As a Community Fundraiser you will:

About the role

As PA & Events Assistant you will:

• Manage diaries and inboxes for Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members, scheduling meetings, appointments, and ensuring timely responses to correspondence.

• Coordinate travel arrangements, prepare meeting agendas, and take minutes as required.

• Oversee general organisational inboxes (e.g., info@), ensuring prompt and appropriate responses or delegations.

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to join our ambitious team who will focus on supporting the charity’s leadership and providing governance support. You will play a vital role in supporting the Chief Executive on a day to day basis, helping her to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and to work as effectively as possible. You will also work with the wider team to ensure the efficient running of the organisation.

You will be responsible for ensuring our governance arrangements work smoothly and in line with our governing documents, by assisting the Chair and Vice Chairs, scheduling and supporting Board and Committee meetings, and arranging our Annual General Meeting. You will also have the chance to get to know our network of 38 member charities, who support rural communities in every county in England, arranging meetings and events to bring them together to share knowledge and best practice.

About You

You will be an experienced executive assistant who is also familiar with governance administration in a not for profit organisation. You will be a confident communicator who is skilled at managing multiple tasks to deadline and has an eye for detail. You will be happy working remotely but also enjoy being part of a team and having the chance to build relationships with other organisations. You will have direct experience of living in a rural community or have a strong empathy with our cause.

This role is a great opportunity to play a central role in a small but ambitious organisation and to be part of a unique national network.  It would particularly suit someone who wishes to work remotely and prefers the flexibility of shorter working days. We are looking for a Digital Platforms Executive to manage our App, CRM system and website among others. Reporting directly to our CEO, you will play a crucial role in helping us enhance user engagement, streamline our digital communications, and maximise the impact of our online presence.

We are a small, dynamic team, so there is also plenty of scope to get involved with other things and gain an insight into all areas of the charity, with opportunities for growth and development.

About the role

As Digital Platform Executive you will:

• Drive user acquisition and retention strategies for our App (sidekick by Suicide&Co). 

• Collaborate with developers to implement new features based on user feedback and engagement metrics.

• Monitor performance and user analytics to inform continuous improvement.

• Develop and manage in-app communication strategies, including push notifications and updates, to enhance user engagement.

• Coordinate with content creators to ensure timely and relevant messaging within the App.

• Oversee the in-app customer support system, ensuring prompt and effective responses to user inquiries and issues.

• Implement feedback mechanisms to gather user insights and improve App functionality.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimise the use of our CRM system (HubSpot) for client, donor and stakeholder engagement.

• Ensure data integrity and security and provide training to staff on CRM functionalities on new processes or underutilised tools.

• Analyse CRM data to inform improvements to client experience and improve donor stewardship. 

• Maintain and update our website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with branding guidelines.

• Optimise website performance, user experience, and accessibility across devices.

• Implement SEO best practices to increase organic traffic and visibility.

• Launch and manage our Google Ads Grant account, creating and optimising campaigns to maximize reach and impact.

• Monitor ad performance, adjust strategies as needed, and ensure compliance with Google's grant policies.

About you

Our Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST)  groups are where group members who are living with dementia and other cognitive impairments can participate in meaningful and stimulating activities, proven to help maintain memory and mental function. The groups provide a fun, supportive environment where people can build new relationships. MCST Activities include discussions, word games, quizzes, physical activities and creative and musical activities.

Our monthly Memory Cafés offers a relaxed, informal setting for people with dementia and their family, friends and carers to get together. The Memory Cafés provides a mixture of talks, information and advice, entertainment and activities

• Lead the delivery of our dementia groups including MCST sessions and our Dementia cafes, with support from volunteers.

What the job involves

We have an opportunity for a Senior Strategic Communications (Campaigns) Officer to join our Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team. You’ll work closely with the Strategic Communications (Campaigns) Manager to successfully plan and deliver major strategic campaigns and key brand moments, taking the lead on day-to-day project management to keep everything coordinated and running smoothly.

As a Senior Strategic Communications (Campaigns) Officer you’ll take responsibility for developing content for allocated big-ticket campaigns and brand moments, ensuring all content is consistent with our brand and tone of voice. The campaigns you’ll be working on will revolve around our brand, high value fundraising and priority campaigns seeking to drive change. You’ll develop content marketing strategies that will tell stories to reach our key audiences. Our current campaigns focus on reaching more men so they can make informed choices about their prostate cancer risk, while also working to reduce health inequalities and better engage Black men, a community disproportionately affected by prostate cancer.

Collaboration is a big part of this role.  Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll help shape high-impact content marketing strategies and integrate key messages across the organisation. You’ll also support the development of creative content for key partnerships and campaigns, ensuring content aligns with our brand and campaign objectives.

We’re looking for someone who’s experienced in supporting strategy and delivering major campaigns and brand moments that make a real difference and help us connect with new audiences. You’ll have a solid understanding of current communications practices and a keen eye on emerging trends, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
