Role Overview

This position requires a proactive approach to ensure the smooth functioning of Operations and Facilities across our company. 

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, with proven organizational skills and able to manage time and prioritise workflow according to the fast pace of the role. Job Purpose

• Review procedures to streamline and increase efficiency, including IT procedures, office management procedures, stock up keep etc. 
• Reception: Post and deliveries collection and dispatch, welcoming visitors and responding to queries. 
• Stock check of the staff shared space, responsible for orders placement and financial spend tracking. 
• Responsible for shared inboxes related to fleet management, operations, maintenance and feedback.
• Managing a central system for monitoring and logging complaints, comments, Freedom of Information Requests making sure all are dealt with in accordance with the procedure and reporting figures quarterly. 
• Tracking insurance claims and accidents report for quarterly KPIs. 
• Manage company performance data, ensuring deadlines are met and reports ready for client.
• Manage the repairs tracker, raising POs and maintaining accurate budget records with input of invoices and purchase orders raised and support mangers with the preparation of financial reports. 
• Collect data regarding current stock, i.e. warranty length, equipment health and durability, etc, to support Operations Manager in developing a more financially strategic approach toward IT equipment

The role involves being the first point of contact for a wide range of enquirers and supporters, assisting with the implementation of a regular giving strategy and supporting donor communications and retention.  Day to day task will include ensuring accurate records on the Development database, supporting the work of Alumni with a range of events and promoting the work of the Development Office with the use of social media.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Media, Production and Sound Technician is a key role within the Creative and Worship teams, with responsibility for the provision of sound, visual and technical support for St Stephen’s Worship, Communications and Media production ministry.

Key objectives

· To enable the church’s worship through excellent sound, visual, staging and production of all services and special events (including online).

· To continuously recruit, train, oversee and support volunteer teams for sound, lighting and VPS.

· To have a vision for enabling worship which flows from your own living faith in Jesus.

· To oversee the maintenance of worship equipment (inc. organ and piano tuning), liaising with external contractors as needed.

The details

The Office Coordinator position is responsible for the general day-to-day operations of the London, UK office.  Due to the nature of this position, work must generally be performed within a 30 hours / week timeframe (M-Fri). This role is an in-office role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, with other duties upon request:

· General administration as required: call handling and forwarding, front door access controls, post management, post requests, staff access, etc.

· Support of facilities management: oversight of cleaning and maintenance contractors, management of office supplies and procurement, equipment maintenance requests, liaison with building management.

The Communications department at Alzheimer’s Research UK informs, inspires and engages the public about dementia and the progress being made in research. This role sits within the Campaigns & Projects team, one of several specialist teams in the wider department.

The Communications and Content Officer will play a vital role in shaping and growing strategically important communications projects that aim to build understanding of dementia and support for research.

They will be responsible for maximising the impact of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s external news content and other digital comms activity to engage existing supporters and attract new ones. · Monitoring relevant media coverage to identify stories and developments that could impact upon or provide opportunities for campaigns and projects.

Act as a central point of contact, coordinating the department’s input into key supporter-facing communications.

What we are looking for:

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

You will be working closely with the Team Manager and Hertfordshire Children’s Services to provide a safe, happy and positive experience for families, children and young people who have been referred to the service.  You will provide Supervised Contact for those referred to the service by their Social Workers and will provide a safe and welcoming environment where families are able to build trusting relationships and where appropriate receive support, advice and guidance.

Role Summary

How this role fits into the vision and objectives of Causeway

The Fundraising and Business Development Team Administrator will form part of a five-strong team led by our Head of Fundraising and Business Development. The role is perfect for someone who would like to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable and marginalised people and who would appreciate the opportunity to play a big role in a small, friendly and ambitious team.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and proactive person who will play a key role in supporting the team with sight and activity across all fundraising areas and this could be a great opportunity for someone looking to take their first steps into fundraising. Above all, we are looking for someone with drive and initiative - a natural problem solver who is always looking to improve upon current processes.

Responsibilities:

As part of a small team, you will need to take responsibility for identifying where your support is most needed through busy times, juggling different priorities to work effectively and efficiently, often under your own steam.
Key responsibilities are:
Corporate Fundraising

• Support corporate fundraising by completing due diligences on potential partners (you will be trained how to do this), organising corporate visits, volunteering days, supporting corporate fundraising events, keeping corporate partners up to date with our news etc and organising meetings.

Trusts and Foundations

• Support trusts and foundations fundraising by supporting on funder research (again you will be fully trained how to do this) and contributing to a constant pipeline of potential funders for the team to approach.
• Helping to manage the schedule for, and possibly writing and/or submitting basic proposals to trusts and foundations.

Events

•  Support the team by recording and sending fundraising materials to those raising money for us through events and challenge event.
•  Helping to develop, organise and deliver events.

Individual Giving

• Supporting our Individual Giving programme from an administrative point of view, including sending out pre-written emails to our supporters etc and ensuring first-class stewardship.
• Using our fundraising platform Enthuse to produce reports to support the team (and finance) with relevant information and insights.
• To ensure all donations are processed and on the fundraising tracker correctly, supporter records are kept up to date and supporters are thanked in a timely manner.

General

• To be the first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries that come in by telephone, email, and post.
• Supporting other activities in the fundraising team when needed, sending out materials to fundraisers and supporting logistics, diary management and support the organisation and delivery of meetings and events when needed.
• Attend meetings and take concise and accurate minutes.
• Support the Head of Fundraising and Business Development to produce trackers and spreadsheets which help to measure the team’s performance and results. This includes ensuring income is allocated correct from third party platforms and working closely with the Finance Team to ensure that we can report fundraising results and forecast accurately and in a timely way.
• Support with stock control and ordering for our material assistance project, LifeSupply which also forms part of the department.
• Support all income generation activity with the collation of information from other departments, external organisations or though research.

We are excited to recruit a Community Organiser for our East Oxford Parent Power project. This role offers a meaningful, paid professional development opportunity. The Brilliant Club work in partnership with Oxford Brookes University to engage with parents in East Oxford. The parental engagement model used will be based on the successful Parent Power South London and Oldham Parent Power projects.

About Women in Prison

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.

Job Purpose:

You will be joining Women in Prison’s new fundraising team which secures funding from a range of sources including individual donors, corporate supporters, and charitable trusts and foundations. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Male Advocate working in our Male safe- houses based in Bolton. In this role you will be supporting Survivors of Modern day Slavery. In this role you’ll casework service users living within our Safe-house. This role includes providing service users with emotional and practical support; advocating on their behalf, communicating with other organisations including but not limited to health professionals, legal representation and the Home office.  There is an occupational requirement for the applicant to be male. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Case working service users identified as PVOHT (Potential Victims of Human Trafficking).
• Arranging and attending appointments for service users
• Regular feedback and review meetings with Accommodation Coordinator.
• Following up all the paperwork and details of VOHT in adherence to the terms of the contract; including on line reporting. Including but not limited to; weekly reviews, risk assessments, support plans and inductions.
• Ensuring that volunteers who work with you on shift have the proper level of support and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Ensuring that all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
• Ensuring progression of service users through the system; 
• Ensuring exit strategies are being prepared in a timely fashion.
• Liaising with organizations and individuals regarding VOHT and Causeway in a professional manner - including but not limited to SATco, UK Visas and Immigration, Modern Slavery Human Trafficking Unit, other agencies, police, and medical professionals.

• Ensuring paperwork is being completed correctly and in a timely fashion.
