As a Specialist Housing Partner you’ll provide a high quality, efficient, effective housing and support service to customers that live in their Specialist Housing Schemes including Independent Living Schemes, enabling them to feel safe and supported to live well and independently for as long as possible. With a focus on building management, tenancy management and keeping tenants safe in their homes, you’ll provide comprehensive support including support planning at critical points and ensure any issues are resolved in the first instance whilst maintaining professional boundaries.

- Develop the project plan and ensure that the right governance structure for project management is in place and RSPB internal project management practices are followed, so that the project stays on track, comes in on budget and risks are identified, escalated, and managed within tolerances.
- Work with local environmental networks to build a picture of nature-based activities available and identify opportunities for partnership working.
- Lead on developing ways to evaluate and measure the impact of the project, including engaging with those prescribing and local communities to gather stories and case studies that demonstrate the benefits to wellbeing and connectedness to nature.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

Abbots Bank is a mental health, supported housing and community based service, working to a recovery model. We provide a range of support services for people with mental ill health to access in their local community, including outreach support, peer support and supported housing. Richmond Fellowship is part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence. From 1st June 2024 Richmond Fellowship will be merging with the mental health charity Humankind to form a single organisation that provides the joined-up mental health, housing and drug and alcohol support we’ve all known has been needed for decades. In October 2024, Humankind will then be renamed to reflect the new, bigger and better organisation.
We are seeking to recruit an individual with knowledge and skills in health and care: to help us embed moving more into wider health and care pathways supporting the Integrated Care Partnership Strategy.
Salary: NJC Point 30 -37, Band F, £38,223 - £45,441 p.a. pro rata (salary to be at entry level except for exceptional circumstances)
Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2025 (potential for extension subject to funding and open to flexible working arrangements e.g. secondments, job share, etc).

This is a full-time role (37 hours per week), but job shares and reduced hours will be considered as part of our commitment to flexible working. Working days will predominantly be Monday to Friday, but occasional evening/weekend work may be required.
We have permanent office space in the National Squash Centre in Manchester, and regular team and co-working days in venues across Greater Manchester, blended with homeworking. We trust you to work in a way that suits you and that enables you to be productive and happy.
