The Chief Executive will be responsible for providing leadership, developing, and implementing Living Well Bromley’s strategic and operational plans, leading on partnership and business development, and being an effective advocate for the charity and its beneficiaries.

They will lead a senior management team of three (the Operations Manager, Funding and Communications Manager and Advocacy Manager).They will be responsible for ensuring financial control and supporting and advising on governance best practice across all aspects of the charity.

This post is a first-tier post directly reporting to the Board of Trustees. Ideally the post holder will have a Christian faith and be committed to core Christian values.

Our Job Retention team accept self-referrals from people whose mental health is impacting them at work and who have either support from Devon Partnership Trust IPS service or who have spoken with their GP about their mental health. We offer a service to people who live within the Torbay, Teignbridge, and the South Hams area. Devon Partnership Trust staff Devon wide can also access our confidential Job Retention Service.  You’ll need to be a proactive coach who is able to ensure that customers receive timely and efficient support that meets their individual needs.  You’ll need to have drive, determination and motivation to encourage and inspire and have a naturally creative and empathetic nature.

This is a pivotal role in supporting our clients, so our ideal candidate must be able to build strong relationships to bring clarity and understanding to offer practical advice and guidance to support and encourage.  You’ll need to be able demonstrate effective coaching and mentoring skills, have the ability to build rapport and engage with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.  We’re not looking for someone who ticks every box, just so long as you have an engaging personality, are comfortable working with a diverse group of people, and can provide a warm and welcoming experience to help our customers engage.

About the role

The London Library is looking for an Acquisitions and Discovery Assistant to assist in the acquisition and management of Library E-resources and print resources.

The role includes supporting the successful acquisition and seamless delivery of electronic resources to library users, utilising and maintaining relevant library systems and records; assisting purchasing decisions and supporting licensing, ordering and payment processes; verifying access, liaising with suppliers & Library IT, and ensuring correct metadata is presented to users; plus monitoring resource use and collecting data for the evaluation of subscriptions. There is potential to grow and develop the role, which will join our busy Acquisitions and Discovery team and assisting with administrative tasks associated with cataloguing along with supporting the Library’s internal Digitisation processes as required.

We are seeking a Payroll & Finance Administrator to assist the Executive Director: Finance and Resources with completing administration and payroll tasks to ensure a smooth running Finance Team.

You will administer aspects of donations and income, post donations received into our CRM system liaising with the Director of Fundraising, conduct Gift Aid claims, generate reports and utilise the CDS system to ensure all data is correctly entered and support given to all administrators.

You will administer the payroll and receipt system. Additionally, you will reconcile all costs, generate invoices and check that timesheets, holidays and absence are recorded correctly. This role requires you to work Monday to Friday but you must be willing to be flexible as and when required.

You must have a minimum of five A*-C GCSE passes, including Mathematics and English (or equivalent). Additionally, good IT skills, especially in Excel and administrative, recording and reporting skills are essential for this role.

Job Purpose: To support the CHS Alliance secretariat to ensure it delivers professional external events that meet the needs of our key audiences and advance our strategic goals, on time and within budget. Primary focus of this role will be the coordination and logistical management of the General Assembly in December 2024.

Background: The Events Coordinator role sits within the Network Engagement and Communications department and works closely with staff across the CHS Alliance, including those working on CHS outreach, HR/Governance and the Executive Director, on events organisation and delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

Event coordination

1. Coordinate the team and workplan to support smooth and timely delivery of key CHS Alliance events, with particular focus on the General Assembly (GA) taking place in Bangkok 5-6 December 2024.

2. Prepare and attend event working group meetings (e.g. set agenda, organise doodle polls, book conference rooms, take notes, etc.) 

3. Overseeing and updating the event workplan (e.g. gannt chart), flagging upcoming milestones and deadlines to event lead

Event logistics

4. Assist in identifying service providers by providing quotes and completing any other tasks requested by the line manager or event lead.

5. Procure supplies for event and ensure all material needed on site is prepared and up to date.

6. Follow up with the venues; liaise with the venue prior to, during and after the events.

7. Assist with all logistical aspects linked to catering, refreshments, room equipment (incl. audio visual), stationery, signs and identification (badges, etc.), and trip booking (hotels, flights, visa) where required, etc.

8. Set up events on relevant platform (e.g. Zoom, CHS Alliance website)

About the role 

We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Bid Manager who can actively craft commercial tender submissions and work with the team to ensure we submit high-quality, winning bids within UK government procurement rules.

You will sit in the Business and Strategy directorate and lead bid-writing across the organisation, line-managing a team of Bid Writers and working closely with other colleagues across Business Development, Marketing and Operations.

Sibling Arts C.I.C. co-creates multi-arts projects with queer, trans, sex worker & migrant communities. Looking for a Finance & Administration Officer (FAO to lead on our financial and administrative needs, and grow with us as we do more ambitious projects with social impact at their core.

Our current projects:

• Delivering trans/non-binary hxstory via storytelling to young people KS3 & teacher training

• Organising an Arts Action Fair connecting grassroots artists, frontline campaigns, NGOs, demonstrating how community ownership makes better art

We are looking for a skilled, dynamic and conscientious individual to lead on our financial and administrative needs, and work with us to grow our organisation.

You will be one of four core staff roles in the organisation. After the first year there may be space for role to develop and expand.

You will lead on financial management, working closely with Directors to develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy.

The role will also feature core administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth running of the organisation across contracting, insurance, monitoring equipment/assets and saving costs.

Financial Strategy and Management

• Co-creating and monitoring budgets, org-wide and for projects

• Monitoring multiple income streams inc. sales, grants, investments

• Overseeing compliance with HMRC including VAT, PAYE and accessing tax benefits such as Theatre Tax Relief (TTR) alongside our accountant.

Administration

• Compiling and digitising receipts and invoices

• Setting up staff and project producer expense accounts where necessary

• Liaising with banking and ensuring staff access to online and card payment

• Creating and using new reference administrative reference systems and filing systems.

Human Resources

• Communicating with our community members, artists and staff about invoicing requirements and payment details, mindful of individuals’ complex needs

• Overseeing setup and budgeting of employment benefits, bonuses, commission, freelance contracts and how to integrate these

• Overseeing creation of a platform for communicating financials transparently to our community of marginalised artists (longer term)

Funding Support

• Note: this is a support role as one of the Artistic Directors will spearhead new funding applications, you will not be applying independently

• Researching and identifying new funding streams, archiving applications, making templates

• Seeking advice from current funders and NGO partners about where to apply
