The Project Officer supports the effective delivery of HACT’s community-focused programmes, with a particular emphasis on operational coordination, partner engagement, and service administration. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, the role ensures that project activities—such as voucher distribution, data management, and partner communications—are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with organisational standards.
This role blends project management and client relationship management, requiring a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively, with a primary focus on ensuring HACT successfully delivers the objectives for the Fuel Fund programme. The postholder will act as a key point of contact for partners, manage administrative processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.
Job Purpose
To coordinate and administer the delivery of HACT’s community support projects, with a focus on the Fuel Fund and related initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate processing of partner requests and maintaining strong relationships with Housing Associations, Local Authorities, and other stakeholders. The Project Officer plays a vital role in ensuring that residents receive support efficiently via our partners, while contributing to the overall success and impact of HACT’s programmes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the general administration of the Fuel Fund
- Be the primary point of contact for all Fuel Fund queries (internal and external)
- Manage Expression of Interest requests from Housing Associations, local authorities and third sector organisations, ensuring they meet the qualifying criteria and terms of the Fund
- Manage voucher requests, ensuring they meet qualifying criteria, and issuing to referral partners across the UK
- Manage, and evolve as needed, quality control processes
- Manage collation of reporting data from Housing Associations and other referral partners
- Analyse multiple data sets and produce reports on the Fuel Fund for HACT and external stakeholders
- Provide updates to key HACT staff about distribution progress
- Feed informal and formal progress updates and reporting information to HACT Communications and Marketing colleagues, working with them to communicate project learning and opportunities
- Work closely with colleagues in the wider Communities team to support housing association engagement with HACT’s work and to support key team-wide activity such as the annual Community Investment conference
Required Skills
Essential
- Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
- Strong relationship management and collaboration skills, with an ability to engage, communicate and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at different levels.
- Experience of managing multi-partner/ stakeholder projects and knowledge of project management tools and methods.
- Excellent data analysis skills.
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrable track record of preparing and producing data analysis and reports.
- Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and work independently to drive projects through to completion.
- NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)
Desirable
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject.
- Experience working in a charity, social enterprise or local government supporting communities facing hardship
- Experience using organisation-wide CRM systems and utilizing these to manage personal data and project delivery
Job Accountabilities
Complete fuel fund and voucher allocations as per agreed timelines.
Ensure projects operate with a sufficient number of sector partners, for example the number of housing associations referring into the fuel fund.
Monitor and review project reach and impact, using this learning to shape any new methods of delivery, e.g. pilots with other sector partners to reach new audiences.
Collaborate with colleagues to communicate the project opportunities and learning at regular intervals, contributing to the wider thought leadership and collaboration objectives of the Communities team.
Maintain positive relationships with project funder(s), by sharing project data in line with agreements.
Ensure high quality delivery of the project, ensuring robust systems are in place to record activity and monitor compliance with the terms and conditions of the project, improving systems as needed, to support partner engagement and voucher redemption.
Coordinate and lead day to day communications with sector partners participating in the project and ensure feedback is collected and reviewed from project partners and beneficiaries.

The post holder for this role will be required to complete a basic Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
The Fuel Fund programme must have dedicated resource at all times during the working week (Monday Friday) and as such, annual leave needs to be coordinated with colleagues in the team to ensure the programme is sufficiently resourced throughout the year.

We’re looking for Project Workers to join our dedicated Hither Green team at Spring Gardens and Hilda House. This is a great opportunity to be part of a specialist, trauma-informed service supporting 68 highly vulnerable adults in Lewisham who have experienced homelessness and face multiple challenges including mental health issues, complex needs, substance use, and trauma.
In the role of Project Worker you will be joining our busy client focused service to:
- Use a person-centred approach to support clients in identifying and working towards their personal goals.
- Respond to incidents and crises as part of a team, prioritising safety and wellbeing.
- Provide practical and emotional support in a caring, approachable way.
- Contribute to a safe, high-quality accommodation service as part of a committed team.
- Maintain accurate records related to client support, housing management, and health & safety.
- Lead shifts on a rota basis, ensuring effective task delegation and smooth service delivery.
- Continue developing your skills to provide holistic, person-centred support, while deepening your understanding of housing and benefits law, and other specialist areas supported through training, supervision and line management.
Work on 8 weekly shift rota that includes early shifts 08:00-18:00, late shifts 13:00-22:30, weekends 08:00-20:30 and bank holidays. For this role staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

Purpose of the Post
To work as part of our Homeless Services Team, providing tailored support to asylum seekers and newly recognised refugees, helping them prepare for life in the UK, avoid crisis situations, and reduce the risk of homelessness and rough sleeping. The postholder will deliver one-to-one advice, guidance, and group information sessions within Greater Together Manchester’s Lifeskills programme, embedding support in trusted community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individual support to asylum seekers and new refugees, including:
	- Advice and guidance on housing, welfare benefits, health, employment, and education.
- Support with paperwork, applications, and referrals to statutory/voluntary services.
- Crisis prevention planning for those leaving asylum accommodation.
 
- Facilitate group information sessions at Lifeskills activities (e.g. football, workshops), covering:
	- Rights and responsibilities after gaining refugee status.
- Access to housing and homelessness prevention.
- Health and wellbeing, including GP registration.
- Financial literacy, banking, and benefits.
- Employment and education pathways.
 
- Build trust and positive relationships with participants, creating safe spaces for learning and support.
- Act as a link between participants and local statutory/voluntary organisations, strengthening pathways into services.
- Support individuals moved outside Manchester to connect with appropriate services in their new location.
- Maintain accurate records of support provided and outcomes achieved, in line with grant monitoring requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers, and external partners to strengthen Greater Together Manchester’s refugee and asylum seeker support offer.

Role Overview
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Property Department
Coordinator to provide high-level executive support to the Director of Property and coordination
across the department. This pivotal role will combine Executive Assistant responsibilities with
departmental coordination, ensuring the smooth running of operations, the effective flow of
information, and the delivery of accurate data and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
You will work closely with the Director of Property and two Heads of Function, whose specialist
teams manage the organisation’s diverse property portfolio. You will play a key role in preparing
materials for the Board of Trustees, coordinating the quarterly Property Committee, and
supporting departmental projects.
You will ensure timely flow of information and reporting between the team and stakeholders,
including SLT, Trustees and suppliers / contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Assistant to the Director of Property
- Manage the Director’s diary, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare agendas, take minutes of meetings, and follow up actions for key meetings.
- Draft correspondence, briefings, and presentations for the Director.
- Support the Director in tracking actions, deadlines and project progress.
Department Coordination
- Act as the central coordination point across the department, ensuring smooth communication between the Director, Heads of Functions, and their teams.
- Maintain departmental work plans, timelines, and trackers.
- Support tendering processes and analysis
- Manage the adminstration of the Charity’s insurance cover and policy
- Organise internal meetings, workshops, and away days.
- Collate and distribute key documents, ensuring version control and accessibility.
- Other tasks that may be reasonably requested, commensurate with the role.
Data Analysis and Presentation
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data from across the property portfolio.
- Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards, and visual presentations for departmental
 meetings and board submissions.
- Support the Director and Heads of Function in using data to inform decision-making and
 measure performance.
-  Collaborate with both the Head of IT and the Sustainability and Impact Lead, to develop
 the presentation of data for reporting purposes.
- Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and compliant with organisational policies.
 Board and Committee Support
- Coordinate quarterly Property Committee meetings: arrange logistics, prepare and
 circulate papers, and take accurate minutes.
- Work with the Director to prepare papers and reports for the Board of Trustees.
- Ensure all governance requirements are met in relation to committee administration.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
Essential:
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple
 priorities, working with various stakeholders.
- Experience as an executive assistant, project coordinator, or similar role.
- Confident in analysing data and presenting it in a clear, accessible format, and proficient
 in using data management systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, CRM.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and comfortable with
 digital collaboration tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to build strong working relationships.
Desirable:
- Experience in a property, facilities, or asset management context.
- Knowledge of governance processes in not-for-profit organisations.
