Trust Fundraiser
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid, mix of home and office working (based in Gateshead). Everyone is in the office on Wednesdays. It's a great way to catch up with the team but also lots of amazing Chuf supporters who love to pop in.

About the charity:

Chuf has been on an incredible journey over the past few years. With a mission to improve the lives of children and young people with heart conditions by providing lifelong support, Chuf funds large and small pieces of equipment, facilities, aftercare, salaries, and research that run alongside holistic care projects. Chuf supports the Children's Heart Unit at Freeman Hospital in Newcastle and the six district hospitals across the North East of England. The Heart Unit at Freeman Hospital treats over four thousand patients each year from all over the UK and is one of only two children's heart transplant units in the UK.

About the role:

As Trust Fundraiser, you'll be primarily focussed on raising funds through trusts and foundations to help Chuf deliver their ambitious 2024-27 fundraising strategy. A good chunk of this will be project based. You'll also be part of the Chuf fundraising team, so you'll be getting involved with all income generating activities. This will include assisting in the delivery of Chuf's in Memory Giving strategy through maintaining donors and providing fantastic stewardship. You'll also help the Director of Fundraising to achieve Chuf 's legacy strategy by maximising income generation through gifts in wills. First and foremost, you'll be a Chuf Fundraiser; making sure supporters receive first-class supporter care.

We are seeking a strong networker and relationship builder, ideally with a track record of securing income from trusts and grant making organisations. You'll be able to manage projects and balance competing priorities and will have experience achieving set income targets. A self-starter, who likes to work as part of a busy team and can adapt and change as necessary, you'll love working with and supporting your fabulous teammates. Senior Community and Events Fundraiser, an excellent opportunity to join a long-standing regional Hospice, with Head Office based in Surrey area.

As the Senior Community and Events Fundraiser, you will work with the Community and Events Lead, and be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the community and events fundraising plans and activities. Key Responsibilities for ensuring the delivery of community and events fundraising plans and activities:

· Report on results – gather data on campaign results and create reports to show what worked and what was less effective for different audiences and channels.

· Project management – monitor cost, timescales and resources, assessing and recommending actions where variances from the plan occur.

Person Specification:

An exciting opportunity which will see the successful candidate working closely with the Operations Team, paramedics, doctors, and pilots to develop and deliver training to face-to-face fundraisers that brings the work of London’s Air Ambulance to life. The post holder will also work closely with external agency partners, as well as internal stakeholders and various teams within the charity.

The successful candidate will thrive on collaborative work, excel in presenting compelling narratives which inspire other fundraisers to do the same. An analytical mindset is essential, along with the ability to grasp facts and data to manage projects effectively. This role is the vital link between key internal charity stakeholders and external fundraisers, trainers, and account managers and therefore a thorough understanding of the sector and or campaign management via a similar role within the charity or private sector will be key.

Charity People is thrilled to collaborate with London's Air Ambulance in the search for a dedicated Direct Marketing Officer to bolster the Fundraising and Marketing team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to crucial initiatives aimed at securing funds for the replacement of two helicopters and the enhancement of helipad facilities, enabling continued service provision for complex trauma rescue cases across London.

As the Direct Marketing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development, management, and optimization of the Lottery and Regular Giving programs through Face to Face fundraising. This position involves close collaboration with face to face fundraisers, external agency contacts, and internal stakeholders, including paramedics, doctors, and various departments within the charity.

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Hybrid, flexible working, field-based role with travel around London
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week, with core working hours of 10:00 - 16:00
Benefit: 27 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays, employee assisted programmes, volunteer leave days

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Organizing: Collaborate with the Direct Marketing Manager to oversee campaign activities across Private Site, Door to Door, and Telemarketing. Contribute to the development of strategic plans and analyze campaign results to ensure ROI.
Fundraiser Training and Engagement: Update and refine Fundraiser Induction Training and conduct engaging training sessions on the charity's services. Implement a monitoring plan for external Face to Face agencies and build strong relationships with operational teams.
Fundraiser and Agency Monitoring: Monitor fundraisers' performance, ensure compliance with internal procedures, and maintain high standards for external suppliers. Facilitate the smooth running of Face to Face campaigns and cultivate relationships with agency partners.
Administration Duties: Manage invoices, stock, and website content related to Face to Face Fundraising. Support the Direct Marketing Coordinator in territory management and engagement schemes.
