable managing projects and if needed the ability to work to tight deadlines

The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (LNAA) provides lifesaving critical care to the communities of Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire, funded by public donations. If somebody is involved in a serious incident or suddenly taken ill, speed and time are of the essence. Giving a patient the best chance of survival, our Air Ambulance crew effectively take the A&E department to the scene of the emergency.
About the Role
Due to an internal promotion this a great opportunity to join our fundraising team.
This includes to:-
- Motivate and facilitate our wonderful supporters to maximise the funds they raise.
- Inspire new supporters to raise money, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters always ensuring they receive the best possible supporter experience.
- Maximise the ethical and sustainable generation of funds for the Charity through proactively developing community fundraising across Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire in line with the current strategy.
- Work as a part of the wider Fundraising team, contribute to our shared team goals and income targets.
