This role will lead on providing senior technical advice, leadership and guidance to the planning, delivery and monitoring of communications activities across the organisation.

The successful candidate will join our existing communications team and support our communications and engagement. This role will lead on providing senior technical advice, leadership and guidance to the planning, delivery and monitoring of communications activities across the organisation. This includes supporting on elements of our communication activities; newsletter creation, website maintenance, graphic design and social media.
We are looking for someone with a creative eye, good interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail who can communicate effectively. A key part of the role will involve exploring and implementing a data visualisation tool to efficiently monitor and review the reach and effectiveness of Action Hampshire’s communications (including social media platforms, newsletter, website hits and publication downloads, event attendance).

Key tasks include:
- Providing leadership enabling the delivery of high quality, impactful, engaging and informative content for the Action Hampshire website, newsletter and social media platforms
- Provide support and work with our Communications Officer and Communications Administrator to ensure we are alignment with our communications strategy
- Explore and implement a data visualisation tool to efficiently monitor and review the reach and effectiveness of Action Hampshire’s communications
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation and build relationships with our members and users

Volunteering Strategic Project Manager
£41,738 per annum (pro rata for part time hours)

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with Sustrans as part of the UK-wide Volunteering Team, where you will play a critical role to lead on delivering strategic priority projects.
As the Volunteering Strategic Project Manager you will line manage the England Volunteering Development Officers, lead on the strategic oversight for volunteering across England, and work collaboratively across the team to ensure volunteering is impact-led, embeds equity, diversity, and inclusion, and meets the needs of the organisation as well as the local community.
Contributing to the five-year volunteering strategy, you will ensure continued growth and impact across our successful IT and Digital transformations.
You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people such as teams and colleagues across Sustrans, along with Partner Agencies, public and volunteering stakeholder groups and potential funders.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.
About you
You should have substantial experience of end-to-end project management, as well as leading a team through transition and a change to working practices. You will also have demonstratable success in leading and delivering multiple projects within volunteering or community-based activity.
You will be skilled in leading, inspiring, motivating and developing a team.
We ask you to demonstrate your knowledge of contemporary best practice in volunteering, as well as a knowledge of volunteer digital systems.

This role is part of the Wiltshire Domestic Abuse Team, which provides support to people and their families who have been impacted by domestic abuse.
Working closely with the wider Wiltshire Team your key responsibilities will be:
- To co-ordinate the delivery of group work programmes.
- To facilitate and deliver group work programmes.
- Assess participants’ suitability for programmes.
- To monitor waiting lists, with a focus on risk management and safeguarding.
- To support group facilitators to deliver programmes.
- To lead on the development of new programmes .
- To review current programmes and continue development as required.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact regarding group-work provision.
- To ensure groups are monitored with consideration of outcomes, and support the Team Manager to pull data as requested.
- To deliver group-work programmes both virtually and face-to-face.
- To promptly assess all group referrals and manage waiting lists.
- To undertake risk assessments and agree risk management / safety plans where required.
- To provide support to group facilitators and feedback to their line managers where required.
- Stay abreast of developments in best practice, legislative and other changes, and integrate them into day-to-day work and the development of strategies and plans.
- To chair regular facilitator meetings, ensuring that minutes are taken and disseminated and that there is regular attendance by the workers.
- To identify areas of training need and co-ordinate in-house training for the staff or signpost to appropriate providers.
- To make recommendations to Team Manager about the best use of resources.
- Coordinate resources and activities to serve the needs of service users to ensure a seamless, co-ordinated response.
- To analyse data generated and evaluate groups, producing verbal/written reports as required.
- To support the on going develop of programmes offered.
- To work closely with other teams to ensure the best possible outcome for clients.
- To prioritise client need by risk, vulnerability and safeguarding.
- To ensure that accurate and appropriate notes are recorded after each group work session and any other contact with clients.

- Plan group delivery rotas.
- To work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure volunteers are in place to run groups. This will include feeding back to the Volunteer Coordinator on the volunteers progress to inform line management.
- To provide line management to sessional group workers.
- To support peoples continuing professional development.
- Alongside the Team Manager, ensure the service meets regulatory and best practice requirements.
General
- Remain up to date and concordant with organisational procedures, policies and professional code of conduct, upholding standards of best practice.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings.
- Contribute to effective team working with a flexible and pro-active approach, including cover for other team members’ holidays and sickness where required.
