The Role
We are looking for a talented Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to support the fundraising team by generating income, maximising opportunities and building relationships. Duties will include:
· Working collaboratively with colleagues to complete the Founder Patron campaign for Barnsley
· Maintaining, developing and leveraging relationships with Youth Zone supporters to drive peer-to-peer fundraising
· Organising suitable bespoke events and activities to cultivate relationships with potential supporters
· Achieving defined fundraising targets and KPIs

We are recruiting for a temporary Part time Appeal Manager for a high profile social welfare charity. The Role
With support from your Regional Appeal Manager, produce an income and expenditure budget for your area.
Provide accurate and timely monthly commentary to your manager.
Identity, plan and monitor progress of key activity (in the regional fundraising plan) to deliver the income and expenditure set out in the budget/reforecast.
Manage the activity of a range of local supporters and partners ( Appeal Organisers, other volunteers, regional corporates, and organisations) in order to achieve income budget/forecast.
Manage an agreed number of relationships across your area, ensuring that your supporters have the tools, resources, and support necessary to maximise their fundraising activity.
Develop and support a portfolio of regional corporate partnerships.
Work with key internal partners (membership, operations, PR, etc) at the local level to achieve the above.
Recruit and induct new Appeal Organisers
Ensure that AO have appropriate tools and resources to maximise the impact of the appeal, and that these are proportionate to the activity taking place and income raised.
The Candidate
Good commercial knowledge to ensure suitable ROI in both investment and effort.
Evidence of financial management skills; set and deliver income targets of up to 800,000.
Takes ownership of planning income/expenditure budget and responsible for supplying monthly commentary to manager.
Experience of creating and managing great supporter relationships with volunteers to deliver agreed objectives and income targets

We’re working with OnSide to find a Philanthropy Manager for their new Vault Youth Zone in Preston, currently under construction. Onside funds and builds state-of-the-art youth centres across the country, and the Preston Youth Zone will be their 23rd such centre. The Philanthropy Manager will initially work with OnSide to secure and build relationships with 32 Founder Patrons to fund the first four years of the centre’s operation
You will work closely with the Senior Philanthropy Manager to raise £1.4 million in the Founder Patron programme, then work with the Preston Youth Zone team to diversify their income with new patrons and partners. Based at Bovington Camp, the home of the tank, the Museum boasts the most comprehensive collection of armoured fighting vehicles in the world, representing every major conflict since the First World War, the Museum, which attracts over 200,000 visitors a year, also host the annual event, TANKFEST, as well as displaying a strong supporting collection of medals, photographs, film, sound recordings, fine art, books, weapons, models and memorabilia. The entire collection of this Accredited Museum is “Designated” as being of outstanding national importance – a testament to its uniqueness, quality and the expertise of those who care for it.
Highly regarded in the arts and culture sector across the globe, The Tank Museum’s marketing team are responsible for the promotion of The Tank Museum, working on and offline to raise public awareness of the museum, its collections, exhibitions, events, membership schemes, and other revenue raising functions. They are ambitious, productive, creative and analytical in approach to problem solving.
In this newly created role, the Membership Fundraiser will expand the public fundraising function of the Museum, integrating and developing existing schemes whilst identifying and undertaking new projects to raise funds in support the charitable objectives of the Museum, including engaging their existing and sizeable international online audiences.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working in a fundraising or in a membership role (recruitment/retention), with knowledge of processes and practices.
- Experience of handling data and using a CRM system.
- Experience of working to targets.
- Knowledge of the fundraising landscape in the UK.
You will be an instinctive, enthusiastic and collaborative team player, showing curiosity and creativity. With the ability to handle pressure and react positively to shifting priorities and demands, you will be highly organised with excellent time management and interpersonal skills. We are seeking a new Senior Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager. This is an exciting and essential role that will help raise awareness of Canine Partners and boost income from a variety of high-value corporate and community sources. We are looking for someone with a friendly and proactive approach to be a key driver in growing their corporate partnerships portfolio. Leading a small team, you will focus on nurturing existing high-value relationships and creating new ones that will enable Canine Partners to expand the work they do.

The Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation is an independent foundation that has been investing in a healthier society for more than 500 years. This role will be responsible for driving fundraising performance to raise income for the Foundation’s three hospital charities - Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity, Guy’s Cancer Charity and Evelina London Children’s Charity – to enable one of the largest NHS trusts in the country to continue its vital work.
This role will be critical for the delivery of an exciting and ambitious growth strategy for the Foundation and the Trust, to maximise fundraising capabilities and match those with the Trust’s long-term ambitions for healthcare and more equitable health. The role will work closely with the Executive Director of Charities and sits on the Senior Leadership team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering sustained fundraising income growth across multiple channels and of leading a fundraising operation within an NHS, charity, clinical, medical research or higher education organisation. They will have strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate high performing teams coupled with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and the credibility and confidence to interact with influential people at the highest levels in order to leverage support.
Candidates must be team players with approachability, sensitivity and tact, able to build collaborative and effective relationships both internally and externally. Finally, they will share the Charities collective mission to support Guy’s and St Thomas’ deliver better, fairer and faster healthcare for all - beyond what the NHS can provide.
