We are looking for an interventions and women’s centre coordinator to work with our Minerva team on the delivery of a service across Hampshire.
Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 pro-rata

Hours: 17.5 Hours per week

The project:
We are in the process of expanding our service beyond our London footprint to Bedfordshire, Essex, Hampshire, Hertfordshire and Kent, along with Thames Valley, providing one-to-one advocacy and specialist work including workshops and group activities delivered by Advance in partnership with voluntary organisations.
This role plays a critical part in creating, coordinating and delivering the group offering for women accessing our Commissioned Rehabilitative Services (CRS), as well as providing administration support across the region.
In short you will:
- Be the first point of contact for clients coming to the Women’s Centre; offering a warm welcome and trauma informed approach
- Ensure the client waiting area is kept tidy with up-to-date information/leaflets and supplies of refreshments
- Create structured sessions based on CRS support pathways and/or advance’s EDI strategy
- Deliver, facilitate and coordinate direct group delivery and events at the Women’s Centre and regional venues
- Hold a small caseload of women that are accessing the Women’s Centre and/or in the community in line with service delivery need – to include completing initial assessments where required
- Build relationships with external organisations and partners to support the delivery of structured sessions at the Women’s Centre and to signpost women for wrap around support where appropriate
- Assist in researching additional resources and events for service users; both within the Centre and across the region
- Contribute to creating and lead on updating the local Services Directory with details of local organisations, key contacts and details of services on offer, including eligibility criteria
- Assist the Service Manager in managing the smooth running of the Women’s Centre in your region, including managing the group workshops timetable, arranging meetings and booking external venues for client groups or training events
- Support administration for the Hampshire Minerva team
- Assist the Service Manager with the quality assurance and collation of data and information as required, including for funder reports.
About You:
To be successful as the Women’s Centre Coordinator you will need the below experience and skills:
- You are an excellent relationship builder who can warmly work with women
- You will have experience of creating, delivering and facilitating engaging group workshops
- You will bring experience of supporting vulnerable communities and have good working knowledge about safeguarding and risk management and bring an eagerness to learn and develop new skills
- You will deliver an exceptional first point of contact service, and contribute to creating a safe space for women in service

The Delivery Manager (Policy) is a vital role that will work closely with colleagues across the programme as we deliver ambitious nature conservation initiatives. · Coordinating engagement with governments and international organisations, focusing on signatories to the 2014 London Declaration and subsequent policy statements, including communications, updates, planning meetings.
· Supporting policymakers and the TRF team to develop strategic policy initiatives that are clear and implementable.

General responsibilities will include:

About the Role:
As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will provide pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic abuse through on-going risk assessment, providing individual safety planning, trauma-informed support, guidance, information, and advocacy and enabling victim/survivors to access the services they need in the aftermath of the abuse and trauma they have experienced.
You may work within a Hospital Trust's Safeguarding Team to support both patients and staff in an Acute Hospital setting, who have experienced Domestic Abuse. You will make initial contact with victims of domestic abuse, explaining our services and assessing the impact of crime, or receive referrals from colleagues, in order to provide on-going support and case management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess risks and needs using evidence-based checklists.
- Focus on high-risk cases with short to medium-term crisis intervention.
- Assist high-risk victims in accessing safety services.

As Deputy Supported Housing Manager, you will play a central role in our- supported accommodation for young people aged 16–25 who are at risk of homelessness. Our services operate 24/7 to provide a safe, stable home where young people can feel understood, encouraged and supported.
Across our East Sussex sites, we work with around 50 young people, each with their own story, strengths, challenges and ambitions. Support Workers hold individual caseloads and meet regularly with residents to build support plans, celebrate progress, and set meaningful goals for the future. In delivering the role, you will work closely with the Supported Housing Manager, while supporting the wider team to deliver consistent, compassionate support. You will be responsible for:
Service Provision: Supporting the Supported Housing Manager with the daily operations of the services so that they meet the requirements of the service specification including compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and Ofsted regulations. Oversee the residents’ referral, interview and induction processes for all beds and ensure the Occupancy Agreements and House Rules are fully understood. Ensure the quality of accommodation that is provided, liaising with the Housing and Property Services team to complete estate inspections and health and safety risk assessments, and to turn around voids and organise repairs in line with organisational targets and statutory obligations. With the Supported Housing Manager ensure effective income collection for all beds, working closely with the Rents team to create a rent payment culture.
Leadership and People Management: Directly line manage team members, ensuring their service delivery, working culture and personal development mirror best practice. Ensuring the team is adequately trained and empowered to work effectively and creatively with our young people to enable them to achieve their aspirations and ambitions, whilst ensuring they are supported within safe and consistent boundaries.
General: Be a member of the out of hours ‘on call’ rota to provide out of hours management support to projects in the wider locality. Reflect Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices.

Hi, I'm P and I am a 27-year-old man who currently lives in a supported living service in Newham. I have lived here for just over one year, and came to England with my mother from Poland in 2015.
I am a friendly and engaged man, but I speak very little English and communicate easiest in Polish so need someone who can support me with this and support me with learning some English. I do enjoy staying connected with my Polish heritage but would like support to socialise better with those around me. I have a very good relationship with my family, particularly my mother, brother, nieces and nephews, and usually spend the weekends with my mother at her home when I can.
I enjoy dancing and singing, and like watching Youtube to sing and dance along to the videos. I also attend the local learning zone for crafting classes, and enjoy games and other crafting activities. I also enjoy "man things" like sports and drinking coffee (decaf!) or going shopping and to the pub (where I enjoy non-alcoholic beer). It is important to me that I can live as independent and adult a life as possible.
My favourite foods are burgers, pizza and cola but I need to be supported and encouraged to keep healthy, and make healthy choices as well as maintain my environment - I may need prompting and support to engage in chores such as cleaning my room, doing my laundry, washing up etc.
I am looking for a proactive individual to support me with these daily living skills, building and maintaining relationships, keeping myself and my home safe but also to help me develop my skills to live more independently, to share my hobbies and interests and to explore new activities.
I am looking for someone who is a good and clear communicator, in both Polish and English, is assertive, has good IT skills and shares my enthusiasm for what interests me, like music, food and meaningful activities.

About this key role
You will be embedded in the trauma team, working closely with clinicians and hospital staff to provide support for young people admitted to the Major Trauma Centre right through to their discharge back into the community, including access to appropriate longer-term support. You will be expected to identify and provide a comprehensive and holistic assessment, advice, referral and support service to young victims of violence people, exploring innovative and effective ways of supporting them which will reduce their risk of re-victimisation.

We provide long-term, holistic support. We consider every aspect of a young person’s life and build support around them.
About the Mental Health Youth Work Service Pilot
The prevalence of reported mental health challenges in children and young people living in England have been increasing. In addition, research tells us that children and young people facing such challenges with their mental health are more likely to self-harm. For some children and young people, A&E Departments may be a first point of contact with healthcare services following self-harm. While in recent years the number of attendances by children and young people for mental health needs and/or self-harm have stabilised, there was a sharp increase in attendances following the pandemic. For children and young people who have gone to A&E for support with their mental health, such as following self-harm, waiting a long time in A&E can be hard. A&E Departments are often very busy and loud places and there is not always access to secluded space for those who have gone to A&E when experiencing difficulties with their mental health.
Children and young people who are also neurodiverse may find the environment particularly challenging and overstimulating while they are waiting to access care and support. This pilot aims to strengthen the offer of support to young people aged 11-18 in A&E, and also consider the wider social and emotional wellbeing needs of those individuals whilst in that environment and following discharge by ensuring there is follow up support for a variety of services.
The Mental Health Youth Work Service model has been informed by young people with experience of hospital attendances after self-harming, and their feedback has been used to shape the care we aim to deliver.
The service runs across two hospital sites in London: King’s College Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. There will be a team consisting of one Senior Youth Worker and a Youth Worker embedded in each site.
Job Description
Where you fit in
This is an exciting new service working in partnership with King’s College Hospital Accident and Emergency Department. The project is a pilot that aims to provide specialist Youth Work support for young people presenting to a hospital because of their mental health, and specifically where they attend because of self-harm.
The Senior Youth Worker will lead on the Mental Health Youth Work service embedded within the A&E department. This will involve line management responsibilities for the Mental Health Youth Worker, partnership working to build relationships both internally within the hospital and externally in the local community, and with both statutory and non-statutory partners.
The Senior Youth worker will be expected to support and build trusting relationships with young people who present with acute needs and are often in a crisis. They will manage a caseload of their own, with contact taking place both in the hospital and post-discharge in the community.
The Senior Youth Worker will ensure the integration of the service at their respective hospital A&E department, and work alongside the Team Leader in reporting, monitoring and evaluation requirements
Main Duties & Accountabilities
• Lead the delivery of the Mental Health Youth Work service for young people aged 11-18 who attend the A&E department. Ensure that all young people are assessed holistically and care plans are tailored, trauma-informed and empowering, with the aim of reducing further harm.
• Line manage the Mental Health Youth Worker, providing guidance and direction through regular contact and meetings, case allocation, caseload oversight and one-to-one supervision, both formally and informally.
• In collaboration with the other Senior Youth Worker, provide overall support to the team to develop and improve skills, including assessment and recording, to ensure that Redthread’s model of intervention is delivered consistently.
• Promote high levels of wellbeing for staff members who are working with young people who have experienced acute and chronic mental health challenges
• Hold a caseload and work with young people with often complex needs, in a range of settings, including in A&E, in the community, face-to-face and virtually where required, and promote their personal, educational, health and social development through all interactions
• Assist with the on-going development of the service model to ensure that young people and other stakeholders gain the maximum benefit from Redthread’s interventions
• Along with the team, tailor and design youth work resources that are specific to the young people we are working with
• Contribute to the training programme that Redthread provides for hospital staff, including informal microteaching and more formal presentations.
• With support from the Team Leader, maintain strong working relationships within the Hospital, and NHS staff ensuring that Redthread youth workers are fully embedded in the health setting and are working with clinical staff to deliver a service that meets the needs of young people, including promoting the service within the hospital and attending appropriate internal meetings
• Assist in building and maintaining strong working relationships with Redthread stakeholders, project partners and with other agencies working with young people and to represent Redthread at external meetings as required.
• Ensure that as a team, you are proactive in researching and networking with other organisations working with young people in the area served by the hospital to ensure that the Youth Workers have a good knowledge of other services and projects that may be of interest to the young people we work with or appropriate for us to refer to.
• Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings in hospital, working with ED staff and CAMHS teams to support and safeguard young people
• Maintain a good level of professional knowledge of the issues affecting young people, particularly related to their mental health needs and self harm.
• In all areas of the work, apply an in-depth understanding of safeguarding responsibilities when working with children and young people, and provide guidance to your team members that adheres to Redthread’s Safeguarding policy and procedures and safeguarding policies of respective NHS Trusts.
• Ensure information resources such as client forms, databases and contact files are kept fully up-to-date and secure, in line with GDPR, the Data Protection Act and our Confidentiality Policy and Consent Policy. Maintain high-quality recording of interventions with young people on our database, Salesforce, in line with Redthread’s best-practice requirements. (Training will be provided.)
• Collect and record evidence of project outcomes and young people’s achievements, to ensure the completion of monitoring forms and project progress reports as required.
• Work as part of a team to continue to develop the programme’s monitoring and evaluation in order to facilitate internal reflection and learning, and to demonstrate its effectiveness and impact to external stakeholders.
• To ensure that the Youth Worker accurately captures and records data on the CRM system. To ensure that it can be used to identify trends and provide insights. To use these insights and trends to shape service delivery and share information with partners.
• With support from the Team Leader and oversight from the Service Manager, produce monthly and quarterly reports as required by funders and to inform leaders of the operational performance of the organisation.

About the role:
The Domestic Abuse Caseworker will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. You will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women from aged 16. You will work across the three boroughs under the guidance of the Angelou Manager, and hold a caseload of survivors as well as working as part of Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support. You will hold a caseload of clients who are medium risk, advise on criminal justice and civil remedies, and coordinating the provision of multi-agency support.
About You:
To be successful as the Domestic Abuse Caseworker you will need the below experience and skills.
You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and their children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse sector. You will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. You will have the ability to work well within a team and responsibly on your own initiative, maintaining professional boundaries with clients and partner agencies.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose - working closely with Senior Managers, the post holder will support all aspects of business development and fundraising, including the development of bids, tender submissions and applications for funding to achieve the Association’s objectives. The postholder will also play an important role in supporting the mobilisation of projects and services following a successful application.
SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development and implementation of a Business Development Strategy incorporating grant funding, contracted provision and social enterprise development, which aligns with the Association’s Strategic and Development Plans.
- Support the development and implementation of an annual Fundraising Plan with ambitious income goals that underpin the Association’s strategic goals and accelerates revenue growth in a sustainable manner.
- Identify new funding / tender opportunities that are well targeted, informed and thoroughly researched in order to maximise the chances of success.
- Produce external funding bids, expressions of interest and support income generating activities including developing tender responses and social enterprises to meet the Association’s objectives.
- Submit bids, tenders and required information to funders within defined deadlines while meeting submission requirements.
- Support the development of business cases for establishing social enterprises and joint ventures that deliver local outcomes and diversify / strengthen the Association’s financial base.
- Work with colleagues to scope, develop, refine and improve services and activities through innovative tools and techniques including organising coproduction sessions with partners, stakeholders and residents.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, contract managers, grant officers and corporates etc.
- Create a business development/funding pipeline tracker – supporting colleagues to keep a track of tender and fundraising opportunities, the progress of each application, workload spikes and bottlenecks, clashes and deadlines; supporting managers and colleagues to ensure that all deadlines are met with maximum efficiency.

We will be more confident in speaking out the truth about poverty, through a renewed influencing, policy and research team, who will take our grassroots and collaborative work to highlight unjust structures on poverty, and shape an ecclesial, political and sociological response.
In this newly created role you will develop our work on influencing and telling the truth about poverty, this is one of two objectives for the charity. You will help build relationships of influence within the Church of England, Government and other decision makers to use our stories and impact to show the difference churches and faith groups can make in ending material and relational poverty. You will develop policy positions on areas of CUF’s work in relation to poverty that will give a firm basis for our work, and that we will be able to speak out on with confidence and knowledge based on connection to grassroots churches and organisations. You will develop a robust mechanism for reporting on impact, which goes beyond just evaluating our work but demonstrates the difference that faith based social action can make on ending poverty together.
This role will report to the CEO, but work across all of CUF’s teams and departments and will be responsible for the line management of the Listening and Learning Officer.

Job Title: Health Advocate Educator - Maternity Cover

Salary: £25,857.12 per annum

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Domestic Abuse Health Advocate Educator supporting women and children who are impacted by domestic violence. You will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic abuse at the highest risk and their children.
The Health Advocate Educator will support healthcare teams to identify domestic abuse at an early stage and ensure appropriate responses and referral pathways are offered to female, male and non-binary survivors of domestic violence and abuse. In addition, the post holder will directly support survivors of domestic abuse and hold their own case load.
The post holder will collaborate with the local ICB and Service Manager to strengthen connections with healthcare teams and create effective partnerships that support survivors.
This post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.
