What you will do:
- Lead the strategic development of the IT function.
- Provide leadership to the IT team, galvanising them around the goals.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our internal IT and systems infrastructure to advise on business needs.
- Lead and develop the RCR’s programme and change boards to maintain effective oversight of changes to IT applications and digital services.
- Ensure the IT team delivers excellent customer service.
- Create and maintain effective IT Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans that ensure the RCR can respond to challenges.
- Develop, agree and manage the IT revenue and capital expenditure budgets.

The role of Operations Manager sits within the Management Team.
The Role
The role of Operations Manager is critical to the long-term sustainability of the charity and plays a pivotal part in ensuring that we remain both relevant and necessary.
This role involves:
- Oversight and responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of guest services
- Line management and HR responsibility for the operational team
- Oversight and responsibility for health and safety organisation-wide

Person Specification:
Essential Requirements:
- Strong HR background in terms of leading others and managing HR matters/employee relations
- Demonstrable experience of working to targets and delivering quality outputs collaboratively with others
- Confident and sophisticated communicator
- Strong customer/supporter focus, with excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced customer focused environment
- Financial and business acumen – ability to draft budgets, report on variances and interpret financial data
- Strong report writing skills
- Knowledge and experience of facilities management and health and safety, including food hygiene, risk assessments and policy writing
- Confident and proficient in the use of IT systems as a user admin/super-user level
- Highly motivated, with a strong work ethic
- A team player, happy working within a ‘flat’ hierarchy

- An undergraduate degree or professional qualification in a relevant field

We're looking for an IT Project Manager to join our Data and IT team. The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of assigned IT projects within the charity. You'll be responsible for managing the project team, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and meet quality standards. You'll serve as a liaison between various stakeholders, including clients, internal teams and vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. You'll also identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.

Governance

Office and IT Support
·Organise regular face-to-face and online team meetings and team events.
·Provide administrative support to the CEO, including diary management.

· Maintain a general mailbox and answer general telephone enquiries.
· Maintain records of equipment held by staff.
· Support the processing of staff expenses.

Location: The post holder will have a normal place of work in Hampton Hill, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and will be required to travel throughout the borough to support our other offices and outreach venues.
