Reporting to: Corporate Partnerships Manager

Location of work: London-based with at least three days per week required at Deutsche Bank’s London Office at 21 Moorfields. Beyond partner requirements, Magic Breakfast has a hybrid approach including working from home and occasional meetings at the charity’s London office. The role may also involve some occasional travel throughout England and Scotland including to Deutsche Bank’s Birmingham office. 

Contract type: Ideally full-time, 35 hours per week, although part time / flexible hours may be considered. The role may require occasional evening and weekend work

Contract Length: This is a fixed term contract starting 11th January 2027 until 31st January 2028.

Salary: £31,500

BACKGROUND   

For more than 20 years, Magic Breakfast has been helping children and young people start the day with the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and thrive. But the impact of breakfast goes far beyond food. Every morning, we help pupils arrive at school feeling valued, included, and ready to reach their potential.

Today, 2.1 million children across the UK are at risk of hunger, the equivalent of four pupils in a classroom of 30. Working with schools in disadvantaged communities across England and Scotland, Magic Breakfast is committed to ensuring no child is too hungry to learn. Governments in both England and Scotland have committed to expanding access to free school breakfasts, recognising the vital role they play in children’s wellbeing and attainment. Yet significant gaps remain. Pupils in secondary schools, alongside younger children in nursery and early years settings, are still at risk of starting the day hungry. Hunger does not begin at age five, nor end at age 11, and neither does our mission.

JOB PURPOSE 

Magic Breakfast has a motivated and high performing Corporate Partnerships team which was successful in securing a transformational two-year partnership with Deutsche Bank, beginning in January 2026. We are now seeking a Corporate Partnerships Executive to support the Corporate Partnerships Manager who will together be dedicated to supporting that partnership, whilst also supporting the wider team.

Background on the partnership:

Deutsche Bank’s UK Charity of the Year programme is a two-year partnership with Magic Breakfast beginning January 2026 with an ambition of raising £2m over that time. The partnership is significant for the charity, comprising employee volunteering and fundraising, match giving and strategic support. The partnership also has the potential ensure a legacy beyond the 24-month partnership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

As the Corporate Partnerships Executive, you will work with a Corporate Partnerships Manager to deliver one of the charity’s largest, most high-profile and multi-faceted partnerships to date. Together you will work closely with colleagues in the Corporate Partnerships Team and across the organisation, to maximise potential of this transformational partnership.

You will also collaborate closely with the CSR Team at Deutsche Bank and their wider employee network. You will seize opportunities to make personal connections and effectively deliver a varied range of activity such as event fundraising, payroll giving and employee volunteering.

In addition, you will be expected to support other corporate partnerships and collaborate with the wider fundraising team to deliver projects and implement processes that support Magic Breakfast’s Fundraising & Development team in achieving its income targets and wider success.
