As our Partnership Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our partner relationships while ensuring we surpass our income targets. In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with team members on corporate partnerships, overseeing bespoke activities and initiatives.
• Offer administrative and fundraising support to various corporate partnerships and the senior leadership team.
• Take ownership of the match giving process, maximizing income opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM system to facilitate cross-selling opportunities.
• Serve as the primary contact point for fundraising during emergencies, ensuring swift action and support.
• Coordinate with internal teams to manage key communications and initiatives.
• Update and manage Save the Children's website Partnership pages.
• Maintain and enhance systems and processes for the Partnerships Team.

 To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Previous experience in fundraising, marketing, PR, or media environments.
• Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to write briefs, copy, and reports for various audiences.
• Proven ability to excel within a high-performing team.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
• Strong project management, organizational, and coordination abilities.

The Ripple Pond is a charity that supports adult family members of physically and/or psychologically injured British Armed Forces personnel and veterans. Many of these individuals and family members are hard to reach and often isolated.

Your role will be to ensure that more and more of the military community, professionals and other interested parties know who we are and how to access our support.

You will also help to organise our exciting programme of online talks and activities for our Members (service-users) to help ensure they are well-informed, involved and feel part of a supportive community. Making sure that Members are always involved in generating ideas and production.

We are looking for someone who is dynamic and determined, but you also need to be invested in our mission as a charity and care about people.

This role is about;

• working with a wide range of groups and individuals to help raise awareness of the charity and to create opportunities to identify new Members (service users);

• being responsible for networking, identifying, and establishing partnerships with key individuals and organisations and nurturing existing relationships;

• developing and rolling out strategies to engage with hard-to-reach and isolated military carers and families;

• coordinating a range of activities (mainly online) to deliver information to Members, potential Members, referrers, and other stakeholders. These will include online talks from staff, Members and other “subject matter experts”; and

• helping to ensure the charity continues to understand the developing needs of its Members.

Although the role is home-based, you will not be working in isolation; you will be supported by the managers and workforce.

All our staff are home-based, and we maintain a strong caring culture of teamwork, mutual support and promoting wellbeing at work.

You may be exposed to traumatic narratives from our Membership, for many this is a reality in their lives. We do provide an extensive framework of clinical and managerial support but you do need to be an emotionally and psychologically resilient individual.

The Partnership Manager role will report to the CEO and sit within the Business Development Team.

The Role 
 
As our Communications Officer, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a wide range of communications that contribute to increased brand awareness of the charity, demonstrate the charity’s expertise and impact, educate the public about cancer prevention, signs, symptoms and screening and support the generation of income for the charity. 

Specifically, you will: 

• Plan, research, create and distribute creative media content, including press releases, blog posts, case studies and videos, to support research, services, cancer insight, fundraising, events, retail, corporate partnerships and campaigns. 

• Proactively seek, identify and engage in media opportunities, such as attending events, organising photo opportunities and meeting face-to-face with case studies.

• Manage third-party suppliers such as photographers and film production agencies, obtaining quotes, providing clear briefings and ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget.

• Respond to press enquiries efficiently and to a high standard. Understand which media enquiries are appropriate for the charity’s brand and key messages and those which are not, so that the charity prioritises only those which are value-adding. 

• Organise TV, radio and press interview opportunities for the Chief Executive, Directors and Heads of. Prepare clear briefings for interviewees. 

• Demonstrate and convey professionalism at all times and represent the charity when communicating with the media, members of the public, volunteers and supporters to demonstrate the charity’s core values.

• Monitor and evaluate the charity’s media coverage and the digital impact of PR content, providing a monthly media clippings report. 

• Provide PR input to the charity’s Leadership Team, Board reports and performance dashboards. 

• Maintain continuous awareness of industry news and regularly update colleagues on key developments. 

 
About You 

To be considered for this role, you will need: 

• To be educated to a degree or equivalent level of education or have relevant experience in a similar role at a similar level. 

• Previous media experience, whether through journalism or a PR / in house media assistant role. 

• Experience in building relationships with colleagues and journalists and managing media opportunities such as interviews, broadcast opportunities and photocalls. 

• An ability to write compelling copy for multiple audiences, and media channels, often translating complicated information into a format that is easily understood by readers. 

• An agile media mind, able to spot the key storyline that will maximise the possibility of media coverage and attract the attention of the media. 

• An evaluative mindset, supporting continual improvement by analysing coverage and associated data from media activity. 

• An ability to keep a calm head when faced with a reactive media situation in a manner that best protects the reputation of the charity 

• A thoughtful and empathetic outlook, able to engage with people affected by cancer with sensitivity and respect.

The Press and Media Relations Officer represents the work of SCIE, acting as the point of contact for members of the press and other media representatives. Our Job Retention team accept self-referrals from people whose mental health is impacting them at work and who have either support from Devon Partnership Trust IPS service or who have spoken with their GP about their mental health. We offer a service to people who live within the Torbay, Teignbridge, and the South Hams area. Devon Partnership Trust staff Devon wide can also access our confidential Job Retention Service.  You’ll need to be a proactive coach who is able to ensure that customers receive timely and efficient support that meets their individual needs.  You’ll need to have drive, determination and motivation to encourage and inspire and have a naturally creative and empathetic nature.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete a holistic assessment with individuals to establish their employment needs.

Main Purpose and Scope of the Role

The Marketing and Communications Manager will be highly motivated, and results driven. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a strategy to enhance Action4Youths profile. This role is key in promoting brand awareness, engaging audiences, driving traffic and will enable the success of increased sales and fundraising.

You will lead on the creation of engaging content plans to promote Action4Youth’s work to multiple audiences, across multiple channels including PR, web, social media, e comms and print to increase engagement amongst partners, supporters and donors.

This job combines management responsibilities with being hands on and will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who is practical and able to get things done effectively.

Key areas of responsibility:

Strategy

• Supported by the Development Director, lead on the development and implementation of our marketing and communications strategy to position the charity and influence its many audiences.
• Develop engaging campaigns and events, from inception to implementation, to grow brand awareness, sales of our programmes and facilitate community fundraising.

· Lead on the formation of engaging and creative project plans to activate successful campaigns across all channels.

Marketing

· Take overall responsibility for the production and implementation of creative and compelling multimedia content, including, scheduling, reporting and analysis for driving and improving results.

· Analyse and report performance metrics and insights by producing regular performance, reach, engagement, conversions, and ROI reports in order to monitor the effectiveness of digital activity.

· Ensure the website works for optimum customer and visitor journey to improve analytics and ensure content and pages are easily accessible.

· Create and co-ordinate digital advertising and email marketing activity to support campaigns and organisational goals and provide reports to monitor effectiveness.

• Collate and prepare all marketing materials for a range of print collateral to support the charities work and define distribution and dissemination channels.

Communications

· Be the PR and media lead by planning, developing, and implementing PR and media strategies.

• Generate story-worthy press releases to facilitate coverage, increase awareness of all areas of service provision and elevate campaigns.

· Work collaboratively with the media and build strong relationships with key press and community figures via networking and events.

• Plan press and photo opportunities and attend events to optimise engagement.
• Develop and implement regular E-comms to different audiences by building strong and compelling email campaigns.

Other

· Monitor and report on performance against monthly KPIs and objectives and ensure planned expenditure is within budget.

• Monitor and evaluate the success of all marketing activities and use outcomes to inform and shape the future of our initiatives.
• Oversee media monitoring systems
• and ensure compliance with GDPR/Data Protection.

Experience of collating and utilising analytics to inform future development.

The Senior Designer will play a crucial role in raising brand awareness and creating and implementing designs that effectively communicate our charity’s vision and brand image.

Main Responsibilities:

- Ensure all marketing collateral, channels and communications are on brand, consistent, and employ best practice.
- Lead on the creation of all campaign visual identities collaborating with the Design Officer.
- Lead and manage all design projects, from conception to delivery.
- Champion our brand guidelines, advising teams on how best to implement these.
- Design printed assets, including leaflets, posters, flyers, large-scale OOH, appeal and raffle door drops.
- Produce digital assets for social media campaigns, website, programmatic advertising and email marketing.
