About the role
At Breast Cancer Now, we’re looking for a creative and proactive media and PR officer to join our ambitious team, as we continue to leverage our being the ‘go-to’ press office for breast cancer and position the charity as ‘determined leaders’ in our field.
This varied and exciting role plays a critical part in helping the charity build its profile through effective and compelling PR and media relations. The post holder will plan, deliver and respond to opportunities across all areas of the charity’s work, from highlighting our world-leading breast cancer research and raising awareness of our public health messaging to promoting our fundraising appeals, brand development, support services and supporting our policy and campaigning work.
The post holder will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including people with lived experience of breast cancer, our nurses, researchers, and corporate partners, alongside building strong and trusted relationships with national and regional journalists to secure high-quality targeted media coverage. Every day will be an opportunity to make a positive difference for anyone affected by breast cancer.
About you
An excellent communicator, you’ll have a strong working knowledge of the UK’s media landscape and experience of delivering impactful results in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll be innovative, creative and sensitive in your approach to raising the profile of the charity and all its areas of focus, bringing fresh ideas to engage the media and always ensuring patient voice is at the heart of our work.
You’ll be confident in building trusted, influential relationships with journalists and leverage compelling coverage across all national, consumer, regional and tradeprint, broadcast and online media through these. You’ll collaborate with internal colleagues from across the charity to deliver powerful results, and work closely with external partners, researchers, and service providers. You’ll also play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth running of the media and PR team, including through being responsible for the day-to-day liaison with external suppliers (eg media monitoring) and overseeing the collation of information for key reports (including CEO report to Board of Trustees).
With an instinct for what makes a good news story, you’ll be adept at juggling priorities and deadlines and thrive in an exciting and fast-paced press office, where you’ll be well supported by our talented and welcoming team.

About the role:
This is a rare opportunity to take a clinical role out of a traditional setting and into the heart of Camden’s rough sleeping response. As Clinical Psychologist within our Rough Sleeping Outreach and Hub Service, you will work alongside people who are often navigating mental health challenges alongside homelessness, substance use and other experiences that can make engaging with support feel difficult or unsafe. Your role will be to help bridge that gap, bringing thoughtful, psychologically informed support directly to where it’s needed most.
You’ll combine direct clinical work with a strong focus on influence and impact. This means completing assessments and formulations, supporting access to appropriate mental health pathways, and holding a small caseload for more structured therapeutic work at the hub. Alongside this, you’ll play a key role in strengthening how the wider service understands and responds to trauma and mental health, creating space for reflection, shared thinking and more effective ways of supporting clients to move away from the streets and towards safety and longer term stability.
Working closely with outreach teams, hub staff and external partners, you’ll help shape a more joined up and human approach to support. You’ll also line manage and develop an Assistant Psychologist, contributing to both their growth and the wider offer to clients. This is a role where your expertise won’t sit in isolation - it will influence practice, shape culture and ultimately help more people access the support they deserve.
About you:
- You’re a qualified Clinical Psychologist (HCPC registered) with experience supporting adults facing multiple disadvantage, including homelessness, mental health and substance use
- You build trust in a way that feels genuine and consistent, especially with people who may have had difficult experiences of services
- You’re confident in assessment and formulation, and use this to guide meaningful, person centred support and decision making
- You have experience working alongside other services and professionals, and know how to navigate systems to get the right support in place

Single Homeless Project (SHP) and Islington Council are proud to introduce St. John’s Mansions - a brand-new, purpose-built accommodation service that will provide safe, high-quality housing for individuals experiencing homelessness and facing multiple exclusion. This innovative project is backed by the GLA’s Single Homelessness Accommodation Programme (SHAP), and represents a bold step forward in tackling homelessness across North London. SHP are building a dynamic, compassionate, and forward-thinking team to bring this vision to life.
St. John’s Mansions will offer 19 beautifully finished self-contained studio flats, designed to support residents in their journey from rough sleeping and emergency accommodation to independent living. With a stay of up to 24 months, residents will receive tailored, high-intensity support to help them build the skills and confidence needed to thrive independently.
The service will operate 24/7, with a welcoming reception and dedicated staff & clients spaces to enable both structured interventions and spontaneous, meaningful engagement. SHP will be working not only within Islington but in partnership with five North London boroughs - Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Westminster. You’ll hold a caseload of clients and take the lead on delivering person centred, strengths based support that is grounded in PIE and trauma informed approaches. This includes completing holistic assessments, co-producing support plans and risk management plans, and working consistently towards move on goals. Alongside this, you’ll play a key role in the day to day running of the service, working closely with colleagues and partner agencies to maintain a safe, well managed environment, respond to emerging needs, and ensure each client receives coordinated, high quality support that supports their journey into independent living.

Can you help support new dads when it really matters?
We’re looking for a Dad Matters Coordinator to help us reach more families across Brent. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who understands the emotional ups and downs of becoming a dad and wants to support fathers at a crucial point in their parenting journey.
New dads can face real mental health challenges — often quietly. In this role, you’ll help dads feel listened to, supported and confident, strengthening attachment and helping them access the right support.

Senior Caseworker – Pathways

Ruils is run by, and for, Disabled people. We exist to remove the barriers that prevent Disabled people from living independent lives. Our vision is a society where all individuals have choice and control to live independently. We provide information, advice, advocacy, befriending and activities to our clients and their families.
Pathways is a specialised welfare advice service that provides information, advice, advocacy and representation for Disabled adults (over the age of 18) living in the Richmond Borough. We work with clients, supporting them to navigate the complex Housing, Benefits and Social Care systems. In this role, you would be providing information, guidance and advice to Disabled people and their families, enabling them to have more choice and control over their lives.
We are also part of a larger network of Disabled-led advice services. Working together, we have developed pathways for Disabled trainee case workers, collated data on Housing and Benefits issues and have fed into important consultations and campaigns.
This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for you to work one-to-one with clients to effect change, whilst also having a positive impact on the wider system.

As our Stop Smoking Specialist, you will put people in Yorkshire at the heart of everything you do, unite with colleagues and other organisations in this cause, and dare to think big and bold to make positive solutions happen.
The Role
As a Stop Smoking Specialist, you will help to deliver our stop smoking service and underpin our commitment to support people to stop smoking and reduce the risk of cancer. You will provide specialist advice and support to our service users around tobacco addiction and provide evidence-based approaches in line with national guidance and good practice to help them to quit smoking.
Supporting the Services Manager and Head of Services, you will be vital in the implementation of our strategy to ensure people in Yorkshire receive the best prevention, diagnosis and treatment. You will deliver evidence-based stop smoking interventions to patients referred into the service, providing support, advice and guidance either face to face, virtually or by telephone to maximise quitting outcomes. You will work as part of a team to respond to referrals and work with our Active Together Services, which are being rolled out across Yorkshire, and NHS Trusts where we fund in patient smoking cessation programmes.
Specifically, you will:
· Autonomously deliver smoking cessation assessments, advice and support, minimising harm from tobacco and health-related issues in line with best guidance and protocols.
· Undertake client assessments, making appropriate pharmacotherapy decisions, provide ongoing client support and undertake 4 and 12 week follow-ups.
· Advise on stop smoking medications to patients, including all forms of NRT, vapes (e.cigarettes) as well as non-nicotine treatments.
· Manage a stock of NRT and Vaping Starter kits.
· Help patients who smoke to quit, communicating in a sensitive, client centred manner.
· Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the service, including the completion of the minimum data set aligned to NHS England mandatory requirements. This will include following up with patients following discharge to monitor stop smoking outcomes.
· Manage caseload of patients and be responsible for all associated tasks, including follow-up appointments, and managing diary commitments.
· Communicate effectively with colleagues, providing clear verbal, digital or written information and instructions when sharing information, delegating, or handing over responsibility for care to ensure that smoking cessation records are kept up to date and accurate.
· Work collaboratively and co-operatively with other members of the team and observe operational policy and procedures requirements.
· Work with the Services Manager and Head of Services to ensure that public and patient insight and involvement is captured, which will shape the development, delivery and evaluation of our service to make sure they are patient centred.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
· To be educated to GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in English and Maths.
· To be National Centre for Smoking Cessation Training (NCSCT) Level 2 trained.
· To have demonstrable evidence of continuing professional development.
· To have intermediate theoretical knowledge of stop smoking support, gained through Level 2 NCSCT.
· To have substantial experience of providing smoking cessation support in a stop smoking service with good levels of quit rates.
· To have experience of working in Health and Social Care setting or community.
· To have experience of providing healthcare, healthcare advice or health improvement/promotion advice to patients or members of the public.
· To have experience of using Microsoft Office software and patient management systems such as Quit Manager.
· To have proven IT skills, including data entry, accurate reporting of agreed care plans, and experience using IT infrastructure to support effective handover of care.

Purpose of This Role:
This is a strategic role, funded by the Sir Halley Stewart Trust, to shape future policy and practice in how faith communities support social prescribing for the benefit of local communities. This includes exploring the role of faith as a strategic partner in the government's neighbourhood health agenda. Building on the work of the current postholder, and previous work by NASP and organisations like Theos and the Good Faith Partnership, this role will take the lead at a national level by influencing, shaping and convening partners to unlock and unleash the significant resources of faith groups in contributing towards holistic healthcare delivered within the community.

EDIS is a coalition of organisations working to improve equality, diversity and inclusion within the science and health research sectors. Originally established by The Francis Crick Institute (The Crick), Wellcome Trust (Wellcome) and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), the British Science Association (BSA) has recently taken over the hosting of the coalition (from February 2026), working in partnership with the Crick, and funded by a seven-year grant from Wellcome.
The new Head of EDIS will provide strategic leadership for the EDIS programme, positioning EDIS as a trusted, influential voice and source of sector support on equity, diversity and inclusion across science and health research.
EDIS is a long-term programme with national reach. The Head of EDIS will be responsible for shaping and implementing the EDIS strategy in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring activities are valued by members and aligned with the coalition’s values and objectives and contributing to the long-term sustainability and evolution of the programme beyond the grant period. The role holder will lead a dedicated team, cultivate a culture of inclusivity, and champion the impact of EDIS across and beyond the coalition, ultimately supporting the advancement of equitable practices and opportunities in science and health.
Key responsibilities
Develop and deliver the EDIS strategy
- Review and update the EDIS strategy, working with key stakeholders, including developing an implementation plan, KPIs and a theory of change.
- Lead on engagement with EDIS members and prospective members, the EDIS Advisory Group, and senior external stakeholders including funders, policy makers and national bodies to shape and deliver the EDIS strategy.
- Oversee delivery of the EDIS strategy, reporting on progress and collecting, using and sharing evidence, evaluation and learning to shape priorities, activities and outputs.
Recruit, lead, support and champion the EDIS team
