As a member of our Leadership Group, you’ll also actively contribute to the strategic leadership, planning and policy formulation of the MS Society as a whole.

Slimbridge Wetland Centre is looking for a Visitor Experience Manager to lead both our paid and volunteer teams, champion cross departmental working and achieve an inspiring and engaging visitor experience.

Working with the General Manager, you will ensure that visitor experience is at the forefront of everything we do, including how we engage with our visitors before, during and after their visit.

As our Visitor Experience Manager, you will lead and support our Learning, Engagement & Events, Visitor Services and Administration teams. You are responsible for conveying a warm welcome at the admissions desk and the business reception, delivering events & engagement programmes throughout the centre and overseeing formal learning, and the Scott House Museum.

You will also act as duty manager on a rota basis ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities within the centre, communicating to all on site the expectations of the day.

Job Purpose & Background: 

CDP’s development team is ambitious, dynamic and at the heart of everything CDP does. As a Senior Manager, Philanthropy, you will focus on developing and managing strategic, high-value relationships with Trusts and Foundations. The Senior Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing a global fundraising strategy at a key time of organizational growth. Who you are

Your day-to-day

You will support the execution of CDPs philanthropic fundraising strategy. 

You will manage a portfolio of strategic, high-value donors, building strong relationships and implementing creative solicitation plans to maximise donor engagement and income.

You will research, develop and secure funding from new donors, with a strong focus on funders with a potential to give 7-8 figure grants. 

You will develop an excellent knowledge of CDP’s work, liaise with colleagues to prepare and present high-quality information such as tailored presentations and proposals for the donor. 

You will build excellent external working relationships at all levels with donors, their staff and networks in order to directly influence their decisions.

You will build excellent internal working relationships to engage staff at all levels in supporting donor stewardship to manage prospective and existing donors effectively.

The Role:

The Partner Engagement Lead is responsible for key account management, and specifically developing and supporting relationships with programme sponsors and partners within the WorldGBC network.

The Partner Engagement Lead will work closely alongside the programme/projects team subject leads, taking responsibility for day to day management of activities that relate to sponsors or stakeholders, including partner relationships, external collaborations and fundraising.

Working cross-functionally within a matrix-style organisation, the Lead will work collaboratively on the engagement pillar of WorldGBC's fundraising team alongside the Partnerships Manager and the Strategic Partnerships Lead. This team coordinates closely with all WorldGBC departments, in particular where sponsors are involved with initial focus on the programme/project partners.

Well-organised and a great communicator, this individual will ensure that key relationships are managed effectively across the organisation, and be detail oriented in their reporting and accounting of opportunities. The Lead should also be willing to represent the organisation in relevant external opportunities relating to the programmes as need arises - including fundraising meetings, external working groups, events or conferences.

The Partner Engagement Lead will report to the Director of Programmes Strategy.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Account Management: Be primary point of contact for new and existing programmatic sponsors and partners, overseeing engagement with the network and accounting with detailed reporting to ensure up-to-date partnership records. Work alongside the programmatic team leads to deliver all agreed benefits to partners, ensuring a uniform balance of benefits and opportunities across sponsors engaging in all areas of the organisation.

2. Fundraising and Budget Management: Work alongside the programme leads to secure funding and manage relevant programme/project budgets (with guidance from the Director of Programmes Strategy), including supporting grant application and reporting responsibilities where necessary.

3. Stakeholder Engagement (members and partners): Engage with stakeholders to ensure that our programmes/projects align with their goals and needs, working with the Director of Programmes Strategy and wider programme team to explore best practice engagement tactics throughout 2024.

4. Subject Matter Expertise: Stay current with the latest trends in sustainable buildings and WorldGBC programme outputs, ensuring the Lead can communicate knowledgeably about WorldGBC strategy and work areas as required.

5. Communications: Support communication for WorldGBC on topics related to sustainable buildings in relevant programmatic areas, representing the team at internal or external events or industry working groups and collaborating with Marketing & Communications on accurate messaging for publications and campaigns.

6. Supporting Programmes team: Be a committed member of the WorldGBC team and offer support, training and expertise to wider members of the team. Participate and engage in wider WorldGBC campaigns, events and deliverables, such as COP, World Green Building Week and Leadership Summit.

Summary

The National Trust, a leading charity in the UK and Europe's largest conservation body, was established in 1895. It oversees more than 780 miles of coastline, over 250,000 hectares of land, and over 500 historic houses, castles, ancient monuments, gardens, parks, and nature reserves, all preserved "forever for everyone". As part of our conservation mission, we are deeply omitted to combating climate change and aim to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030, and we are passionate about safeguarding and enhancing a natural environment under significant pressure.

The Treasury and Investments team at the Trust plays a crucial and wide-ranging role. Managing the Trust's investment portfolio of approximately £1.5 billion, the team aligns the portfolio with the Trust's environmental goals without compromising returns. They secure external debt for the Trust, finance most of the Trust's commercial and renewable energy projects, oversee day-to-day cash management, and are now starting to develop, often very innovative, strategies for accessing finance to support action on climate change and nature restoration initiatives.

Please note the advertised salary is inclusive of a £13,000k reviewable market supplement. Your base salary will be £55,000k and you will receive the market supplement as an allowance on top.

What it's like to work here

The Treasury team, consisting of eight dedicated members, including two other Treasury and Investments Funding Managers, collaborates across all levels of the Trust, from individual properties to the Board and Trustees. We pride ourselves on our adaptability and teamwork, offering expert advice, innovative financing options, and efficient processes to drive organisational success.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend this office from time to time. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week though. What you'll be doing

Treasury and Investments Funding Managers are closely and flexibly involved in all the areas of Treasury and Investments operation including managing the investment portfolio, raising external debt, funding internal commercial and renewable energy projects, cash and bank relationship management, funds ledger management and the Trust’s building nature and climate funding agenda.

About the role 

As Artists & Influencer Manager, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop, manage and deliver complex projects in support of Save the Children's campaigns. This is an exciting role where you will get to engage with artists and influencers for various exciting campaigns including Christmas Jumper Day.

You will work with the rest of the A&I team to build a strong roster of high-profile supporters, influencers and ambassadors, stewarding them to become passionate advocates for children's rights, delivering audience cut-through, fundraising objectives and helping build Save the Children's brand.

In this role, you will: 

• Alongside the A&I team, be responsible for identifying and delivering the right blend of high profile personalities to support projects, activities and objectives across PR, digital, events, campaigning, partnerships and other. 
• Spot opportunities and devise A&I activations that raise awareness and visibility of Save the Children amongst key target audiences with the aim of recruiting new supporters and encouraging them to take action. 
• Develop and maintain relationships with current artists and influencers, developing their involvement with Save the Children in creative and innovative ways.
• Target and recruit new A&I supporters, whilst nurturing long term relationships with a view where relevant, to eventual commitment on Ambassador level.  Keep up to date with supporters' broader schedules, spotting new opportunities for engagement as they arise.
• Write and present inspiring proposals for artists, agents, managers and publicists, creating and defining the right pitch for the right potential ambassador.

• Experience of working with digital influencers including building content and delivering activations.

Head of Lotteries and Gaming

The Head of Lotteries and Gaming will lead the charities Lotteries and Gaming team which has the goal of generating and inspiring support from both new and existing supporters.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop a clear vision and strategy to deliver sustainable income growth within the Lotteries and Gaming channel.
• Drive and oversee all day-to-day activity around lotteries and gaming, ensuring campaigns are effectively coordinated and that broader teams are enabled to support delivery
