The Berkshire MS Therapy Centre (BMSTC)- who we are:
Our mission is "to support the physical health and mental wellbeing of local people living with Multiple Sclerosis", not just now but for the rest of their lives.
Our purpose-built Therapy Centre in Reading serves and strengthens the MS community across Berkshire and adjoining counties. We are a self-funded charity with no NHS or central government support and must raise £700,000 each year to operate. We were therefore thrilled recently to receive a King's Award for Voluntary Service, equivalent to an MBE, in recognition of our service to the community.
We provide practical help - including neuro-physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, footcare, counselling and a range of complementary therapies to help manage symptoms. We also run very popular "live" online exercise and mindfulness sessions. This year, we delivered over 15,000 treatments to more than 400 families.

For more than ten years, Cambridge Science Centre (CSC) has been sparking
curiosity and a love of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) in
young people across the East of England.
Job Description
This role is central to positioning CSC as the leading small-to-medium-sized science
centre and STEM engagement organisation in the UK. Working with the CEO and
Directors, you will help identify opportunities, shape CSC’s marketing strategy, and
translate that into an objective-led plan of action. You will be responsible for all CSC
marketing campaigns and activity, owning the brand and its development across all
key audiences, including the public, community groups, teachers and school leaders,
corporate CSR teams, and educational grant providers.
You will lead CSC’s marketing partnerships and publicity channels, including the
website, social media, YouTube, and press contacts. You will set the strategic

Key Responsibilities

Main duties and responsibilities
This is a generic job description that covers all the different roles of an industrial officer.
1. Bargaining
- Develop a bargaining agenda with activists and members, ensuring all bargaining activities are informed by the PCS equality agenda, policies and practices
- Take responsibility for negotiations with the management of civil service departments, agencies, public and private sector employers including pay and conditions of service of PCS members
- Represent PCS at joint meetings with management and other trade unions

At our North West London Home, we are recruiting a Head of Kennels who will share our compassion and commitment for animal welfare to provide front line leadership to our team of Kennel and Animal Care staff and volunteers. We care for up to fifteen dogs on site, in addition to dogs placed into foster homes. Our Head of Kennels is responsible for managing the day-to-day smooth running of our kennels and maintaining the wellbeing of all dogs in our care, so that their individual physical and psychological needs are catered for adequately, and in line with our standards and ethics.
This is a high profile and hugely important role for Mayhew as our Head of Kennels oversees each dog's journey through Mayhew from in-take to assessment and then to rehoming. Working with staff and volunteers across the Home, foster carers, adopters, other charities and rescues and members of the public, our Head of Kennels is instrumental in ensuring that our dogs have all they need - from feeding, exercising, cleaning, and socialising to finding their perfect forever home. This role can be physically and emotionally demanding but is also hugely rewarding; you can view some of our amazing rescue stories here.
Leading a small team, our Head of Kennels is responsible for managing all aspects of our dog in-takes, adoptions, fostering and Pet Refuge (read more here), managing our capacity to ensure we help as many dogs as we can and ensuring our dogs are rehomed to a home suited to their individual needs as soon as possible.

We are recruiting a new Prospect Research Manager to join our team on a part time, permanent basis for 3 days per week (22.5 hours). We only ask for this role that you can commit to 1 day in our London Office per week, plus attend any other meetings when required.
The Prospect Research Manager will lead the development and delivery of prospect research to strengthen Mencap’s pipelines for trust, philanthropy and corporate fundraising teams in order to enable sustained income growth. Reporting into the Senior Philanthropy Manager, this post works closely with trust, corporate and philanthropy teams whilst working regularly with teams across fundraising, including community, events, fundraising operations and legacy teams.
Core responsibilities:
· Devise and implement targeted prospecting strategies to identify and qualify potential trust, statutory, corporate and philanthropy prospects.
· Support fundraisers through prospect management, portfolio development and network mapping.
· Deliver insightful prospect research to inform cultivation and engagement strategies.
· Maximise use of CRM system (Salesforce) and analytical tools to deliver high-quality reporting and to support forecasting and pipeline planning.
· Monitor and interpret external and internal trends and influences to ensure Mencap’s prospect pipelines are managed optimally.
· Work collaboratively to identify and qualify potential philanthropic donors from across the fundraising directorate.
· Deliver training to fundraisers on matters of prospect research, as the need arises.
Your Experience
· Strong understanding of the UK philanthropy, trust and corporate giving landscapes, including trends, motivators and vehicles for giving.
· Detailed knowledge of research tools and techniques including wealth analysis in a fundraising environment.
· Understanding of the regulatory landscape in which research exists, and the need for compliance and sensitivity.
· Established experience in delivering prospect research within the charity sector, with a track record in identifying and qualifying prospects across philanthropy, corporate and/or trust markets.
· Curiosity, creativity and innovation in exploring new sources, methods and connections.
· Skilled communicator, able to present complex insights clearly, persuasively and succinctly. Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
· Extensive knowledge of compliance requirements including GDPR, Fundraising Code of Practice and others.

Reporting to our Head of Student Representation and Partnerships, your main responsibilities will be to lead, coordinate, and evaluate student‑led campaigns that turn Bath Spa students’ priorities and lived experiences into visible, inclusive, and impactful action - empowering Sabbatical Officers, student leaders, and networks to deliver on their commitments.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to facilitate campaign planning, create and manage campaign timelines, content plans, and event logistics, coordinate visibility across digital channels and campus spaces. You’ll also translate Advice Centre insights and feedback into campaign briefs and advocacy actions (e.g., policy proposals, open letters, meetings with university stakeholders). You may also provide training/mentoring for student leaders on campaigning, inclusive practice, and impact measurement.
