We are thrilled to be working in partnership with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) to find their new Digital Marketing and Supporter Acquisition Officer.
MAF is an inspiring Christian charity, utilising the power of light aircraft to bring help, hope, and healing to over 25 countries worldwide. For over 75 vibrant years, MAF aircraft have soared through challenging skies, conquering inaccessible terrains to serve as lifelines, transporting mission and development personnel, and delivering urgent aid and medical supplies to remote and isolated communities. As they continue to navigate these dynamic landscapes, they are on the lookout for a passionate and driven individual to join their supportive and friendly team as their Digital Marketing and Supporter Acquisition Officer.
As the new Digital Marketing and Supporter Acquisition Officer you’ll be joining a small and passion filled team, igniting both online and offline marketing campaigns, growing MAF’s visibility and attracting a wave of fresh supporters and donors. This role isn't just about coordinating tasks—it's about orchestrating thrilling initiatives, forging partnerships with external collaborators for impactful advertising, and crafting captivating content across diverse channels.
In this incredibly fulfilling and creative position, you'll serve as a beacon of hope, using your creativity to provide crucial aid to communities in need. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in CMS software, including WordPress and CRM systems
- Experience in crafting digital marketing and acquisition campaigns
- Familiarity with analytics tools and utilising insights for communication strategies
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Individual Giving & Engagement Manager, an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious, growing, and vital medical research Charity, based in Central London. Hybrid working; 2 days per week office based, 3 days per week working from home.
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Individual Giving Fundraiser, looking for a role where you can make a significant impact to an Individual Giving program, and join an ambitious Fundraising team?
Due to heavy investment and ambitious growth plans across Individual Giving & Engagement, this newly created role will play a pivotal role in achieving key objectives and income targets across the Individual Giving & Engagement program.
As the Individual Giving & Engagement Manager, reporting to the Head of Individual Giving & Engagement, working closely with the Supporter Engagement Manager and Digital Marketing Officer and wider marketing team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of Individual Giving & Engagement products across single, regular, prize-led, payroll, legacy and in-memory giving.
You will be responsible for the management of these products and campaigns, the planning and implementation of these campaigns in consultation with the Head of Individual Giving & Engagement. You will lead on the management and development of projects and campaigns to acquire and increase the value and loyalty of new and existing supporters across both digital and direct channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy: In collaboration with the Head of Individual Giving and Engagement, develop a strategy for your portfolio of Individual Giving & Engagement campaigns and projects. Contribute to the overall annual planning process and the direction for the Individual Giving & Engagement programme across cash giving, regular giving, prize-led, legacy and in-memory products and channels.
- Planning; Work with the Head of Individual Giving and Engagement and Supporter Engagement Manager on the development of the acquisition programmes inc., contact, engagement, and lead generation strategies.
- Innovation & Product Development; Manage a continuous test and learn cycle of new channels based on audience insight and sector learnings and trends.
- Internal Stakeholder relationships: Brief, monitor and manage internal stakeholders’ relationships for Individual Giving campaigns and projects. Identify opportunities, make recommendations, and create plans for the cross-sell of Individual Giving & Engagement campaigns across all existing audiences.
- External Stakeholder management: Account manage suppliers/agencies to maximise value and ROI for services and campaigns. Brief, manage and monitor performance of suppliers and where appropriate periodically review.
- Financial Management: In line with the strategy, produce commentary for annual budgets and monthly reforecasts for review and sign off by Head of Individual Giving and Engagement.
To be successful within this very exciting Individual Giving & Engagement Manager role, our client is looking for you to have proven experience and knowledge of;
- Developing, managing, and delivering Individual Giving Campaigns (acquisition and retention) across a variety of direct and digital channels and across a wide range of products, such as; single giving, regular giving campaigns across cause-led and prize-led campaigns.
- Project management of campaigns, developing, monitoring and evaluating acquisition and retention campaigns within agreed timescales and budgets. Reporting results and make recommendations to improve performance.
- Managing, monitoring, and reviewing external suppliers and agencies.
- Creative thinking and innovation in the development of processes, supporter communications and fundraising products.

Tommy’s offer a flexible working environment with a 50:50 office and home working pattern based in London.
Reporting into the Deputy Marketing Director, the Senior Strategic Marketing Manager will provide expertise to implement an integrated performance marketing programme, helping to raise awareness and familiarity of Tommy’s with our target audiences, grow our active supporter base and increase donations.
The role will lead digital supporter acquisition, working closely with the brand marketing team to deliver supporter-centred, creative marketing campaigns and activity across a range of channels.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and develop Tommy’s supporter acquisition strategy taking an audience-first approach to activity, using a range of tactics including paid digital, SEO and email.
· Lead the team to manage and optimise paid campaigns across platforms including search, social, and other relevant channels to maximise brand engagement and income.
· With a focus on acquisition, work alongside the Supporter Engagement Manager to keep new and existing supporter journeys updated and on brand.
· Develop creative, engaging content in line with our content and channel strategies for campaigns and projects, working closely with the wider marketing and fundraising.
· Support an integrated cross-departmental approach with Tommy’s individual giving, mass fundraising and partnership fundraising teams to support income generation and growth.
· Work in collaboration with fundraising project teams in the development and marketing of new products, events and campaigns, providing marketing expertise at every stage of the process from inception to delivery.
· Champion a supporter-first approach, rooted in audience insight.
· Use data and insights to map and analyse audience behaviour to inform marketing and fundraising activity (GA4, brand insights, market research).
· Analyse and use data insight to implement continual improvements and optimisations to campaigns and initiatives to hit OKRs.
· Support in creating and updating tracking dashboards to monitor performance
Person Specification:
· Experienced with project management.
· Strong performance marketing experience (including paid social media advertising, PPC, SEO)
· Knowledge of social media content strategies across paid and organic.
· Delivery against budgets.
· Experience of building lasting relationships with a range of stakeholders.
· Content management systems (ideally Drupal).
· Adobe creative suite.
· E-news platform skills (Adestra or equivalent).
· Database (Raiser’s Edge or equivalent).
· Editorial skills, ability to adapt content and tone of voice as required.
