Audience Manager- Church Mobilisation - Remote
Salary: (UK) £36,674 plus benefits (Our pay philosophy ensures consistency across locations and salaries. The starting salary for this opportunity plus benefits depends on location of the candidate).
We are recruiting for a dynamic, mission aligned leader to join us as Audience Manager – Church Mobilisation. This is a new, pivotal role in strengthening our connection with Churches globally and helping to grow our worldwide movement.
Reporting to our Audience Growth Lead, you will lead the development and delivery of a bold Church Mobilisation Strategy that raises awareness of Mary’s Meals, builds trust and inspires meaningful support across parishes, religious communities, Church affiliated schools, higher education settings and major global events.
Collaborating widely across our Growth team and National Affiliate network to implement this strategy, you will guide the creation of compelling resources, oversee our presence at faith events and act as our internal expert on engaging Church audiences, drawing on your experience in faith-based or community engagement. Your leadership will support our National Affiliates to grow their local Church engagement, deepen relationships and help bring our mission to life for new and existing supporters.
You will:
- Shape and lead our global Church Mobilisation Strategy, ensuring it reflects our values and resonates across diverse cultural and faith-based contexts.
- Build strong partnerships with National Affiliates, supporting them to deliver impactful Church engagement programmes within their local communities.
- Strengthen our visibility within Church networks by coordinating Mary’s Meals’ presence at key faith-based events and identifying new opportunities for meaningful participation.
- Create inspiring resources and materials that equip parishes, schools and Church organisations to connect with and champion our mission.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Marketing, Communications and Product teams to ensure Church audiences remain central to campaigns, messaging and product development.
- Oversee Mary’s Meals’ presence at major international faith events.
- Cultivate new relationships with religious orders, Church movements, higher education institutions and influential faith-based networks.
- Gather insights and monitor emerging trends, using data and feedback to continually refine and improve our approach.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience of working with faith-based or community groups, with a passion for engaging communities in meaningful mission driven work.
- Proven experience of developing strategies, building partnerships and delivering programmes, ideally within fundraising, community engagement or organisations working closely with the Church or faith-based communities.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working across cultures and contexts, able to inspire and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with a creative approach to developing compelling resources, messaging and experiences and you will be energised by opportunities to design, build and deliver new initiatives.
- Experience of delivering engaging presentations to diverse audiences, with comfort in acting as an ambassador for Mary’s Meals at events.
- A strong solutions focus, self-motivation and drive to deliver results.

Additional Information:
This role may require travel to locations where Mary’s Meals operates, and you will be required to register with the Protected Vulnerable Group Scheme or local equivalent before undertaking your role.
