Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 17:00 or 9:30 - 17:30. This is a Hybrid role 3 days based in our Head Office and 2 days work from home with occasional visits to our various services.

About the role

We're looking for a Finance Officer to join our Finance team to drive the delivery and management of our cashflow forecasts to support central and operational teams with their financial budgets and controls to manage and maximise funds. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive finance team, helping to improve processes, develop financial tools, and deliver training where needed. Your work will ensure financial accuracy and integrity across the Group and its subsidiaries, enabling our services to run smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Manage daily banking transactions and reconciliations
• Support with weekly cash-flow forecasts and monthly credit card reconciliations
• Maintain and update financial records, petty cash, and reporting templates
• Assist with audit preparation and ensure compliance with SIG policies and legal standards
• Monitor spending trends and provide clear reports and analysis
• Act as a key contact for finance-related enquiries and stakeholder communication

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a national charity to recruit for an Owned Events Lead to join ambitious and growing fundraising team. This is your chance to shape an exciting portfolio of in house and virtual events, from large scale participation experiences.

In this hands on role, you’ll lead the full lifecycle of the charity owned fundraising events, including planning, delivery, supporter acquisition, safety, budgeting, and post event analysis. You’ll take ownership of flagship events and help develop new products from concept to delivery, with an emphasis on insight driven decisions and supporter experience.

As an Owned Events Lead you will:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of owned and virtual fundraising events, including logistics, health & safety, supplier coordination, supporter comms, and evaluation.
• Plan and deliver large scale in person events, managing everything from risk assessments to on the day execution.
• Develop and grow virtual campaigns using insight, behavioural science, and digital best practice.
• Collaborate with teams across innovation, digital, comms and supporter experience to ensure joined up, high performing events.
• Own event budgets, tracking ROI, reforecasting, and using data to inform decisions.
• Lead on supporter acquisition strategies, including paid digital advertising, grassroots promotion, and audience segmentation.
• Create personalised, multi-channel stewardship journeys that deepen engagement.
• Continuously evaluate event performance, capturing insight to evolve and improve future delivery.

To be successful, you must have experience:

• Experience on leading the delivery of fundraising or public facing events, including virtual formats.
• Proven success managing all aspects of event delivery, including safety, logistics, and supplier relationships.
• Experience launching new fundraising products using insight and test and learn methods.
• Knowledge of digital marketing (PPC, paid social) and audience targeting.
• Strong budget management skills with a commercial mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-stakeholder projects and manage external agencies.

• A confident project manager, able to juggle priorities in a fast paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Scheme Manager, you’ll:

The role

The children and young people’s bereavement programme in Wales is looking to increase and improve its current services. We are looking for people to take this team forward over the next few years. Are you a resourceful digital all-rounder with a solid understanding of how websites work behind the scenes? We’re looking for a confident Digital Operations Officer to become our primary CMS super-user and content editor, someone who can manage day-to-day publishing tasks while also getting stuck into wider UX, form building, QA and platform operations. The Role

As an Operations Officer, you will report to the Area Safety and Facilities Manager. You will take the lead in managing the day-to-day operations of the Yorkshire Cancer Research Centre in Harrogate. You will also play a vital role in ensuring our wider estate—including retail spaces and our new warehouse—remains safe, compliant, and fully operational.

In this pivotal role, you will be the go-to person for keeping our buildings running smoothly. From coordinating maintenance and resolving issues, to managing compliance through the EVERY system, centralised ordering, and waste contracts—you will make sure our people have everything they need to do their best work.

Specifically, you will:

Hornbeam Centre Compliance and Building Management across all premises including retail shops and warehouses

· Liaise with contractors to ensure that they are delivering their expected obligations in line with their service level agreements/contracts.

· Manage the keyholder process to ensure that keys for the property across the estate are well controlled and managed.

· Be the first point of contact for any snagging or building issues with the Yorkshire Cancer Research Centre, booking contractors to ensure both a quick and cost-controlled resolution.

· Ensure that all weekly and monthly checks are successfully delegated in the event of your planned absence to ensure that there are no gaps in the records.

· Check and administer the building DEFIB.

· Ensure that the Centre is clean, tidy and free of Health & Safety risks, promptly addressing or reporting any concerns to the appropriate person whether that be internal or external.

Supporting Estate Building Compliance

· Complete and record Fire Alarm tests on a weekly basis.

· Ensure that all compliance documentation, as directed by the Area Safety and Compliance Manager, is appropriately filed and would be readily available, if required, for audit purposes.

· Monitor EVERY for all properties across the estate and be the first point of escalation for non-compliance to completing actions in the right timescales.

· Ensure that all annual services are proactively booked in for every property across the estate including, but not limited to, fire alarm servicing, legionella testing.

Centre Support

· Ensure that amenities within the Centre are in good working order, and repairs are carried out in a timely manner so that all colleagues are be able to successfully carry out their own roles and that the Centre is a suitable environment in which to do so.

 

Health and Safety Record Keeping

· Ensure that all compliance documentation, as directed by the Area Safety and Compliance Manager, is appropriately filed and would be readily available, if required, for audit purposes.

Administration of the Vehicle Fleet

· Proactively manage the administration of the charity’s vehicles, including but not limited to, pool cars and delivery/support vans.

· Book services and MOTs and adhoc repairs/work as required.

· Responsible for monitoring and managing the renewal checks of driving licences.

 

Centralisation of processes

· Support with the raising and approval of purchase orders and creating orders from suppliers, as required, by the Operations and eCommerce Team in a timely manner

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

· To be ideally educated to GCSE level or equivalent.

· Previous experience of working in a Facilities role with a good understanding of the requirements of this role and H&S responsibilities.

· To have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

· To have proven experience in facilities management and administration.

· To have good communication skills and proven experience of engaging with internal and external stakeholders, addressing queries and offering practical solutions.

· To be extremely organised and able to prioritise a diverse workload and meet deadlines.

· To be able to follow procedures in emergencies: be proactive, with the ability to react to evolving situations and be led by management and other colleagues.

· A willingness to complete our pre-employment checks (to be undertaken once the role is offered and accepted) which include:

o A check on your employment history by seeking two references

The Woodland Trust is looking for an Engagement Officer in our Northern Ireland team, to deliver opportunities for audiences to connect with woods and trees through a range of engagement activities both on our own estate and in partnership with others.
