Salary: £27,000

About the Role
We're hiring a Recovery Worker to join our team based in Ealing. In this role, you will support adults experiencing loneliness, isolation, and mental health challenges and providing pathways, support, and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. Marron House has 18 bed spaces and we provide personalised support around daily living skills such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, reminders to take medication and developing a structured weekly routine.
As a Recovery Worker, you will identify individual resident needs, and provide person centred, tailored support to residents to help them overcome their personal challenges and achieve their goals. You will do this through a combination of producing tailored support plans, activities, and partnership working. You will support us continue to work in a trauma informed way, and create a psychologically informed environment, which supports us in creating a safe, respectful, and responsive environment which puts our people and communities at the forefront. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lone working is part of the role, but you’ll always have a supportive team around
- Support residents with taking their correct medication as required
- Keep support plans updated on our online portals as appropriate
- Initiate appropriate interventions to prevent crisis or other risks.

- Ensure all participants understand their rights and responsibilities.

- Previous professional or lived experience supporting people who suffer with Mental Health

Salary: £30,500 per annum

Key Responsibility: To provide administrative support across the Communities and Inclusion team.
We are seeking a Communities and Inclusion Assistant to support the Communities and Inclusion team at BES. The team works across a range of areas, including grants, membership, volunteering and education to engage with ecology in meaningful ways.
This is a new role within BES and a fantastic opportunity to engage with the world’s oldest ecological society. You will gain experience across multiple areas of the organisation’s work while playing a key administrative support role.
Responsibilities:
Community Groups
We support over 25 active community groups. The role will include:
- Administering the Community Groups inbox and acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries from current and prospective community groups.
- Supporting the BES Community Groups team in their work, including attending monthly meetings and providing meeting notes.
- Assisting community groups with recruitment to their committees.
Grants
We award over £500,000 in grant funding every year. The role will include
- Administering the Grants inbox.
- Supporting the administration of our grant portfolio, including collating of reviewer scores and EDI data monitoring via the grants database.
- Managing the in-house training and travel grant awarding process.
- Attend Grants committee meetings, taking minutes as required.
Membership
We have over 8000 members. The role will include
- Administering the Membership inbox and responding to members enquiries
- Updating and maintaining daily CRM tasks related to joining, renewals, cancellation requests and payment processes to ensure accurate membership data.
- Updating and maintaining accurate Membership KPI tracking.
- Attending Membership committee, taking minutes as required.

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Mentor to join our team based in RBKC to support our residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You will support in providing our residents with the support needed to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals in a person centred approach. You will work within a residential setting, creating a safe and comfortable space which our residents can call their homes during their time within the service.
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting residents with daily tasks who may be facing challenges with complex needs such as mental health, substance use, and offending backgrounds.
- Create tailored support plans through one to one sessions, group sessions, and multi agency meetings
- Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to their needs
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing, carrying out regular welfare checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies
- Encourage residents to take part in activities and events such as movie nights, cooking evenings, and games nights
- Keep support plans up to date on a regular basis
- Work closely with the rest of the team to provide overall excellent service delivery, this may mean also supporting with their caseloads, and other tasks as necessary

About You

About the role:
The Domestic Abuse Caseworker will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. You will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women from aged 16. You will work across the three boroughs under the guidance of the Angelou Manager, and hold a caseload of survivors as well as working as part of Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support. You will hold a caseload of clients who are medium risk, advise on criminal justice and civil remedies, and coordinating the provision of multi-agency support.
About You:
To be successful as the Domestic Abuse Caseworker you will need the below experience and skills.
You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and their children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse sector. You will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. You will have the ability to work well within a team and responsibly on your own initiative, maintaining professional boundaries with clients and partner agencies.

You’ll help create a safe, welcoming and well run environment, offering reassurance and practical support to residents when they need it most. This role is key to keeping our building, residents and service secure and responsive. You’ll do regular safety checks, monitor access, respond to emergencies, support residents with queries, keep records, and hand over to the team. You’ll also help maintain a clean and safe environment.
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring our buildings are safe by monitoring, completing welfare checks and responding affectively and appropriately to emergencies
- Maintaining professionalism and kindness with residents and visitors, attending to calls, managing deliveries and ensuring great communication with the team in line with policies and procedures.
- Provide a daily report on resident activity, AINMs, safeguarding and concerns for handovers.
- Working with the wider team to make sure any urgent issues are picked up and followed through
- Remain alert and monitor CCTV throughout the shift.

- Supporting residents to build confidence and independence, contributing to a psychologically informed space where everyone is treated with respect and dignity

Neotree is an award-winning digital learning health system co-designed with frontline clinicians to end preventable newborn deaths in low-resource settings. Our open-source platform integrates real-time, knowledge-based clinical decision support (CDS), structured data capture, and visual dashboards into routine neonatal care. Currently active in 18 healthcare facilities, Neotree has supported care for 60,000 newborns and trained over 3,000 health workers to date. Neotree: The Charity
The UK charity was established by core members of the University College London (UCL) Neotree research project to maximise the impact of their research on the quality of newborn care and newborn mortality. After five years of rapid growth and proven clinical impact, Neotree is seeking a visionary Executive Director to lead our next chapter. Having evolved from an innovative research pilot into a multi-country digital health intervention, integrated into routine neonatal care in Malawi and Zimbabwe, Neotree is poised for national-scale rollout and scale up, alongside rigorous ongoing monitoring and evaluation.
The Opportunity: Impact at Scale
By 2030 the ambition is for Neotree to be a fully integrated, sustainable standard of care across Malawi and Zimbabwe, having been handed over to, and owned by, their respective Ministries of Health. The incoming Executive Director will lead this transition, shifting the organisation from a research-led implementation partner to one able to scale up a digital public good (currently a DPGA Nominee with a full submission for DPG designation under review).
While the technological landscape, and specific delivery modules, will evolve, the Executive Director will ensure Neotree remains a safe, cost-effective, equitable, and evidence-based system that is successfully embedded within national digital health infrastructures.
The Executive Director's success will be measured collaboratively, focusing on KPIs related to impact and sustainability, and they will work alongside experienced clinical, technical, and academic leads.
Location: Remote within 2-3 hours of Central Africa Time (CAT), with approximately quarterly travel (including to Malawi, Zimbabwe and the UK).

Key Responsibilities
1. Operations, Clinical Safety & Quality Assurance
1.1. Senior Operational Oversight: Provide high-level oversight of Neotree’s operations across 18 healthcare facilities in Malawi and Zimbabwe, ensuring that the "baby-first" mission is consistently delivered on the ground.
1.2. Clinical Safety & Ethical Governance: Lead the overarching strategy for clinical safety and ethical compliance. Ensure the platform remains a safe and effective clinical tool, and that all operations comply with international data protection and health governance best practices.
1.3. Quality & Effectiveness: Oversee the continuous improvement and optimisation of the Neotree platform based on real-world feedback from frontline clinical staff, ensuring the system remains highly acceptable and trusted by healthcare professionals.
2. Management: People, Grants & Finance
2.1. International Team Leadership: Lead, oversee and inspire a multi-disciplinary, multi-country team (UK, Malawi, Zimbabwe, South Africa), fostering a culture of agility, collaboration, and excellence.

3.2. Board Development & Relations: Act as the primary link to the Board of Trustees, providing transparent reporting on risks, financial performance, and strategic progress. Work proactively with the Chair to strengthen the board, supporting its growth and ensuring its membership is representative of the diverse international contexts and communities Neotree serves.
3.3. Risk Management: Serve as the ultimate lead for organisational risk, identifying and mitigating risks to protect the charity’s reputation, clinical safety, and financial health.
3.4. Organisational & Innovation Governance: Responsible for the continuous review and implementation of all policies (HR, due diligence, safeguarding, clinical and data governance etc.). Ensure policies are legally compliant across international operations.
4. Strategy & Impact Scaling
4.1. Overall Strategy: Lead the development and execution of Neotree’s business model and strategy to scale impact globally, ensuring the sustainable growth and wider adoption of Neotree as a digital public good.
4.2. Evidence base: Work closely with Neotree’s academic team at University College London to identify and address evidence gaps, to support on Neotree research grants (e.g. NIHR, Gates Foundation), and to ensure academic insights are translated directly into clinical impact and national policy.
4.3. Tech Strategy & Interoperability: Lead the development and execution of Neotree's digital strategy. A key focus will be driving the roadmap for system interoperability to ensure Neotree is a future-proofed platform. This includes FHIR compatibility and integration with national systems, such as DHIS2 and national EHRs, to support seamless data exchange.
4.4. Fundraising Strategy: Design and deliver a diverse fundraising strategy that further moves the organisation toward financial resilience and reduced dependence on major academic grants.
4.5. Partnerships & External Relations: Serve as one of the primary ambassadors for Neotree, alongside our Principal Investigators and co-founder Professor Michelle Heys. Define priority stakeholders, and build and maintain relationships with those high-level strategic partners to drive adoption and raise Neotree’s profile.
Key Priorities for the First 12-18 Months
The new Executive Director will focus on the following key priorities during their initial 12-18 months:
1. Successful Project Delivery & Ministry of Health Partnerships. Ensure successful delivery of the projects currently in flight, in both Malawi and Zimbabwe. This includes partnerships with the Ministries of Health in both countries to build and hand over neonatal modules in their EHR systems based on Neotree, and support their successful rollout.
2. Strategic Plan Development. Develop a 3-5 year plan with the Board, academic partners, and wider project team to build on our existing foundation to expand Neotree – including addressing research gaps, using AI to improve clinical decision support, and finding ways to expand the adoption of the technology in Zimbabwe, Malawi, and beyond. Sustainability is a core part of that strategy.
3. Strategic Plan Execution. Execute on that plan, including securing funding, building partnerships, and further developing the Neotree team.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is seeking a permanent Chief Medical Advisor. This is an SCS2 grade role and an outstanding opportunity to work in the largest Civil Service Department that touches the lives of citizens the length and breadth of the UK.
This is a unique opportunity for a senior medical professional to provide expert advice to inform policy, legislation, and delivery decisions at the UK’s biggest public service department, where we administer the State Pension and a range of working age, disability and ill health benefits to around 20 million claimants and customers.
This role will be the Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) for Clinical Governance and Clinical Profession. The postholder will build strong relationships with senior leaders, including the Permanent Secretary, ministers, and external stakeholders, ensuring clinical advice is accurate and of the highest quality. The role requires strong team leadership, promoting an inclusive environment for clinicians to encourage development and growth while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
As the Department’s most senior medical professional, you will provide expert advice on clinical policy and clinical governance matters to DWP Ministers and senior leaders across DWP including the DWP Executive team. The role will also work closely with other clinical teams across government as well as external organisations such as regulatory bodies, external providers and charities.

As Chief Medical Advisor you will bring professional expertise to complex problems, influencing right at the heart of decision making. You will be a strong relationship builder, able to work effectively across a large and complex organisation, and operate as an inspiring leader.
This role has four major components:
- Leading a team of approximately 50 colleagues providing clinical advice across DWP, you will act as the Department’s expert on clinical policy matters and work with officials across the Department to ensure Ministers receive the highest quality advice on clinical policy.
- Provide the in-house clinical advice relating to disability, work, and health within DWP for Ministers and the Executive team.
- Operate as Head of Clinical Profession, where you will be responsible for training, appraisal, and revalidation of c.200 clinicians in DWP, ensuring they are in good standing with their regulatory body. There is also a dotted line of professional responsibility to 5,500 healthcare professionals within contracted provider organisations.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate their knowledge, experience and skills against the following essential criteria:
- Excellent strategic thinking skills, with the ability to understand both complex policy detail and high level, strategic connections across a broad portfolio and an outstanding eye for critical detail.

This is a rare opportunity for a dynamic, compassionate and person-centred Nurse Leader to deliver real impact for children and families.
In Scotland, three children die from a life-shortening condition every week. CHAS provides unwavering care for children who may die young, and their families. Our team includes Nurses, Doctors, AHPs, Social Workers and Family Support Specialists. They work across two children’s hospices, in community settings and in hospitals in deep partnership with NHS staff.
We are seeking a Chief Nurse to lead the delivery of our nursing services across all these settings. Reporting to the Director of Nursing and Family Support, you will lead a team of approximately 180 nursing staff working in all parts of Scotland.
You will inspire Nurses to deliver exceptional care every day. You will work closely and collaboratively with NHS Boards, HSCP’s and other organisations to plan seamless wrap-around care, which helps some of the most vulnerable families in Scotland.
Following a planned retirement and organisational restructure, this is a new role in a new structure. It offers a chance to join CHAS in a senior nursing role, set to shape the future of paediatric palliative care across Scotland.

JOB PURPOSE
The NNS Networker will support the delivery of the Neighbourhood Network Scheme in Erdington by linking older people and younger adults (18–49) with additional needs to services and opportunities. The role will involve mapping community assets, building partnerships, delivering capacity-building activities, and evaluating impact. Working closely with Compass Support and other stakeholders, the Networker will help ensure joined-up care, stronger communities, and better outcomes for local residents.
Some Key Responsibilities
· Map and maintain a community asset register to support residents and social care teams.
· Engage and support local community groups, carers, and residents to build capacity and strengthen provision.
· Promote and assist with the administration of small grants to local community organisations.
· Coordinate and deliver events, workshops, and training sessions that promote health, wellbeing, and community connections.
· Support the use of public health impact measures and contribute to monitoring and reporting outcomes.
· Represent Erdington NNS at local and citywide forums, networks, and cross-sector meetings.
· Collaborate with Compass Support, statutory services, and community partners to ensure joined-up support.
· Promote the values, policies, and standards of Witton Lodge Community Association at all times.
· Undertake other duties that support the effective delivery of the Scheme.

We are looking for a resilient and dedicated person to join our Avon & Somerset team as an Adolescent and Child to Parent (APV/CPV) Violence Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA), working within the VS team as part of the Avon & Somerset Victim Service partnership.
The service provides support across the whole geography of Avon & Somerset. This role involves making initial contact with victims of adolescent and child to parent violence and providing initial support in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. The role is part-time and is hybrid between our Bristol office and home working. A suitable and confidential workspace at home is therefore required.

About the Role:
You will provide high quality support to all victims of APV/CPV, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also provide cover for the local VS Helpline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess the risks and needs of APV/CPV victims using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
- Focus on and prioritise high risk cases and provide a pro-active, short to medium term crisis intervention service. Deliver individually appropriate tailored support and information, advocacy, and practical support.
- Work with victims of APV/CPV to assist them in accessing services to keep them and their family safe. Develop individual safety plans to meet client's needs as identified in the risks and needs assessment.
- Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions.
- Work within the legal framework relating to the protection of children and vulnerable adults, including the policy and procedures of the Local Safeguarding Adult and Children's Boards.
- Providing advocacy and information to victims including exploration of legal and civil options, housing, health and finance and support clients through the criminal justice system.
- Support the empowerment of the client.
- Comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality and information sharing policy and procedures, as well as all legislation connected to your work.
About you:
You will need:
- A good command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
- A good understanding of APV/CPV and/or domestic abuse including the impact of these on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children.
- Understand Safeguarding issues and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues
- Direct service delivery experience to victims of domestic abuse or APV/CPV
- Experience of working within a multi-agency and legislative framework
- Experience of managing a complex caseload, to prioritise work and deal with competing demands
- Strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations
- Excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals
- An IDVA qualification or willingness to work towards this
