Alzheimer’s Society, the UKs leading dementia charity is looking for a Technology Business Partner who will be crucial in bridging the gap between technology and other directorates across the Society.
You will be responsible for driving the technology strategy, fostering relationships, and ensuring alignment between IT solutions and business needs within assigned business areas. You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements to deliver effective solutions.
Reporting to the Business Engagement Manager within the IT department, you will be instrumental in providing an enthusiastic, user focused approach, utilising excellent communication and influencing skills to manage the relationships within a given business area.
The role will play a significant part in the development and delivery of the technology business partnering approach for the Society. Engaging across the Society to support the organisational strategy and ensuring strategic alignment between the technology function and the given business area, so that the organisation can achieve its objectives assisted by technology.

Data Engineer
£42,000-£45,000 (dependent on skills and experience) plus generous benefits

We are the Football Foundation - the Premier League, the FA and government’s charity that delivers outstanding grassroots facilities, more and better places to play, transforming lives and communities where it is needed most.
To help us with this important mission, we currently have vacancies for a Data Engineer to work within the Data & Insight team. This key role will help the Foundation develop its Data Warehouse environment by integrating various data sets efficiently, cleaning the data and optimising query performance to enable deeper and more meaningful analysis. In addition, this role will also be a key contact with funding partners to maintain effective data sharing between them.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer with experience working in a similar role to demonstrate their knowledge and expertise and make a difference in how grassroots community football analyses data.

What can we offer you?
The salary band for this role is £42,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.
You will start on 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases after 2 years), plus additional time off to volunteer. About the Team:
The WaterAid IT team is customer-facing with a remit for front-line service operations, cyber security, technology change and project delivery, in addition to the development and support of IT infrastructure and application services running across our global organisation. The team also has direct responsibility for 250+ staff working in the UK and provides services and support for WaterAid staff across 20+ countries.
About the Role:
- Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities whilst creating a sense of teamwork by pulling together colleagues with differing skillsets and expertise.
- Implement processes for tracking procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of all IT assets including hardware, software, and licenses. This will require collaboration with our managed service provider.
- Act as the ITSM tool global administrator, assisting country program offices with maintenance, support, access, development of processes & training.
- Develop, update, and enforce IT policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and organisational goals.
- Manage the IT departments hub on the internal intranet platform, ensuring that it provides up-to-date information, news, and resources to employees.
- Oversee the transition of completed IT projects from the internal IT operations team, with potential collaboration from 3rd parties to the MSP service delivery team.
- Collaborate with the finance department to code, integrate, and maintain IT-related financial transactions in the organisation's financial systems ensuring accurate allocation of costs, budgets, and expenses related to IT operations.
- Provide oversight and leadership to the Global IT Operations team to ensure a high-quality service is delivered that meets the needs of the stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain a centralised knowledge base repository containing technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, best practices, and user manuals.

About You:
- Proven experience in IT Service Management.

Cyber Security Engineer
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join a leading NFP client based in London, with a hybrid working policy of 1 day a week in their Canary Wharf offices. This is a great opportunity to join a growing cyber security function to protect their systems and data.
