My client is awarding & assessment organisation who is looking for someone to lead the people & culture team. You will be responsible for making a really difference for all staff across the organisations.
We are currently recruiting for a People and Culture Manager. This is permanent position working 36.5 hours per week.
The role will be mix of home working as well as working from the clients office in Derby 2 days per week. There will also be some travel to Wolverhampton on occasions.
You will be an experienced HR manager who is ideally CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified.
Paying £33,075 - £41,895 per annum depending on skills and experience.
Role
- To collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team on the strategic people plan.
- Leading and advise the Executive Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team on employment law, employee relations and up to date employment trends.
- Be responsible for the employee lifecycle in line with employment legislation.
- Manage people & culture teams effectively.
- Supporting line mangers with all HR related queries
- Deliver the organisation's strategic plan.
- Formulating and delivering people plans at an operational level
- Lead the direction on recruitment, to ensure organisational recruitment needs are met.
- Ensuring policies and processes at each area of the employee life cycle are compliant with UK employment legislation, including recruitment, onboarding, probationary, pay and reward.
- Ensure line managers are effectively briefed on any relevant changes to employment law and group policies and procedures.
- Managing the employee relations workload effectively including leading on more complex and challenging employee relations cases.
- Create and deliver training to managers on managing people in line with the group's people polices.
- Leading on the performance management continuous review cycle, ensuring that the pay review process is fit for purpose and competitive.
- Reviewing internal HR policies and leading on continuous improvements and recommendations to maintain compliance.

We are looking for a People Policy & Engagement Partner to join the National Theatre People Team.
The purpose of the role
The People Team provide advice, guidance and support to all National Theatre staff, line managers and senior leaders on people policies; terms and conditions of employment; recruitment and selection; performance management; staff engagement; diversity and inclusion; trade union and employee relations; discipline, grievance, and capability processes; and training and career development. We pride ourselves on providing a customer-focused, flexible, and agile service and aim to support and facilitate an open and inclusive culture where all staff can thrive.
The successful applicant for this role will lead on the development and review of employment policies, undertaking benchmarking and researching best practice to ensure the NT has a full range of accessible and inclusive policies. They will analyse and interpret business intelligence and workforce data to inform policy development and decision making whilst working with colleagues to develop guidance and training for managers and act as the department’s central advisory expertise. They will also lead on work related to the NT’s pay framework and policy and manage engagement surveys, developing routine reporting and analysis.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Experience across a range of People functions that demonstrates an ability to work autonomously across a range of functions, including generalist, policy development, reward and interpreting terms and conditions.
- Experience of analysing and presenting information both written and verbally in informal and formal settings.
- Experience of working with information, databases and ability to interrogate and analyse data.
- Experience of working in a flexible and pragmatic way to problem-solving. Able to seek and exploit opportunities to advance objectives.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively orally, digitally and in writing adapting the message for a diverse audience in an inclusive and accessible way.
- Experience of managing multiple stakeholders, with the ability to build strong collaborative working relationships.

The successful post holder will be responsible for the safe and effective provision of comprehensive HR services for the Charity and develop highly effective relationships within designated areas, maintaining a real understanding of their challenges
Job Responsibilities:
· Contribute fully to the development and implementation of operational and strategic decisions to achieve objectives
· Responsible for advising and supporting managers on delivering effective human resource management and for ensuring that best HR practice is delivered at all times
· To lead on recruitment and selection process, including advising appointing managers on current recruitment legislation and organisational processes and procedures.
· To develop and deliver training and development interventions linked to identified needs
· To line manage the HR Administrator and HR Assistant roles
· Leading meetings involving highly complex sensitive information, presenting and analysing complex information such as grievances, disciplinary, welfare issues, investigation meetings, absence management and capability
· Be the lead HR person for Training and Development including organising Study Leave Committee meetings
Person Specification:
· Degree level qualification or equivalent experience or Level 7 Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
· Significant relevant experience in Human Resources in a generalist role
· Experience working in the non-profit sector
· Demonstrated experience in a Healthcare environment
· Proficient use of HRIS to aid analysis of data and presentation of information
· Ability to assess risks appropriately and develop pragmatic solutions to mitigate the risk
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
