The Diocese of Carlisle is looking for a Programme Manager (Maternity Cover) who will:

• Be the Programme Manager for The Cumbrian Way programme including:

o Working closely with the Programme Director to ensure all aspects of programme management are undertaken

o Accountability for the adherence to the Programme Management Office’s programme management systems to assess and ensure budget, risks, issues, progress and impact are reported and escalated in a timely and appropriate manner

o Coordinating the project managers across the programme

o Oversee the management of the Projects and Programme Board and annual reporting

o Have oversight of all aspects of the programme in order to make connections and insights into the work as it progresses.

o Reporting on agreed outcomes by collecting, collating and presenting information as part of programme reporting and monitoring & evaluation

o Support the Programme Director as a point of contact for the national team and in quarterly reporting to the Projects and Programmes Board and other governance group updates

• Support the Church Planting Consultant with project management of the Church Plant workstream, including:

o maintaining & updating project plans/timelines

o monitoring, reporting and reviewing the effectiveness of the project work

o accounting for risk mitigation and issue resolution

o advising and collaborating on project communications

o reporting on agreed outcomes and impact by collecting, collating and presenting information as part of project/programme reporting and monitoring & evaluation

o meeting with the church plant consultant on a regular (at least monthly) basis.

o actively managing the project budget

o supporting local church planting teams with budget claims and outcome reporting

• Oversee the programme management of all areas of the Reaching Deeper SDF funded programme
• Be principal point of contact and manage the relationship with the diocesan research partner, including managing payment drawn downs, agreed pieces of work/briefs and outputs to be delivered.
• Lead and oversee the data collection and impact for diocesan Parish Returns data collection
• Line manage the God for All Programme Management Office team

This is a part time position for 24hrs per week (0.69FTE), fixed term until December 2026.

As Neighbourhood - Senior Organiser at Pembroke House you will be someone who is highly skilled and experienced at bringing together diverse groups of people to take collective action on local issues.

You’ll have the ability to blend organising and community-building strategies, knowing that we can’t build power without building community and that community is often built through a common cause.

You’ll be excited to bring your organising and facilitation skills to our existing community programmes, including the Walworth Living Room - a new ‘third space’ for the community, as well as playing a crucial role in developing new partnerships and future areas of our work. 

If this job is done well, residents will be growing their skills and capacity to collaborate, groups will be building momentum, and beginning to take action to effect change in the neighbourhood. Pembroke House’s role and approach to supporting neighbourhood change will be further clarified, codified and evidenced. 

Person Specification

You’ll be an energetic person who thrives on making new connections and can inspire others to take action. As an experienced facilitator you will be confident facilitating groups and at ease with designing and adapting formal and informal training sessions appropriate to the context.

Your experience MUST include facilitating groups who don’t already hold a common and agreed set of values. So while academic or activist settings may form a significant part of your experience, it is essential to have worked in a mixed community or neighbourhood setting, where you regularly encountered and brought together a range of contrasting viewpoints, which included views substantially different to your own.

A knowledge of community organising methodology (see for example Act Build Change or Citizen’s UK) is useful, but there may also be other approaches or experiences that you could draw on for this role. You will be curious and keen to learn about the history of community organising and community development at Pembroke House, and keen to build on and contribute to the development of that work.

Solace Women’s Aid is delighted to be the lead partner for this innovative cross-borough project, funded by MOPAC. We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Psychologist to use their knowledge and skills in psychological theory and practice to support non-clinical advocates working with women experiencing VAWG and severe and multiple disadvantage.

About you

You will have experience working as a clinical, counselling or forensic psychologist. Your role will include fostering trauma-informed practice in the project, providing clinical support to non-clinical advocates through conducting ongoing Reflective Practice and clinical supervision.

You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the intersection between severe and multiple disadvantage and VAWG and a strong understanding of how this can make it difficult for women to engage with support. You will have worked with people experiencing various aspects of severe and multiple disadvantage: homelessness, substance use, mental health issues, insecure immigration status, prostitution, offending history and children taken into Care.

Step-Out Mentoring is an early intervention mentoring organisation that provides support for children and young people in the heart of South London through outdoor based 1:1 mentoring and group workshops. We work with children and young people aged 8-18 who are disengaged with education and/or life, referred to our service from Social care, GP’s, Mental health services and schools. Our mentors are all volunteers from the community who are trained to become youth mentors and matched to young people for weekly mentoring sessions.

Our mission is to equipe young people with the skills and emotional resilience to thrive in life. We provide a safe environment for disengaged children and young people to work through their challenges and reconnect with the community.

As a small and growing charity our staff team are embedded in all aspects of the work we do so it is encouraged that all staff engage in the activities with the young people including trips, residentials, mentoring and workshops.

Purpose of the role

The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) is an international conservation charity, driven by science, working to protect and restore wildlife in the UK and around the world. We have nearly 150,000 ZSL Zoo Members, who made over 680,000 visits to our conservation zoos – London and Whipsnade Zoo, last year, bringing us over £10 million of income; so they play a key role in supporting ZSL’s important conservation work.

The Membership Marketing Manager leads the growth and engagement of the organisation’s Zoo membership base, developing and delivering strategies that drive acquisition, retention, and long-term value. Working collaboratively across teams, the role ensures seamless, insight-led journeys that convert visitors into loyal members and supporters, underpinned by effective CRM communications and data-driven campaign delivery to maximise income and lifetime value.

This is a 12-month maternity cover role with the emphasis on the membership management elements. The position offers hybrid working, with at least one day per week spent in the office to connect with the team (Tuesdays).

Key responsibilities:

• Strategy and growth: Lead the development and delivery of a data-driven membership marketing strategy to grow acquisition, retention, and member value across all channels.
• Collaboration and partnerships: Build strong cross-team and supplier partnerships to enhance supporter experiences, operational efficiency, and member value.

• Knowledge of ticketing/CRM platforms (e.g. Spektrix, Tessitura, or Salesforce).
• Confident using performance and customer data to develop actionable marketing plans.
• Familiar with customer databases and developing membership customer journeys.
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable experience of sourcing, managing, negotiating and liaising with suppliers.
