Job Purpose

To oversee the day-to-day delivery of CQC registered high quality dignified residential care and support services promoting respect, equality and the independence of the people supported.

Principal Accountabilities

• Efficiently manage the day-to-day delivery of the adult residential care home service
• Manage staffing levels to ensure sufficient numbers of suitably qualified staff.
• Effectively manage the staff team providing information, guidance and on-going supervision and performance management reviews.

The Head of Scotland and Northern Ireland is responsible for leading our vision to end the need for food banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Scotland currently leads the way in having a rights-based, progressive agenda to ending the need for food banks, but there is much to do to ensure political intentions become a reality. This role directs Trussell Trust’s policy and public affairs work in Scotland and Northern Ireland, leads our Scotland and Northern Ireland department as they support our network of food banks and works strategically with key partners to tackle the underlying reasons why people need to come to food banks.

Role responsibilities 

• Lead the delivery of the Trussell Trust strategy for ending the need for food banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland, working to embed the Changing Communities, Changing Minds and Changing Policy programmes across the network, including through providing strategic support for the effective delivery of the Pathfinder, FI and organising programmes in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The RSCM is on a mission to enable the flourishing of church music, and in particular to get children singing.

Working across the whole charity, you will work to sell existing products, courses and events, as well as membership subscriptions. With a passion for the power of singing and music, you will persuade musicians, teachers and members of church communities of the value of RSCM’s offerings. The post holder will be expected to work to actively drive sales of RSCM products such as ‘Hymnpact!’ (a singing resource aimed at encouraging singing in primary schools), sales of events such as singing courses, and membership subscriptions; and in some instances voluntary giving. Youth Engagement Officer
Location: Hybrid from our office in Stroud, Gloucestershire or remote based
Salary: £23,000 to £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 21 hours per week

We are looking for a Youth Engagement Officer to become an integral part of the Meningitis Now Communications and Fundraising team.

Young people are a key audience for Meningitis Now – and one where cases of meningitis are increasing. This role will be key in engaging with and raising awareness amongst young people across the UK. You will be responsible for developing content for our new TikTok channel, as well as moderating and finding ways to grow our audience. You will also play a key role in engaging young audiences with fundraising for Meningitis Now, helping to create new campaigns and explore new products to help us develop relationships with this important audience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To create content for TikTok and other social channels, working to our social media strategy.
• Report on social media performance and use this to inform future content.
• Create and manage paid advertising campaigns on TikTok.
• Community management of our TikTok channel, signposting to further information or support where necessary.
• Engage with our Believe & Achieve team and Volunteering team to collaborate with young people to create social content.
• Engage and build relationships with potential influencers/ambassadors who can help amplify our voice and messages.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and identify opportunities for Meningitis Now to engage with trends.
• Work closely with digital colleagues managing Meningitis Now’s other social platforms, to plan relevant content and ensure a joined-up approach.
• Identify and develop youth audience fundraising opportunities.
• Work with our Fundraisers to develop new products that appeal to young people.
• Increase Meningitis Now’s profile and support the delivery of the charity’s strategic aims.

What we're looking for

Skills and Experience

• Experience in marketing or social media.
• Experience creating content for social platforms, particularly TikTok.
• Experience using Canva and CapCut.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with different teams.
• Empathy, often working with individuals who have been affected by meningitis.

• Experience in the charity sector.

This is an exciting role supporting the Supporter Experience team in delivering an extensive portfolio of campaign selections and supporter journeys across the NSPCC. The team, which sits within the Communications division, is responsible for managing communications with warm supporters. The team works with Campaign Managers to use data effectively in supporter communications, ensuring supporters receive an excellent experience of the NSPCC.

This role will be responsible for planning and delivering supporter journeys and data selections for NSPCC campaigns, based on briefs developed with Campaign Managers and internal teams. This will primarily use FastStats, PeopleStage and Adestra, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.

The successful candidate will have experience of mailing selections and automated journey creation, as well as an understanding of how data can be applied to create complex and tailored supporter journeys using dynamic content, journey logic, personalisation and reporting. The successful candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills and be experienced in developing and maintaining working relationships across various teams.

The small yet busy Solution Delivery Team is expanding from six to ten employees, sitting within the IT Department. The team work within Cats Protection to identify issues and provide technical solutions, utilizing both off the shelf products or in-house developed solutions as required. Internal solutions are built using a range of technologies focused around the Azure Stack, including low code/no code solutions, C# and T-SQL code as required.

Responsibilities of our Solution Developer:

As a Solution Developer you will be working on a number of exciting new projects as well as helping to support and upgrade existing applications. This role gives the post holder exposure to Cloud First development work and the opportunity to work with the latest technology.

Current projects include:

• Updating our Neutering Finance system to move from a paperbased system towards an electronic version
• Replacing our CRM, a system at the heart of many of our processes and data flows, and integrating it with a number of new and existing systems
• The redevelopment/migration of existing systems into fully cloud based systems.

What we’re looking for in our Solution Developer:

• Significant experience in software development using C# and TSQL or another development skill involving systems implementation
• Experience in functional and automated testing, producing test driven development
• Demonstratable knowledge of Azure Stack development, specifically around pipelines, functions, logic apps and service buses
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• The ability to apply specific quality standards to all tasks undertaken to ensure that deliverables are accurate and complete
• To show understanding for the needs of the internal or external customer and keeping these in mind when taking actions or making decisions
• To identify gaps in the available information required to understand a problem or situation and able to devise a means of resolving them
