About the role

A new and exciting opportunity to work with us across the England North region supporting our Liveable Cities and Towns and Paths for Everyone programmes, to encourage walking, wheeling and cycling to new and different users. 

As a Project Officer, you will organise and deliver engagement activities with local community groups, community leaders, businesses, schools and volunteers on our community led infrastructure and National Cycle Network projects. 

You will work with diverse groups within the community who may not currently use the National Cycle Network and enable them to use and look after their local route. 

Candidates should be based within the geographical area with regular travel expected across the region.

Role Objective

To work with the Commercial Marketing Manager to drive commercial interest in Kooth Digital Health’s services in the UK healthcare setting by supporting the delivery of multi-channel campaigns, online and in-person events and customer database management.

Responsibilities

Digital Campaign Delivery:

• Working closely with the Commercial Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and logistics of various commercially focused campaigns ensuring deadlines are met and key milestones and metrics are achieved.
• Assist in planning digital marketing campaigns, providing support in defining objectives, identifying target audiences, and coordinating campaign logistics.
• Aid in the management of content on our digital platforms, such as email, social media, and online advertising, by helping with scheduling, monitoring engagement and responding to inquiries.
• Provide assistance in the implementation and management of email campaigns, ensuring proper organisation of workflows and automated drip campaigns, and helping with metric tracking to inform continuous improvement and conversion rate optimisation efforts.
• Support the creation of digital content by collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure materials align with campaign goals and adhere to brand guidelines and tone of voice.

Event Management:

• Assist in planning and coordinating in-person and online events, including conferences, roundtables, seminars and webinars. Travelling domestically and overnight stays will be required on occasion.

• Develop and implement attribution models to track and analyse the contribution of various marketing channels to lead generation and conversion.

CRM and Database Management:

• Oversee the quality and integrity of marketing data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in our CRM system (Hubspot).
• Work with APIs to integrate the CRM with other software solutions (Hubspot, Monday, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and more) enhancing functionality and supporting cross-platform data exchange to map the entire customer journey.
• Integrate the CRM with email marketing to enable personalised and automated email nurture campaigns, ensuring accurate audience segmentation and recipient targeting.

Requirements

Essential:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent work experience (Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience)
• Demonstrable experience in event management as well as evidence of collaborating with a range of internal and external senior stakeholders to deliver high quality, unique in-person experiences
• Proven track record in a previous digital marketing function with evidence of campaigns/collateral/content that you have created or contributed to and insight into their performance
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful email marketing campaigns.
• Proficient in managing customer relationship and content management systems, preferably HubSpot and WordPress
• Demonstrated experience in utilizing data analytics tools for digital marketing insights.
• Successful execution of multichannel marketing campaigns.
• Experience in implementing CRO strategies to improve campaign performance.
• Proven ability to efficiently manage end-to-end projects.

We are seeking a Fundraising Assistant at York Minster Fund for an initial fixed term contract of 12 months, commencing summer 2024. This part time, flexible role will support our team in administrative and fundraising tasks across a range of exciting activities and events, helping to raise funds for the Minster’s ongoing work.

York Minster Fund is the lead fundraising partner for York Minster. We are an independent organisation, with a separate board of Trustees, who work closely with colleagues across the Cathedral to secure income for a number of much needed projects and programmes of work. Established in 1967, as an emergency response to an urgent restoration project, we secure funds from charitable foundations, major and corporate donors, legacy donors, individuals and events. 

Our funds provide much needed income for a wide range of projects, including the fabric and repair of the iconic Minster itself, the training of apprentices in traditional heritage crafts and strategic initiatives such as the realisation of the Minster's new international Centre of Excellence for Heritage Skills and Estate Management. 

In the last year we have built on existing strong fundraising relationships and techniques to explore new ways of engaging donors and digital audiences and this is an exciting time to join the Fund as we move forward on a number of major projects. As part of our small but highly experienced team, no two days are the same and the role could see you supporting with many different projects and tasks including donor events administration and delivery, correspondence and research.

• Assist with attending Unit Base Parking/Filming/Events on the estate, recording any infringements of agreements on site, and notifying the appropriate team member for further follow-on action.
• Preparing notification details for relevant authorities for entry and exit of tenants – rates, utilities, etc.
• Assisting with servicing property meetings (i.e., circulating papers, coordinating actions where required).
• Responsible for the recording of void premises and issuing of building keys.
• Occasionally provide assistance to the Trust’s reception/office manager for general office duties and reception cover if required.

Knowledge and Experience:

• A minimum of one year’s experience in a busy property department.
• A broad understanding of commercial property or demonstrable experience of transferable skills if you are from a different sector.
• Customer focused, with the ability to provide a friendly and efficient service to customers, staff and tenants.
• Good time management, attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure with changing priorities.
• Excellent administrative skills.

Main purpose of post  

The main purpose of this post it to work alongside the Events Manager and Fundraising team to help deliver a range of charity events, both Weston Park Cancer Charity led and third part events, throughout the year. This will also involve seeking out new opportunities and events that the charity can get involved with in order to continually grow the events portfolio year on year.

This Role will also involve working closely with our supporters, especially those attending/taking on an event for the charity by providing a high level of donor care.

We are looking for someone with a passion for events and the charity sector, and the ambition to help continually grow our event generated income.

What you do  

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Events Manager to plan, organise and deliver the Weston Park Cancer Charity key events across the year including: Doncaster Race Evening, Golf Days, Walk as One and Sing Under the Stars.

• Work with the Events Manager to deliver third party active events including: Skydive, Yorkshire Three Peaks and Great North Run.

• Provide support as well as lead on other events that the charity may be involved with throughout the year including hospital engagement events.

• Work with the Events Manager to continually develop the charity events portfolio for 2025 and beyond

• Provide high level donor care to support donors on their ‘journey’ for those taking on an event for the charity, through exploring opportunities to feel connected and enthusiastic about the work that we do. This will involve welcoming supporters, sending them good lucks and following up with them post event to see how they got on.

• Work closely with our fundraising platform, Raisely, to give our supporters the best stewardship journey possible.

• Seek new event opportunities that Weston Park Cancer Charity could partner with or be involved in.

• Keep up to date with current event trends

• Represent the charity at charity events across the region and the UK

• Understanding the opportunities for developing new relationships as well as retaining existing ones.

• Working on agreed targets and objectives to increase both awareness of the charity, and funding to maintain it’s vital services.

• Working as part of a supportive fundraising team to positively promote Weston Park Cancer Charity within South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire.

• Support the whole fundraising team with innovative and creative ideas for income generation that make us stand out from the crowd.

• Ensure that all communication and interaction with donors is captured through the Fundraising database CRM System and that all donors are thanked timely and efficiently.

• Apply the guidance provided by the Fundraising Regulator and Institute of Fundraising or any fundraising governing bodies to any fundraising activity

• Process regular Supplier updates following the completion of the Supplier Engagement Process
• Process regular Project and Cost Centre updates following the completion of the Project Maker App
• Produce Supplier reports to the teams for their action
• Process regular updates to the financial software (Dimensions) for the Financial Controllers (referred to as Mtab updates) and linking to the Power Apps for each Entity
• Checking, refreshing and syncing App Libraries – Checking that automated scripts have run and initiating others that are not covered by automation or other routine tasks
• Data cleansing associated with the above processes and other datasets

The Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth) is a membership organisation and the voice of the profession, with over 4,000 members in the UK and overseas. Our role is to champion the specialty, set standards of training and practice, and influence change to make a difference to the lives of patients with eye conditions.

Job Purpose

The National Ophthalmology Database (NOD) is a core Department workstream using clinical audit data to identify improvements and provide advice, to inform patient care, safety, and service delivery. This is a new role working with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and support the programe manager to deliver activities of the NOD. The post requires strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. The role will be responsible for all aspects of project support and day-to-day management of the NOD website, including implementation of new developments with the supplier and analysis of usage to suggest areas for improvement.

Main Areas of Work and Responsibility

• Assist the NOD Manager in project planning to identify and track deviations from the project plan and budget, identifying and logging any risks and issues, and improving project procedures
• Support the NOD Manager with administration, project outputs, applying and explaining the information governance, outlier, and other project policies to stakeholders
• Management of the NOD website including liaising with the website supplier, working with the NOD Manager to develop a content schedule, editing content, assisting users with queries, authorising user access
• Review and analyse website performance and make recommendations for improvement
• Lead and manage the delivery of specific workstreams as agree with the NOD Manager
• Administer virtual and in person meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, following up actions
• Liaison with the project teams and RCOphth functions e.g. policy and communications team  
• Process and respond to incoming correspondence, providing information and guidance to stakeholders and project participants
• To maintain and update audit contact databases (Microsoft Excel and CRM) assisting with its ongoing development and testing.
• Assist the NOD Manager with recruitment of organisations to take part in the audits
• Assisting with editing and proofreading project outputs and ensure they adhere to branding and house style guidelines
• To undertake other administrative duties as required. For example, finance/processing purchase order information to enable subscription invoices to be issued
• To maintain accurate and secure electronic filing systems and document management
• Occasionally manage sub-projects as directed by the NOD Manager

• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required, including occasional travel and overnight stays

Person Specification

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

• At least two/three years’ experience in a similar project support role
• Experience of website administration/management including use of Google analytics, Content Management Systems and liaising with developers
• Experience of working with customer relationship management databases to support effective project administration
• Experience of coordinating activities for complex/substantial work programmes, with numerous ‘external’ customers, to challenging deadlines
• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project
• Experience with managing and maintaining documentation, flowcharts and schedules

The Press and Media Relations Officer represents the work of SCIE, acting as the point of contact for members of the press and other media representatives. The post holder is responsible for maintaining the profile and reputation of the charity and helping to achieve our influencing objectives with policymakers and leaders in the social care sector. As members of the Community Directorate we aim to reach out to and support people with Parkinson’s, their families, friends and carers.  We enable the voice of people affected by Parkinson’s to be heard to improve services, inform our priorities and improve decision making locally.

Through community development we work in close collaboration with our respective Parkinson’s communities to bring change on the issues that matter most to people affected by Parkinson’s.

What you’ll do:

• Organise online and in-person, internal and external meetings and other events, including booking venues and refreshments, assisting with the production of materials, liaising with participants and speakers, fulfilling mailings and taking bookings as required.
• Keep up to date with the directorate’s activities in order to provide clear, accurate information, and support the process of business performance and impact reporting. 
• Respond to general enquiries in a timely and friendly  fashion, ensuring needs are met, and participate in working groups, meetings, local events or activities as required.
• Maintain digital records on the charity’s data platforms.

Main purpose and scope of the role:

To support and work in collaboration with our lead designer at Parentkind to: 

• Develop, implement and maintain a new brand for Parentkind
• Create best-in-class design of print and digital assets, including magazines, guides, videos, website, campaign and social media assets
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders providing creative and innovative design support for Parentkind projects 

Duties and key responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Lead Designer at Parentkind

1.Design:

• Champion the Parentkind brand across all designed assets and activities to ensure brand integrity and consistency
• Design assets which will include but are not limited to; print and digital magazines, guides, social assets, email designs, web assets, video content and PowerPoint templates
• Contribute creatively to large campaigns and activities ensuring that we are delivering best in-class and impactful design, that effectively represents and promotes our vision
• Conduct thorough quality checks on deliverables to ensure accuracy

2.Project management:

• Lead on the delivery of design activity such as guides, social and email campaigns, ensuring that design work is delivered to time and allows for revisions, sign-off and launch deadlines
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
• Assist in managing and organising design assets, including image libraries, templates and project files

3.Collaboration:

• Work with the lead designer at Parentkind to support on projects, refine design outputs and deliver work within the Parentkind brand and to deadlines
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that design work meets the objectives of the relevant projects and is done so within the Parentkind brand

4.Continuous learning:

As an Eden Project Apprentice you will spend on average 6 hours a week studying a taught element delivered by one of our partner training providers. With experience of working in busy environments, you’ll combine these talents with a keen eye for detail, a flexible approach and great client relationship skills.
