Share is a registered charity and a centre for training and wellbeing. We provide a range of programmes helping adults with learning disabilities, autism and other support needs become more happy, healthy and independent. You’ll support and supervise students during their lunch break and create a schedule of lunchtime activities. As part of your role, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the Share learning space.  

Main responsibilities 

• You’ll oversee the overall management of the dining area and support students during their lunch break 
• You’ll be responsible for planning, using ideas from students, a schedule of lunchtime activities for students  
• You’ll support students to learn and encourage them in activities which will assist the development of skills and experience 
• You’ll be responsible for cleaning the Share learning spaces – the kitchen, office and training areas to a high standard daily

Creative Learning and Participation is at the heart of Modern Art Oxford’s programme.  We offer educational experiences for visitors of all ages, using art and creativity to reach thousands of people from Oxfordshire and beyond every year.

The Producer, Young People & Schools is a 2.5 day part-time fixed term role (August 2024 - August 2025) responsible for the planning, delivery, development and evaluation of Modern Art Oxford’s programme offer for young people and school groups. The position forms part of the Communities, Practice & Participation team (CPP) and is managed by the Head of Communities, Practice and Participation (CPP) at Modern Art Oxford (MAO).

Person Specification

We are looking for an arts professional (artist, curator, educator) with strong interest in creative socially-engaged practice and with a minimum of three years’ experience devising and delivering early year’s projects, working with young people from all backgrounds.  This role requires a highly proactive team worker who demonstrates the importance of effective, consistent communication in a dynamic organisation delivering a range of engagement activities.  It is imperative that the position holder is astute in observing safeguarding practices for all workshop participants in accordance with Safeguarding and Health & Safety policy, which includes risk assessments ahead of workshops.

Purpose of Post

This is an exciting time to join our innovative carers service. We are in a position to grow the current support offered and develop other ways of supporting carers across Hertfordshire.

The Carers Coordinator is an integral role within Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) and to the future development of the service. Using the ethos and values of peer support, the post holder will support carers in an empathetic, safe, respectful and empowering way; using their lived experience to bring hope.

Key Responsibilities

• To recruit, train and support a team of volunteers to provide 1-1 support and group support
• Arrange regular 1-1 and group support via Teams for volunteers
• To work within the model of peer support to help unpaid carers to discuss common experiences and to establish and maintain relationships built on trust
• To work with the Service Manager to assist in the planning, organisation and development of the Carers service
• To work closely with the Volunteer Team around the volunteer recruitment process and Volunteer Selection Training
• Ensure volunteers are aware of all training opportunities
• Attend training, supervision sessions and appraisals as required
• Act as a positive role model for unpaid carers

Working Well is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health, learning disabilities, neurodiversity, and/or complex issues through training and employment.

We are recruiting a full-time and a part time Employment Support Worker for our supported employment team in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. These are permanent roles. The post holder will carry a caseload of clients who may have one or more support needs including:

• Learning Disabilities

• Autism 

• Mental Health

The focus of the role is to support clients to achieve their employment goals, engaging with employers and training providers to secure vocational outcomes in line with client preferences.

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our commitment to supporting people to find the right job for them. Experience working with individuals affected by learning disabilities and autism would be beneficial. The successful candidate must be comfortable in approaching employers, persuading them to use our service, and working with them to recruit our clients to fill vacancies and sustain employment.

You will work closely with referring teams, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led.  You will also be in working to targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service. 

We are operating a hybrid working model in our Kingston team, with a combination of working from home and in the community with a required 3 days per week spent in our Kingston office.

About the Service

This is a pilot working as a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) with housing teams and Drug and Alcohol Services across District and Borough councils. These teams will be working with individuals who are presenting as homeless and have a number of Complex Needs.

Purpose of Post

Providing advice, information, onward referral and holistic support to clients who are experiencing mental ill health or need support with their mental wellbeing. These will be clients who are presenting to District and Borough councils as homeless and need intervention and support with their mental health and remain a source of independent support for all clients. Ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly and that a person centred recovery orientated and trauma informed approach is embedded approach in all aspects of the roles.

Service Objectives

• To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental ill health.
• To increase early access to help for people experiencing mental ill health in, by providing a clear and effective pathway to services provided by Herts Mind Network and other third sector and statutory providers.
• To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
• To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
• To reduce the use of police, ASB, tenancy enforcement, housing needs and environmental health services by clients whose primary need is related to mental ill health.
• To reduce the use of crisis services by people experiencing mental ill health without positive outcomes for the individual.
• To provide an assertive outreach approach for clients who are in crisis and/ or those that may have complex or multiple needs.
• To work collaboratively within an MDT consisting of CGL, District and Borough councils, housing teams and other professionals.

We have been part of the wider Debt Free Advice partnership for over a decade and have success in delivering high quality debt advice to local residents who are facing financial difficulties. The demand for the service in light of the cost of living crisis has increased substantially over recent years and we are looking to expand our team.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Debt Adviser who has a proven track record in helping and assisting clients facing financial difficulties and providing creative solutions to help alleviate their challenges in a sensitive and supportive role. They will have an awareness of having successfully provided debt advice in a regulated environment. They will have experience of supporting and supervising a team, and monitoring their performance to ensure this remains in line with internal and external requirements.

The successful candidate would be expected to work a hybrid model of delivery - in an office environment, outreach sessions as well as home based. They would be expected to provide advice via omni-channels such as face to face, telephone and email advice. 

Main Responsibilities:

● Provide casework covering the full range of debt - Interviewing those that access our service using sensitive listening and questioning skills in order to allow them to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities.

● Researching and exploring options and implications so that those accessing our service can make informed decisions

● Ensuring income maximisation through the appropriate take up of income, including those relating to water charges, benefits, tax and housing

● Providing in-depth quality advice and on-going casework, including acting for the client where necessary using appropriate communication skills and channels

● Maintaining detailed case records, ensuring that all work meets all auditing and quality standards and the requirements of the funder
