Who we're looking for:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated stakeholder engagement specialist to work across our portfolio of programmes. The ideal candidate will be confident in building relationships with diverse stakeholders, particularly across the Education, Health and Social Care or Youth sectors, promoting our work and recruiting delegates to Ygam workshops. Outstanding communication skills, a strategic mindset and the ability to develop and implement engagement plans and projects are essential. Public speaking or training delivery experience would be beneficial. 

Main roles & responsibilities:

You will be responsible for stakeholder engagement across Ygam’s portfolio of programmes. You will develop long lasting relationships with schools, colleges and children’s services, promoting Ygam’s work and recruiting delegates to our workshops.

You will work across the programme team, developing relationships throughout the UK, training professionals to understand the impact and risks of gaming and gambling. You will also be responsible for promoting and marketing the work of Ygam at conferences and events.

You may, on occasion be required to arrange and deliver our City & Guilds assured workshops, both online and face to face and provide support to delegates post training, updating all relevant records and CRM systems.

The Trusts & Philanthropy Fundraising Manager role is a vital part of this vision and your excellent writing skills and relationship building will help us achieve our ambitions.

Working closely within our friendly and results driven Trusts and Philanthropy team, you will manage your own portfolio of charitable trusts and support the developing major donor and statutory funding relationships as required. You will be helping us Beat Macular Disease by talking with funders and writing bespoke funding applications for support services, medical research and core costs. Diligently recording all relationships information and communications on our database.

We are looking for a Fundraising Officer to lead the administration of CCT’s tiered membership programmes, annual and church-based appeals, legacies, and fundraising events. The Fundraising Officer will also support in the creation of marketing materials to support these initiatives.

Following the growth in audience development through online events and digital activity, CCT welcomed younger and international members and increased the number of donations. We have since witnessed decreased retention rates and are looking to implement methods to increase member and donor acquisition and retention. 

The role of the Fundraising Officer is vital to maintaining excellent service delivery across our core fundraising programmes and providing strong supporter care.

This role will support the organisational-wide aim to build a collaborative fundraising culture and ensure CCT’s buildings at risk are sustained for the appreciation and benefit of future generations.

How you will make a difference

Your role will enable smooth and efficient financial and administrative workflows at GFI Europe. Reporting to the Head of Operations, your work will fall under the following categories:

50% of time – Payment processing and bookkeeping

• Making payments correctly and on time with respect to invoices, direct debit setup, expense reimbursements, as well as salaries and payroll taxes.
• Day-to-day bookkeeping, including registering journal entries and all financial transactions in our accounting software (currently Quickbooks), and supporting monthly reconciliations. 
• Coordinating the calculation and payment of quarterly reverse-charged cross-border VAT payments.
• Where there are opportunities for improvement, working in partnership with colleagues from the Operations team to implement systems that facilitate easier and more efficient payment processes.

25% of time – Budget forecast and reporting

• Forecasting regular and recurring expenses for the annual budgeting process and for periodic budget reviews.
• Preparing monthly updates on budget spending per department / project.
• Collaborating with our Development team to track and report against restricted donations.
• Organising information needed for the Belgium annual financial audit process as well as for UK financial reporting. 

25% of time – General administration

• Supporting governance, compliance and reporting for our Belgium entity, as well as the UK branch of GFI Europe and potentially other entities in the future.
• Supporting other departments with contract administration by inputting partnership data in templates, filling in relevant forms, coordinating signatures, organising and keeping track of finalised agreements.
• Performing other tasks as required as a member of our small, dynamic team. 

Who we’re looking for

You must have:

Benefits and the fine print

• Terms of employment: Part-time (27-30 hours / week). Flexible working hours.
• Location: We can consider applicants based in the UK or Belgium. This is a remote role, and you will be able to work from home, or anywhere you choose (within the UK or Belgium). We are happy to consider supporting costs for co-working to enable you to work from an office if you wish. The whole GFI Europe team aims to get together in person approximately twice per year for around 3-5 days at a time. Travel costs will be covered by GFI Europe within our travel policy.

Hope for Justice is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional to join our UK Advocacy Team as an Independent Modern Slavery Advocate (IMSA), who is able to work directly with survivors, offering legal advocacy and specialist support and advice.

As an Independent Modern Slavery Advocate (IMSA), you will provide advocacy and victim services to survivors of modern slavery in the UK - managing a caseload, conducting assessments and developing pathways for survivors.

Key Result Areas:

• Progressing caseload from initial assessment to closure, addressing identified needs
• Building and maintaining partnerships with other organisations (including state and NGO) to create opportunities for survivors of modern slavery
• Supporting the Reforming Society agenda – providing evidence base for reform; providing advice and training, where necessary, to agencies in the community to improve responses to victims of modern slavery thus creating lasting structural change

Job Summary

To take the lead in ensuring that appropriate arrangements for keeping children, young people and adults at risk of harm safe are actioned at MHI as part of a Designated Safeguarding team covering the Shout platform 24/7. The role is responsible for promoting the safety and welfare of children and young people on our platform, being a consistent and reliable presence on the Shout platform, and advising Shout Supervisors on safeguarding actions and practise while raising and recording safeguarding issues as they arise. 

Key Responsibilities

• To act as an MHI Designated Safeguarding Officer.
• Contribute to developing and reviewing MHI’s safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
• Alongside the DSO, contribute to ensuring that everyone working or volunteering with or for children and young people at MHI, including the board of trustees, understands the safeguarding and child protection policy and procedures and knows what to do if they have concerns about a child’s welfare
• Take a lead role in implementing MHI’s safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures: ensuring all safeguarding and child protection issues concerning children and young people who take part in MHI’s activities are responded to appropriately
• Take the lead on responding to information that may constitute a child protection concern, including a concern that an adult involved with MHI may present a risk to children or young people. This includes:
  • assessing and clarifying the information
  • calling in and recording all safeguarding issues as they arise.

Main Responsibilities:

To work within the UK Programmes by providing support to Masjid Benchmarking, organising online Seminars, Support to Icare, Masjid Benchmarking, Education (Madaris) oversee and monitor Masjid Connect and Islamophobia monitoring, Publicity, supporting other areas of work of UKIM central team that may be delegated e.g. Imam CPD, Dawah, Tarbiyah.

• To support Masjid and Branch Improvement through enabling them to undertake the self-assessment audit and then to deliver a development day based on the self-audit.

• To organise training both face to face and online that will enable masjids and branches to develop and move forward in their work programme.

As a key member of the team, the Grants Officer will work closely with the Head of Charity and colleagues across the team to build a sustainable funding pipeline to help generate significant growth by securing grants by:

• Personally securing substantial gifts from Trusts and Foundations (up to £150k)
• Delivering income targets, in line with the annual budget, from a portfolio of Trusts and Corporate Foundations
• Responsibility for researching Trusts and Corporate Foundations in alignment with a wide variety of projects and appeals that address the needs of BTH

What does this role involve?

As Veterinary Behaviourist you’ll:

• Work with the Community Clinical Animal Behaviour and post-adoption support teams in devising the optimal behaviour rehabilitation strategy for dogs in their care while liaising with external veterinary practices as required to support the work of clinical teams.
• Support and advise staff across Dogs Trust on matters relating to psychoactive medication and links between disease, physiology and behavioural signs, under the direction of the Head of Clinical Behaviour Services.
• Provide behaviour consultations to owned dogs with behaviour problems especially those with a medical component that requires specialist input.
• Assist with staff training through workshops, clinical case reviews, mentorship and conferences.

About you:

With a good knowledge of dog behaviour, training and welfare you will have a veterinary qualification with postgraduate experience as a veterinary surgeon.
