Here at Forward Trust, we deliver a complex range of housing and drug and alcohol recovery focused services in the unique prison environment. Our support includes providing housing advice and support and general advice, health and wellbeing, motivational work, clinical services, and a wider range of group work and interventions and treatment programmes.
The Forward Trust services which are delivered within Welsh prison settings are commissioned by Ministry of Justice and are delivered in partnership with HMPPS prison and probation colleagues and G4s prison colleagues and HMPPS Probation resettlement colleagues at HMP Parc. Integration and partnership are integral to the work we do.

Role Responsibilities
Working in HMP Cardiff, HMP Swansea with occasional need to attend HMP Parc, the postholder will mainly be co-located with Probation resettlement colleagues and working directly with service users on the wings within the prison and also providing face to face housing interventions premises when required.
In this role you will be delivering Housing focused interventions to improve housing opportunities and play a key role in homelessness prevention for men on probation. In order to achieve sustainable housing outcomes you will ensure that a holistic assessment of need is completed with onward referrals to specialist services made for any identified need
If you are an experienced, positive and solutions focused individual with a passion for preventing homelessness, reducing reoffending and supporting meaningful change in the lives of people involved with Criminal Justice services this could be the ideal role for you

In doing this we will connect them to skills, options and services that will empower them to have ownership of their housing journey.
Our service supports, informs and empowers our neighbours in custody and the community, on every step of their journey to regain or retain housing and reach their full potential.
All prison-based roles will require enhanced DBS and G4S enhanced level 2 security vetting.
This process can take up to 2-4 weeks. All offers are subject to receiving both HMPPS vetting and DBS clearances.

The DRC Fieldwork Coordinator role sits within RFUK’s largest Programmes team: Land & Livelihoods. A central aspect of the L&L team’s work is supporting communities to establish and manage community forests as well as working at the national and policy levels to achieve wider impact. This role will be pivotal to a new phase of community forest expansion in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is being supported by the Rainforest Trust. In partnership with five local organisations, the role will contribute to the objective of expanding community forests in two highly biodiverse landscapes: the periphery of the Maïko National Park in North Kivu province and the area surrounding the Salonga National Park in Maï Ndombe province.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years’ experience of project management support in a charity or international development context, as well as 3 years’ of experience in supporting community land use planning and livelihoods initiatives in rural contexts. ● Confidence with payroll processes and charity finance

Job Purpose
Our Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP) is a volunteer-led project that encourages, facilitates and supports older people aged 50+ to keep active by volunteering in their community. RSVP believes that by volunteering and using their life experience and skills, older people are less likely to be socially isolated and suffer from poor mental and physical health and wellbeing. Current RSVP activities in Forth Valley include volunteering programmes within NHS hospitals and primary schools, charitable knitting groups, walking groups, and a Handyperson Scheme. Over 1500 older people have engaged over the last 25 years.
We are looking for a Development Worker who can work flexibly, is driven, and is passionate about supporting older people to take part in volunteering. The right candidate would be someone with excellent communication, relationship building, and organisation skills as well as experience of recruiting, coordinating and managing volunteers. It is important that the post holder can commit to our organisational values - being Compassionate, Empowering, Inclusive, Positive and Straightforward.
You will lead to attract, recruit and support new RSVP volunteers, targeting older people who already are, or are at risk of, social isolation and poor health. You will work closely with a small team of Volunteer Organisers, supporting and empowering them to deliver and develop existing and new RSVP activities across Forth Valley.

Birmingham and Solihull Women’s aid have for over 40 years supported women and children with services around domestic violence and abuse. Could you be a part of our team as we continue our mission to end domestic violence and abuse?
The region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop in and and community support as well as emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.
Projects supports women in the criminal justice system, in healthcare settings, and throughout the community, offering support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. Alongside this, we also have colleagues offering training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals alike, raising awareness on gender based violence issues.
We seek like-minded women to join our enthusiastic team of workers, all of us passionate about the vital and valuable work we do to support women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, and tackling the wider issues of violence against women and girls.
This role will develop and delivery family support and play sessions to children and their mothers in refuge and the community, as well as leading on domestice violence awareness sessions.
