The Event Coordinator (Programmes) will coordinate the planning, delivery and evaluation of event programmes and provide administrative support to volunteer Scientific Programme Committees (SPC), with a particular focus on our flagship biennial World Congress. About the role and you
This is a key role in a fast-paced, collaborative communications and advocacy team helping to deliver real impact in the prevention of offline and online child sexual abuse across the UK.
As a communications all-rounder, you’ll report to the Communications Manager and support colleagues across the team to deliver engaging, accessible and effective communications that help prevent child sexual abuse.
You’ll play a vital role in supporting our digital channels, campaigns and content creation - from social media and newsletters to website updates and printed materials. You’ll help us maintain a consistent, engaging and professional presence across our communication platforms and contribute to us achieving greater awareness of our work.
Here are some of the skills we’re looking for and we’re happy to support the right candidate to grow and learn on the job:
- You’ll be confident using social media to reach different audiences and be able to design multimedia content that’s engaging and on-brand.
- You’ll be a strong writer and editor, able to tailor content for different platforms and audiences - from short social posts to longer-form blogs and newsletters.
- You’ll be familiar with website content management systems (like WordPress) and ideally have some experience with paid digital campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, Meta).
- You’ll be organised and proactive, able to juggle multiple tasks and support colleagues across different projects and teams.
- You’ll be comfortable using data and analytics to evaluate and improve communications.
- You’ll be a team player with a positive attitude, keen to learn and contribute to our organisation’s mission.

As a key member of the Creative Content team, the Senior Graphic Designer will lead on and produce all aspects of creative design and branded materials. The Graphic Designer will lead on creating engaging designs for a variety of briefs from ideation through to concepts development, design and final creative products for Islamic Reliefs fundraising, marketing, advocacy, UK programmes campaigns and initiatives.

The role involves creating and developing visual assets across multiple channels, including direct mail packs, posters, leaflets, project booklets, fundraising materials and emergency appeal communications, social media graphics, digital ads, event marketing materials, advocacy campaign assets, website visuals, and published reports. The post holder will also occasionally support video production for campaigns.

The successful candidate must have:
- A qualification or relevant experience in Graphic Design
- Proven experience of producing designs from ideation, concepts through to final creative assets

About the role
Are you a strategic communications professional who can lead a team and shape an organisation’s external profile?
We are looking for a Communications Manager to lead and develop Equation’s communications function. This is a strategic role focused on building our brand and external profile, managing a talented team, and ensuring all parts of the organisation have the communications support they need.
You will line manage a team of four, including two Coordinators, a Project Worker and a Freelance Resource Worker. Your role is to provide strategic direction, set targets and quality assure outputs – not to do the day-to-day delivery yourself. You will develop and implement our communications strategy, support other workstreams with their communications needs, and work with colleagues including our new Corporate Partnerships Manager to ensure consistent, high-quality messaging.
This role also has an important sector leadership element. You will chair the DSVA Communications Group, working with communications colleagues from partner organisations across Nottinghamshire to coordinate joint campaigns and messaging.
You do not need to have worked in the domestic abuse sector before, but you do need to be an experienced communications professional who can think strategically, manage people well and maintain high standards across everything we put out.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience of managing a team

- Has managed brand and external profile for an organisation
- Understands digital communications including social media, websites and email marketing

About the Role
