Stories Producer
Stories sit at the heart of our mission, and we’re looking for someone to help us tell them.
From heart-warming tales of dogs finding their forever homes, to compelling case studies showing the impact of our prevention work, we’re on the hunt for talented Stories Producers to create content that brings our work to life.
What does this role do?
As a Stories Producer, you’ll:
- write and produce stories that capture the power of our work, travelling across the country to find case studies, helping us build a library of stories that can be used for campaigns and content across the charity,
- proactively look for stories, cultivating leads and generating ideas that can be turned into exciting content, as well as writing reactive stories for specific campaign briefs,
- interview colleagues, fosterers, and adopters, often discussing difficult topics, using sensitive interviewing approaches to gather information respectfully.
Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for 10th and 11th September 2026 and will take place on Teams.
Could this be you?
We’re looking for candidates who have strong writing and content creation skills, who can draw stories together fluidly and construct meaningful narrative around what we do. You’ll have a flair for storytelling, and a strong understanding of different multimedia formats such as video, photography, and audio. We’re particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience of writing for SEO. You’ll also need excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult topics sensitively, and enjoy working in a close-knit, collaborative team. A passion for our work is essential.
