The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and technically astute Project Manager to join our Projects team. This role will oversee projects that use artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to improve education access, equity, and outcomes across the three pillars of Theirworld’s work: Best Start in Life, A Safe Place to Learn, and Skills for the Future.

The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of innovative pilots, including projects that explore how AI and technology can equip children and youth with the competencies, digital fluency, and adaptive skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. You will manage local partnerships, steer experimentation, and ensure robust learning cycles that contribute to Theirworld’s pilot-to-scale strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who seeks greater depth of knowledge, impact-driven, and excited to shape how emerging technologies can accelerate educational equity in low-resource settings.

This role is for maternity cover but with the possibility of extension.

Main Responsibilities

Project Management

• Manage a diverse portfolio of education projects across Theirworld’s three pillars – Best Start in Life, A Safe Place to Learn, and Skills for the Future, with an emphasis on those leveraging AI and emerging technologies.

• Oversee programme planning, budgeting, delivery, reporting and learning for projects, ensuring milestones are met, partners are supported, and learnings are captured.

• Lead on the implementation of projects that apply digital or AI driven solutions to improve learning outcomes, particularly within the Skills for the Future pillar.

• Ensure all projects are inclusive and aligned with Theirworld’s cross-cutting vital areas: gender, inclusion, climate, health & nutrition, and peace & security.

AI for Future Skills

• Identify and manage projects that apply AI tools to build transferable, digital, and job-relevant skills for youth.

• Explore and test the potential of AI to personalise learning, support educators, and close skills gaps in marginalised communities.

• Ensure ethical, context sensitive, and inclusive use of AI in education projects, especially for girls, children with disabilities, and crisis-affected learners.

Partner Management and Grant Oversight

• Lead relationships with local delivery partners, edtech companies, and civil society organisations to co-deliver impactful projects.

• Draft and manage contracts and reporting templates; support partners with MEL frameworks aligned with pilot-to-scale goals.

• Conduct partner check-ins, manage grants, track spending, and ensure timely reporting and adaptive learning.

Learning and Contribution to Strategy

• Document and disseminate learnings and emerging insights on AI in education.

• Contribute to Theirworld’s knowledge assets and participate in knowledge sharing platforms and global convenings.

• Support scale strategies by contributing to replication toolkits and packages based on pilot results.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Theirworld, including development, campaigns, advocacy, communications, and research teams, to ensure alignment, maximise impact, and foster shared learning.

• Actively contribute to cross-organisational initiatives, helping integrate projects into wider strategic objectives.

• Engage with our Development and Fundraising team to identify and support the cultivation of potential funders and supporters for the project pipeline 

• Provide additional support to the Director of Programmes and other team members as required to ensure the smooth delivery of projects and organisational priorities.

Experience, Skills and Character

• 5 - 7 years of experience in education, edtech, or AI-for-development projects.

• Proven project management experience delivering initiatives in partnership with local organisations, NGOs, or tech providers.

• Strong understanding of education systems, future skills development, and how technology (especially AI) can support them.

• Confident managing project budgets, reporting cycles, and monitoring frameworks.

• Deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and ethical innovation in education.

Your role

Supervise the delivery of Eikon’s volunteer mentoring services to children and young people in allocated schools across Surrey. Supervise a team of Volunteer Mentors ensuring parity of our offer in Schools to Children and Young People. Ensuring the highest standards of case work, effective practice and safeguarding are maintained.  Providing regular review and assessment of caseloads, with guidance on how to progress provided to the team of Volunteer Mentors.

Responsibilities

· Plan, resource and oversee the delivery of the volunteer mentoring programme, to ensure that the service is offered to young people at the right time and that young people are at the heart of the programme.

· Develop and maintain key relationships within schools in Surrey to deliver the volunteer mentoring programme.

· To identify trends and gaps in provision, then work with Service Delivery Manager on ways to improve our Volunteer Mentoring service

· Supervise a team of volunteer mentors in line with Eikon's policies

· Induct, train and develop volunteer mentors, ensuring a high-quality service with safe and effective practice is delivered in accordance with all other best practice guidelines

· Work in collaboration with the Designated Safeguarding Manager and Service Delivery Manager to ensure all volunteers are competent to supervise safeguarding issues

· Support volunteer mentors with all safeguarding issues and liaise with the Designated Safeguarding Manager and Service Delivery Manager where appropriate.

· Understand and act when safeguarding issues need to be escalated, always following safeguarding and child protection procedures 

· Support volunteer mentors to ensure accurate recording of all individual engagements, ensuring supervisory review of notes, follow up action where appropriate and feedback provided as necessary

· Support volunteer mentors in ensuring outcomes and impact are agreed, reviewed and recorded for mentees using the Eikon Impact Measurement tool

· Ensure case management is undertaken to a high quality, including ensuring systematic case note review processes are followed, providing evidence of change and celebrating progress with CYP

· Ensure all data and information is uploaded onto all relevant databases

The Role

Theirworld is seeking a proactive and collaborative Manager to support the development, delivery, and learning of education projects and innovation initiatives.

This role will work closely with the Director of Programmes and the wider Projects team to support the design and coordination of pilot projects that test bold, locally driven ideas across Theirworld’s three core pillars: Best Start in Life, A Safe Place to Learn, and Skills for the Future.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in project management and delivery, innovation support, and strong coordination skills. They will work with diverse stakeholders, including community-based organisations, youth leaders, education NGOs, and policy makers to identify promising solutions, facilitate Theirworld’s accelerator programme, and gather insights to inform our broader strategy. Main Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead the planning and delivery of pilot innovative education projects, both internal and external, ensuring alignment with Theirworld’s strategic pillars and cross-cutting vital areas (gender, inclusion, climate, health & nutrition, peace & security).

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative ESOL consultant to join our team and lead on the curriculum development and delivery of our ESOL for Work courses. This role sits across our Education & Training and Research & Impact teams and offers a unique opportunity to shape future ESOL provision for people in low-paid work.

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) is a core strand of our community education offer. Each year, we support over 200 learners to improve their English, build confidence, and engage more fully in community life. Many of our learners face significant barriers to mainstream education, particularly those juggling low-paid, insecure employment. In 2023, in partnership with The Bell Foundation, we launched a three-year research and delivery programme focused on improving access to ESOL for people in work. The project aims to better understand the structural and practical barriers faced by working learners, and to codesign inclusive, flexible models of delivery that can influence and shape future ESOL provision across the UK.

Now in its second year, the programme is expanding. We are developing new partnerships with employers in sectors such as hospitality, construction, and health and social care, and growing our flexible ESOL-for-work pilot offers. Through these pilots, you will also play an essential role in helping us to generate new insights and learning about what works and why.

Having launched our new HR system (iTrent) last year, we are looking for a detail-oriented HR Administrator with a can-do attitude, good communication skills and a professional and friendly demeanour to maintain the system; in conjunction with a team of HR Administrators, this role will provide full administrative support to the HR team and give front-line advice on basic queries to staff and managers.

The ability to use your own initiative to identify and complete tasks and suggest improvements will make you an ideal candidate, as will your common sense and patience. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Supporting the HR Operations Lead and HR Systems and Operations Manager with updating and maintaining the HR system (iTrent), ensuring accurate and timely data entry by utilising effective and efficient systems and processes.
• Being the first point of contact for all HR related queries, via phone and email, advising managers and employees on basic queries and escalating more complex queries appropriately.
• Ensuring the HR Administration team’s regular processes are carried out within appropriate timescales and tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• To collate, administer and share relevant and accurate information for the monthly payroll process.
• To draft and issue accurate HR correspondence relating to the entire employee lifecycle, including leavers, contract changes, maternity, sickness and annual leave.

• Demonstrable experience of administrative procedures requiring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Competent using the full suite of Microsoft Office programmes to enhance efficiency in the undertaking of tasks.

About our team   

Like many jobs, you will work with lots of different teams in different contexts. With this role, you will have the benefit of being part of regionally focused team of 7 that is part of our wider movement.   

The successful candidate will be a part of our Central Region team of 7 workers who between us work across a region, from Suffolk to Gloucestershire, up to Shropshire, to Lincolnshire. JUSTICE is looking to recruit an interim Trust and Foundation Fundraiser to join our friendly, values-led team. This is a fixed term post for 15 months (maternity cover) and provides an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience of raising income from trusts and foundations. 

We are looking for an individual who has an interest in the purpose of the charity (to improve the UK justice system so that it is fair and within everyone’s reach), as well as a keen interest in taking responsibility for raising income from new and existing trusts and foundations and stewarding grants. This is an exciting time to join JUSTICE as we focus on a period of growth, looking to expand our reach out of London and internationally.  This role will really suit someone who enjoys identifying and then building relationships with funders, has great writing skills, has experience of securing five to six figure grants, is comfortable with a degree of autonomy and who thrives in this competitive fundraising environment. 

Around one-third of JUSTICE’s £1.5 million income currently comes from grants, with active partnerships including major funders. Sustaining and growing this income will require proactive research, strategic outreach, and a highly organised, detail-focused approach to both applications and stewardship. 

This role sits within an enthusiastic and supportive Development Team. The role works closely with the Director of Development and Policy Team, who are committed to leveraging their time and networks to support fundraising success, to put together engaging applications and grant reports. The post-holder will also collaborate with other fundraising colleagues, while enjoying a high level of autonomy in contributing to the long-term direction of JUSTICE’s Strategy.

JUSTICE is a law reform and human rights organisation, working to improve processes and policies to support everyone, particularly marginalised groups, be able to seek justice or a remedy when their rights have been breached or the law has been broken. We also seek to improve the justice system as a whole, ensuring that laws are clear and consistent and that the government and other key decisionmakers are held to account.

We are a founding member of The Justice Hub, which is situated next to St Paul’s Cathedral. in London. We also have staff based in other locations including in Manchester, Sheffield and Edinburgh. As a UK wide organisation, we are keen to support team members from all over the UK and this is a role that can be fulfilled in a hybrid way. Our London base has a number of hot desks dedicated to JUSTICE and access to meeting rooms and other spaces and we work alongside other like-minded charities in the justice sector as part of the Hub. 

All team members are expected to join the ‘in-person’ days in the office (roughly 5 days a year) but otherwise we encourage and support flexible working. Alongside flexible working conditions, every member of staff is entitled to 27 days annual leave plus an additional two days of leave to look after your wellbeing and to celebrate your birthday. We also close the office between 25 December and 1 January (inclusive), which is addition to the annual leave mentioned above. We review salaries according to inflationary changes on an annual basis, contribute 8% to your pension for the first 2yrs, rising to a 10.5% contribution thereafter and offer generous parental and dependency-related leave. As part of looking after your wellbeing, we also provide access to an Employee Assistance Programme.
