Job description

You have proven experience of working in a Finance department, where you’ve managed large data sets and identified and produced key management information . All you need is the perfect environment to put your skills to great use. Welcome to Richmond Fellowship as an Assistant Management Accountant.

Right now, we’re looking for a well-organised yet flexible individual to work with, and support, our Northern and group-wide Finance teams. As well as helping to deliver the Northern team’s management accounts however, we’ll rely on you to assist the wider Recovery Focus Finance team with the maintenance and management of property related costs for the Group’s estate. You’ll also be responsible for helping our Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable team to post various income and cost invoices onto our financial system (we use Workday) and maintain the standing data of that system. And, when it comes to carrying out various ad-hoc analyses that can be used for the next year budgeting process or help identify where there are cost-saving or process-improvement opportunities, again, we’ll count on you.

The ideal person for this challenging role will be part-qualified or preparing to study for a relevant professional CCAB qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA). And, if you’ve worked in the area of management accounting and budgetary control and/or accounting within the RSL sector, even better. Experience of trial balance management and scrutiny and working with Accruals and Prepayments would be useful too, while an understanding of accounting standards, rent accounting and managing reserves is essential. Proficient using Excel and comfortable managing conflicting demands and priorities on time, you have a relaxed attitude to working hours and, crucially, are willing to travel to various Group locations in order to get the hob done.
