The Role:
The Marketing Executive will support the delivery of our marketing strategy across channels such as organic social media, paid social, paid media, as well as supporting offline marketing efforts. You will report to the Social Media Manager, but this role will support across all of the marketing functions. We’re seeking a team player, with a willingness to learn, and a passion for supporting the beneficiaries we serve.
Responsibilities:
· You will support the delivery of our marketing strategy across all existing channels, as well as new ones we seek to test. This includes but is not limited to:
o Support on organic social media including the creating, scheduling and reporting of content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X and LinkedIn with support from the Social Media Manager.
o Support on paid social media including the creation, scheduling, optimising and reporting of content across Meta and TikTok with support from the Social Media Manager.
o Support of our paid search efforts in accordance with our agency’s directions.
o Support on the TV appeals, OOH, events and more as needed.
· You will support the Social Media Manager and Marketing Manager with administrative tasks as needed.
· You will take part in campaign planning and creative brainstorming sessions, showcasing a confidence to share ideas on how we can fundraise and communicate with our donors successfully.
· Engage with key followers of our social media accounts including influencer management, strategy and reporting.
· Time will be split across all marketing functions with an emphasis on social media marketing.
Person specification:
· Experience in an agile fundraising environment where priorities can change without warning.
· Test and learn mindset to deliver the best performing marketing activities.
· Data driven to optimise performance across channels.
· Experience in Meta, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok.
· Stays up to date with social media trends including new social channels.
· Willingness to learn and get stuck in with fundraising efforts which may fall outside of this role’s usual remit, such as TV appeals.
· Good organisational and time management skills.
· Strong copywriting skills including the ability to story-tell.
· Creative thinker to do things differently.
· Strong communicator and able to work collaboratively.
· Ideally degree level education.
Essential for Successful Postholder to:
- Possess the ability to demonstrate current eligibility to work within the United Kingdom
- Be able to either:
1. Provide a valid Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) certificate (issued within the last year) when requested by Muslim Hands;

Main Duties:
● Develop strong individual donor relations through regular stewardship communications and powerful fundraising appeals, alongside establishing the associated data and systems; growing supporters.
● Create community development assets, which enables community groups to engage with and provide resources for the Charity, such as for charitable fundraising / food donation events.
● Together with the Development Director, secure income from, and maintain relations with grant giving trusts and foundations, including working alongside external consultants.
● Together with the Development Director, develop a team of volunteers who can support the work of the Charity’s development function.
● Support the Development Director in their communication with corporate partners, to build good relations, gain and maintain corporate partner support.
● Liaise with colleagues across the Trussell Trust network; sharing best practice and participating in learning opportunities, to further the work of Cambridge City Foodbank.

Technical skills and minimum knowledge:

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to generate vital income for their work in making a society in which people are safer and feel safer. Designed in partnership with UCL, In2research is a year-long programme that aims to improve access to postgraduate research degrees and careers for people from low-socioeconomic and underrepresented backgrounds. Through workshops, mentoring, professional development days and an eight-week research placement, participants receive the development opportunities and insight they need to progress onto postgraduate research degrees and careers in STEM, Social Sciences and Arts & Humanities subjects.

We are looking for an In2research Programme Officer to help expand our high-quality programme by supporting all stages of the programme including: planning; delivery; recruitment; stakeholder management and evaluation.
With multiple internal and external stakeholders involved in the continual success of In2research, excellent communication and project delivery skills will be key in this role. The purpose of the Programme Officer role is to support the successful delivery of the In2research Programme.
Your specific duties will include:
Programme Delivery

Manage participants and volunteers from application stage to successful completion of the programme, including recruitment, matching, onboarding, troubleshooting throughout the programme and evaluation.

Maintain excellent working relationships with funders and delivery partners and other external stakeholders to further the delivery of our work. This will include working and communicating with academic and professional services staff at universities, consultants, placement supervisors, mentors and workshop leads

Create and develop engaging communication materials about the programme including programme guides, presentations, posters/flyers, case studies and website text and images.

Work with delivery partners to design and deliver programme’s online and in-person activities, including recruiting and training speakers for: workshops; careers panels; mentoring sessions; placements and large scale away days and celebration events

Track project performance, manage risk assessments and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
