Location: Home based with frequent travel to projects in Hucknall, Broxtowe-Aspley, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Mansfield and soon to be opening in Leicester in 2024.
As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate FoodCycle meals for your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run their own community meals using surplus food. You will manage local relationships with venues, community partners, supermarkets and volunteer recruitment channels to enable this to happen. You will continually be looking to increase our impact by working towards targets of increased meals served to our guests, expanding our existing Projects and setting up new ones within East Midlands.
An excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each Project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy. You will have experience of recruiting and managing volunteers, as well as programme development and delivery.
This role will require some attendance at our Community Meals projects, to support with delivery as necessary, which will include evening and weekend work. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this exciting role.
Benefits: We offer 26.5 working days (this includes 3.5 days for the Christmas close down) plus additional holiday for length of service, up to a maximum of 30 days (pro-rata for part-time). About the role:
This role is home-based and requires regular travel within the Cumberland area, due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. As a caseworker, you will:
Effectively manage a caseload of self-referrals or referred service users, delivering excellent services which support the commissioners and their service goals to victims.
Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions
Undertake risk and needs assessments to address the specific needs of the client in line with VS operating procedures. To follow relevant safeguarding policies and procedures, working with safeguarding leads and other agencies to ensure an integrated approach to address any safeguarding concerns.
Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate and understand the criminal justice process and ensure their rights are upheld in accordance with the Victims Code of Practice this could include criminal, legal and if relevant, civil remedies to service users.
You will need:
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or families
- Understanding and knowledge of an active commitment to promoting equal opportunities, inclusion and diversity
- Ability to work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner
- Understanding of confidentiality and safe working practices, in accordance with safeguarding and data protection legislation

- Good IT and administrative skills including the use of Microsoft Office packages

The coordinator roles are vital components of this project. We want to attract candidates from the North West of England with sound local knowledge and willing/able to travel in the region - these will be important parts of this job.
Purpose of the roles:
- To be responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of Neighbourhood Watch’s partner project involving Neighbourhood Watch volunteers within the North West.
- Delivering training to volunteers so they can deliver information sessions to community groups.
- Organising community events where information sessions are delivered by volunteers.
- Ensuring information sessions are delivered to the highest and consistent standards, and that feedback requests are acted upon swiftly.
Hours of employment are:

The Institutional Funding Manager will play an important role in SHA’s institutional income generation activities. Working closely with assigned country teams, the post-holder will support pipeline development, lead the development and writing of high-quality bids, donor engagement, and positioning for contract and grant opportunities. This role can either be based at our office in Blackpool, or in Ashburton Devon. Prior to the Al Haouz earthquake in September 2023 EFA funded six boarding houses, enabling young women to access senior school education. Five boarding houses were destroyed. Astonishingly, no girls or staff were in them at the time.
We are unashamedly ambitious to build on EFAs transformational work over the last two decades. Our Covid Recovery Strategy focussed on widening our impact, and the earthquake has just made us even more determined to deliver on our promise, because we have never been more relevant.

As Head of Fundraising & Communications you will work with the trustees to deliver the strategic vision, by developing and implementing a successful fundraising and communications strategy. About the role
The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the church and its buildings, with responsibility for: Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Fire Assessment, Risk Management, Infrastructure and Accessibility issues.
