You will also work closely with colleagues in our Fundraising, Evidence and Impact, Finance and Operations and Communications teams as well as colleagues across the Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
This role has huge potential for an ambitious, energetic and self-starting professional to have a significant impact on the lives of patients and staff across the Trust’s hospitals and community sites.
You do not need established expertise in health; but the ability to learn and establish credibility quickly is important.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of grants, advising and guiding applicants and grant holders, with appropriate support from Funding Managers where needed.
- Manage questions and issues on grant or fund expenditure as escalated by the Funding Operations team, or delegated by the Funding Manager.
- Manage initial enquiries from Trust staff, responding to potential applicants and progressing ideas as agreed.
- Support the Business Manager to co-ordinate Committee meetings for all three Charities, including liaison with applicants and progressing meeting actions.
- Build strong relationships with the Fundraising and Communications teams, supporting robust information flow between the teams.
- Build strong relationships with grant holders, Special Purpose Fund holders and other Trust contacts, helping to raise the profile of our three Charities and spot opportunities to develop and fund work.
- Become familiar with the Charities’ Special Purpose Funds (SPFs), supporting annual requests for spending plans, coordinating approvals, and responding to queries from fundholders.
- Develop and manage a process to monitor fundraising income into SPFs and allocation of restricted donations.
- Work with the Trust Engagement Business Manager to design reporting that enables robust pipeline and grant management, and supports monitoring and evaluation.
- Support improvement projects as needed, such as improvements to funding schemes, funding operations or business systems.

The Associate Director of Policy & External Affairs is a highly influential role within the College as you will help advance our influencing activities to shape paediatric care, support the paediatric workforce and improve child health outcomes in the UK.
As Associate Director of Policy & External Affairs, you will take responsibility for developing policy and external affairs activity that builds the College’s reputation amongst its key audiences, including decision-makers in governments, parliaments, the NHS and other policy makers and shapers. You will also lead on the College’s four-nation policy and external affairs strategies, working with relevant teams, committees and working groups in line with the annual operational plan.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Membership, Policy & External Affairs, you will provide senior strategic direction and operational leadership for three reporting teams, setting a high standard of work outcomes and a proactive and supportive work culture.

Your role will be supporting the development of trustworthy, current, and effective information resources for health and social care professionals to empower them to better support and care for people living with and affected by MND and Kennedy's disease.
Your main responsibilities will include developing and revising information content, for health and social care professionals. From submission through to copy writing and production including design, launch, evaluation, and impact reporting.
Engaging stakeholders and ensuring the quality and accessibility of our resources will be an important part of your role. As a confident communicator, you will manage relationships, tendering and cost negotiation with third party preferred providers such as print houses and design agencies.
You'll maintain systems to track and store evidence for appropriate projects and manage the professional development and education webpages to ensure their integrity, currency, and accessibility.
In addition, you'll support the promotion of Association professional resources including the authorship of articles, monthly education newsletter. Your attention to detail will be key as you proof and edit content, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

We need our Service Delivery Manager to:

This role is hybrid. The successful applicant will be required to work at our Bradbury House location on 2 Fridays each month when we run our drop-in and hold operational meetings. The address is Mayfield Road, Huntingdon, PE29 1UL. In addition, the post holder will be required to attend in person on other days as needed, for example, our Men’s Group in Huntingdon on Wednesday mornings, our Women’s Group on Wednesday evenings, and new activities on other days and locations around Huntingdonshire, together with occasional evening and weekend working in the Huntingdon area.
The time commitment is 15 hours per week at the rate of £20 per hour. Our preference is for the post-holder to be a self employed contractor.
