We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM Officer to join our Fundraising team. Under the supervision of the CRM and Data Insight Manager and alongside two CRM Officers, you will manage the day-to-day functioning of the system. The role is responsible for producing complex mailing data selections, importing data into CRM via an ETL tool, supporting CRM development improvements for the Fundraising team, data cleansing and fundraising performance reporting.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri

Salary: £40,682.16 per annum

Job Purpose:

The CRM Officer plays a pivotal role, providing the day-to-day support needed to ensure there is a functioning CRM system for the Fundraising team.

Working under the supervision of the CRM and Data Insight Manager, the CRM Officer is responsible for managing regular data imports into CRM, providing data selections, reporting and performance analysis, system development, team training and running data cleansing routines. 

They are also responsible for developing and maintaining system user guides.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Considerable experience of CRM database systems, preferably in the non-for-profit sector.
• Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics and Power Automate is essential.
• Experience of using KingswaySoft or another ETL tool with good programming skills such as SQL.
• Experience of segmenting and building data selections for supporter communications.
• A systematic and organised approach with a proven ability to follow things through and meet regular deadlines.
• An excellent level of numeracy combined with accuracy and attention to detail around data processing.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Excel to an advanced level including the ability to produce and manipulate data to inform Fundraising activities.
• Experience of gathering data from various sources and producing reports.
• Confident interpersonal and negotiating skills with an ability to manage and build relationships with external suppliers, as well as with colleagues.
• Self-motivated, flexible and able to work without close supervision.
• Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload amid conflicting demands.
• Flexibility to take on other related tasks combined with willingness to learn.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Commitment to the aims and values of Médecins Sans Frontières.
• Experience in the practical use of personal IT equipment and Microsoft Office 365 suite. The ability to effectively collaborate and communicate within a hybrid working environment utilising Teams, SharePoint, One Drive and Yammer.

As our Security Engineer, you'll be at the frontline of our cyber defence, working closely with the Security Operations Manager to monitor, maintain and enhance our security tools and services. About You

IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. As testament to its’ success and in response to huge need, IKWRO has expanded and now provides unique and vital support for women and girls from all Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan (MENA) communities who are at risk of “honour” based violence, child marriage, forced marriage, female genital mutilation, domestic violence, sexual violence and other forms of gender violence.  

IKWRO provides direct services including advocacy and professional counselling. IKWRO opened the UK’s first specialist Middle Eastern women’s refuge. IKWRO is regularly called upon to share expertise with government, academics, and media and to train professionals from bodies such as the police, social services and schools.  

IKWRO has led the recognition of “honour” based abuse and “honour” killing as forms of violence against women and girls. Campaign successes include; the first extradition from Kurdistan-Iraq to the UK of perpetrators of “honour” killing of Banaz Mahmod, the UK’s criminalisation of forced marriage, child marriage, virginity testing and hymenoplasty, as well as the first ever national inspection of policing of “honour” based violence. 

This is an exciting time to join IKWRO with the opportunity to help shape and implement the organisations’ new campaigns and communications strategies.  

The Campaign and Communications Manager will work under the direction of the Executive Director of IKWRO and will be responsible for drafting and implementing IKWRO’s new campaign and communications strategy to achieve positive systemic legal and policy change, informed by the experiences of the women and girls that IKWRO represents. The post-holder will help Arabic speaking women who have experienced Forced Marriage, Female Genital Mutilation and “Honour” Based Violence. Working in a confidential setting, counsellors listen attentively to their clients and offer them the time, empathy and respect they need to express their own feelings, to help them overcome their problems and to make appropriate changes to their life.

The post holder must be BACP or UKCP accredited (or equivalent e.g. HCPC) or training to achieve these accreditation

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Establishing a relationship of trust and respect with clients;
• To undertake high quality direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory and evaluative) specialist psychological interventions; making autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice.
• Develops treatment and guidance methods and give guidance using a variety of therapy and counselling techniques;

· To formulate and implement plans of specialist psychological treatment or management of clients’ mental health problems based on an appropriate multi-factorial understanding of the client’s problems and current evidence-based best practice, taking into account the current NICE guidelines.

Key Responsibilities 

Spear Programme

• Lead group sessions of up to 10 young people, using coaching skills to transform their mindsets, and to maximise their potential in stepping into the world of work.
• Prepare and deliver coaching sessions on a weekly basis and find creative ways of developing ongoing relationships with Spear trainees. This includes running application workshops with past trainees as well as maintaining records and reporting on statistics. 

Relationship Management

• Build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, and other organisations.
• You will support with job fairs, mock interview days and welcoming external visitors to the centre.

Church Community

• The Assistant Coach is directly employed by River Church, though it is not a requirement of the role for the successful candidate to join River Church as their worshipping community if they are already part of another local church
• Help to raise the profile of the Spear programme within River Church and build a network of supporters and volunteers from the congregation.

This role will suit you if you are:

• An active Christian, able to personally represent the values and beliefs of Resurgo and River Church, Ipswich.
• Passion for social justice and for working as part of the church to transform communities, especially supporting young people in employment or education.
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills, both over telephone and face to face; particularly a confidence in group facilitation.

Leeds Citizens Advice & Law Centre has been providing free and independent advice for more than 80 years, offering access to justice for people experiencing disadvantage or discrimination. In November 2024, we joined the Law Centres Network and have secured funding to expand our legal advice service.

We’re looking for a Solicitor or CILEx to supervise our housing advice team and legal aid contract. The team offers complex casework and representation to clients facing possession, eviction, serious disrepair and housing issues related to DAV and to anti-social behaviour. You will have 3 years’ PQE in housing law and be able to manage a wide range of cases, as well as experience of working under a legal aid contract, supervising caseworkers, and meeting targets.

Key Responsibilities

Oversight of the Spear Programme

Spear Foundation is a 4-week initial phase, consisting of 2 group sessions plus a 1:1 with each trainee per week, in which we coach young people around skills and mindsets to support them in returning to work or education, and equip them with the skills to stay there. ​

• Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Assistant Coach.
• Oversee all aspects of the programme coordination and delivery.
• Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report to Resurgo and the church on enrolment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees, as well as their ongoing progress.

Partnership liaison and relationship management

• Build and implement a strategy for developing and maintaining relationships with local referral partners to build the profile of the Spear programme within Ipswich and ensure the young people who would benefit from the programme are able to access it.
• Steward relationships with young people after initial point of contact, to encourage enrolment and ensure a full cohort is enrolled for each programme.

Line management and training

• Manage the Spear Assistant Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development.
• Work with and be managed by River Church staff locally, and by a Church Partnerships Manager from Resurgo on a national level, to ensure the flourishing of the Spear centre, its team and young people, and to ensure the fulfilment of our shared mission in Ipswich.
• Work with and report to Resurgo teams on KPIs, and use outcomes data to maximise the effectiveness of the programme.

Supporting River Church’s mission and ministry

• Establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement of church members and to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme, though it is not a requirement of the role for the successful candidate to join River Church as their worshipping community if they are already part of another local church
• Work with the Head of Operations and the Fundraising Assistant to prepare grant funding applications for Spear Ipswich, and provide timely grant reporting.
• Keep the River Church congregation updated on the Spear programme to ensure it is a seamless part of the church’s missional work.

Job Title: Head of Maintenance and Estates

Location: Central Office based in Islington, N1 1TY (approx. 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station). The role is mixed hybrid including 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, including regular service visits to any of our sites. Flexibility will be required to attend visits, away days, and office working around the number of days listed. 

Salary: £46,900

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Housing, we are looking for a Head of Maintenance and Estates to lead on the effective delivery of an efficient and customer focused maintenance and estate service across our properties within SIG. Managing a small team, you will focus on management and leadership activities to empower staff to achieve high quality results in the service. You will take oversight of the Maintenance and Estates function, to ensure the smooth running of upkeep and repair operations, working with various teams internally and externally to build sustainable working relationships.

You will have overall responsibility for ensuring policies and processes are up to date and that the way the function is run has continuous improvement. You will lead with creating and implementing a strategic plan, supporting with short to medium to long term objectives. You will work to ensure properties and estates are kept safe, to required standards and lead the team towards achieving the SIG ‘Good Homes’ standard.

About you

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in managing similar repairs and estates services and who is able to lead a team to be empowered to provide a high-quality service. You will be able to to develop and implement maintenance plans, strategies, and procedures, and have confidence to take ownership of your department, making key decisions.

• Management and leadership experience, including with direct line of reports and indirect
• Experience in developing and implementing formal maintenance plans, strategies, and procedures with a key eye to detail
• Experience in directing and delivering customer service functions, ideally in a repairs and maintenance or cleaning context
• Experience in completing and managing risk assessments
• A recognised building services qualification and/or any of the following: NEBOSH, IOSH, Certificate in Occupational Heath and Safety, Legionella Awareness, Asbestos Duty Manager Training, Fire Safety Qualification
• Proactive approach to work, ability to use own initiative to resolve challenges
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Ability to balance competing priorities

That’s why we’re looking for an experienced Corporate Partnerships Manager, with exceptional communication skills to join our ambitious and friendly team.

It’s an exciting time to be joining Maggie’s, as we continue to open new centres across the UK. Over the last year we’ve brought on new partnerships with leading companies, such as Howden and Scotmid.

The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser is a key role in our fundraising team and has two key aims: 

• Driving significant income growth from corporate partnerships, by taking Maggie’s national partnership proposition to businesses to meet ambitious but achievable targets.  
• Delivering and growing key partnerships with support from the other members of the Corporate Partnerships and Centre Fundraising Teams. 

In order to achieve these aims, two other key elements of the job will be: 

• Supporting with the development and delivery of corporate collateral and engagement tools to steward existing partners and attract new ones – such as webinars and networking events.
• Supporting Centre Fundraisers to grow partnership income from companies of all sizes and will assist in the development of engagement initiatives to cultivate new and existing supporters – for example by leading on our Christmas Corporate Appeal. 

Although this is an office based role, a typical week will involve travel to corporate offices and other Maggie's locations.  There will be a requirement to work occasional irregular hours. 

We are loorking for a part-time administrator to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for a first job or for someone looking to return to work. You would be working within our membership services team and need to be computer literate using Microsoft Office (Word & Excel on a Windows PC) and ideally 9although not a deal breaker), experience in using an online database such as Civi-CRM. We will provide full support and training as needed. 

We need good verbal and wriitten communication skills as you will be public facing handling a range of telephone and email enquires. You'd be undertaking a range of administration roles and this would include dispatching goods from our online shop as well as dealing with new membership applications and services relevent to our members. We'd also love you to join our team at our annual conference assisting with administration, this is 3-4 nights away (all expenses paid) and so you need to be confident in presenting yourself and us on the registration desk and in other duties as necessary. 

We would require you, as a minimum, to work for some of your hours in our Ipswich based office but there is opportunity to work from home for some of your hours if that suits you. Alternatively, if you'd rather work at all times from our office thats fine as well.

Your starting salary is £25,526 pro rata and we provide a pension scheme. We provide a annual incremental rise (for 5-years recognising service and increasing knowledge) as well as any pay award as determined by our trustees. We have a generous AL allowance of 20-days (pro-rata) plus bank holidays as well as the 3-days off between Christmas and New Year when our office is closed.
