This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Tech and Economic Consultant Lead. You will provide specialist support and safety-planning around technology-facilitated abuse and economic abuse in two ways: directly to women and their children, and to frontline services, supporting survivors via referrals through their key workers, increasing the safety of women, children and the services themselves. You will work closely with key workers and survivors of domestic abuse and other forms of gender-based violence and their children, from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support.

This post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Support the account management of corporate partnerships, delivering first class stewardship, increasing engagement and supporting delivery for maximum potential for Variety
● Research business leads to feed the corporate pipeline and new business approaches, identifying prospects
● Keep partnership account plans up to date including fundraising, communications, finance and impact reporting, ensuring we meet key deadlines
● Send fundraising materials to supporters and corporate partners to enhance staff fundraising and engagement
● Attend Varity fundraising and awareness events, maximizing engagement opportunities for corporate partners and building relationships with supporters, while working closely with the services and communications team
● Managing a portfolio of smaller partnerships, giving great stewardship and ensuring donations and fundraising come in as planned
● Support budgeting of income from partners and reforecasting income
● Support administration in fundraising including sending out materials, replying to general enquiries, creating proposals and invoicing partners
● Participate in staff meetings, fundraising team meetings and contribute to the success of Variety’s fundraising strategy

Charity People are thrilled to be recruiting for a large and prestigious organisation to help strategically drive their fundraising, particularly philanthropy. The is a critical role in the organisation to ensure that philanthropic income is implemented in line with donor expectations and ensuring any obligations are stipulated in gift and grant agreements. The Philanthropy Implementation Manager will play an active role in developing and delivering gift implementation improvement projects, acting as a pivotal person between fundraising and finance teams across the organisation. The role is key to ensure that fundraisers are securing gifts in line with departmental policies. The role will also have a particular focus on programme management, ensuring that gifts are advertised and implemented.

The successful postholder will quickly build strategic relationships with key internal stakeholders that will support the work of Fundraising and Supporter Development team, supporting fundraisers working in Major Gifts, whilst not directly involved in the work, you will be able to provide advice and guidance to staff working within these income streams, as well as work with the Business Support Officer to support the management of securing philanthropic gifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with fundraisers and colleagues in the Supporter Operations and Donor Relations teams, to ensure that philanthropic gifts are correctly implemented in line with the donor's expectations and the terms of their gift agreements.
• Work with key internal stakeholders to ensure the funding is used correctly and pledge payments are fulfilled.
• Design complex gift implementation strategies.
• Develop and monitor systems that ensure fundraiser compliance with policies and procedures relating to the implementation of donations. This will also include supporting the Philanthropy Team in monitoring gifts in stewardship, highlighting any gifts requiring re-solicitation.
• Use relationship management techniques to ensure that the relevant stakeholders are notified of any changes or delays to gift implementation. For example, capital builds, recruitment of key posts, progress in research projects.
• Support the Philanthropy Team and wider Directorate in managing business processes, developing processes, and review of key gift documentation, that will support future implementation of philanthropic donations.

You will bring:

• Ability to work independently and to prioritise work effectively and accurately within a regular schedule of tight deadlines
• Experience of designing and implementing new policies or procedures
• Experience of donation administration
• Ability to quickly build effective working relationships
• Excellent communication skills, both in writing and in person

We are recruiting for an innovative, values-driven leader to join Mary’s Meals International (MMI), as Director of Partnerships.  Reporting to our Chief Growth Officer (CGO), you will be responsible for developing and supporting global strategic funding relationships to ensure the long-term financial sustainability and growth of our movement.

As Director of Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of a strategy that ensures a reliable and diverse funding stream to radically grow the movement and the number of children we can consequently feed. 

 You will:

•  Develop and oversee the implementation of a global fundraising strategy that fits in with our overall Growth strategic plan, to maximise income growth through a range of philanthropic funding sources.
• Work closely with the CGO and the CEO to identify and advance funding priorities and relationship opportunities, at times supporting the key relationships and at times being the lead on a key relationship.
• Work collaboratively with the Mary’s Meals International Programmes team on opportunities for government and institutional funding.
• Build relationships with the National Affiliate Executive Directors to ensure that global relationships are well defined.
• Lead the Partnerships team who are focused on increasing support from trusts, foundations, corporations, governments and major individual donors.

About you:

With a strong background in growing income streams, you will bring a proven track record in securing multi-year funding at the level of six figures+. You will have experience raising funds from a diverse range of fundraising streams including major donors, institutional funders, foundations, multi-lateral funders and corporations. You will have strong understanding and experience of how donors make decisions to ensure maximum fundraising success. Experience within a non-profit organisation that is international would be very beneficial.

At Yorkshire Cancer Community, our vision is for everyone affected by cancer to have the best support possible. We are a patient-led charity, with a dedicated team of volunteers and staff who are passionate about helping anyone affected by cancer.

Working in partnership with West Yorkshire & Harrogate Cancer Alliance (WYHCA), we aim to help reduce cancer rates through our Cancer SMART project, which raises awareness of the signs and symptoms of cancer, so people are better informed, attend screening and know where to go for help.

Our Patient VIEW project is dedicated to representing the voices of patients, carers and service users, ensuring they are central to decision-making processes within cancer care.

We provide impartial and independent information and listen to those affected by cancer to ensure that they are supported.  We signpost to other charities and support groups, share information, recruit for research studies and share stories via our monthly newsletter.

As manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring we reach our goals, by building relationships with other charities, organisations and diverse groups, recruiting volunteers, working with our board of trustees, working in partnership with the WYHCA, and line management of our two staff members  – Patient VIEW coordinator (FT) and administrator (PT).

Key Tasks

1. To engage, manage and supervise Cancer Champions for the delivery of the Cancer SMART  programme with collaboration between Yorkshire Cancer Community and West Yorkshire and Harrogate Cancer Alliance.

2. To build relationships with charities, organisations and diverse groups where we can take Cancer SMART talks and information stalls.

3. To identify, develop and liaise with local individuals and support groups to encourage engagement and involvement within their own cancer communities.  The aim is to provide a channel for patient participation to influence cancer service development and improvement.

4. To administer and oversee the collation and sharing of information relative to the objectives of YCC by using the appropriate means of communication. This will include social media, the website, calendar of events, effective use of YCC data sources and the newsletter.

5. To work with the Board of Trustees to support the governance of the charity which will include the preparation and management of trustee meetings, contribute towards Business planning and unding strategies.

6. To provide supportive supervision to the Administrator and Patient View Coordinator

The Trust Administrator is responsible for maintaining the core administrative functions of the Trust to ensure the smooth operation of the charity, enabling its mission to ensure healthy rivers for wildlife and people. Reporting directly to the Finance and Resource Manager, the Trust Administrator will work with a range of internal and external contacts to ensure routine business functions, human and physical resources, supporter liaison are working well. The role will involve working closely with a range of suppliers, stakeholders and the Estate from which the office is leased.

The National Lottery Community Fund is seeking a Senior Government Relationship Manager to lead our relationships with governments across the UK as part of our newly restructured communications function. Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a consistent approach to government relations across the UK, maintaining systems and processes for ensuring effective delivery
• Lead our sponsor relationship with DCMS and build relationships and connections with relevant departments, managing and co-ordinating responses to departmental requirements and identifying opportunities to demonstrate our value.
• Provide strategic horizon scanning and expert policy analysis, disseminating information and advice to senior leaders
• Coordinate the Fund's interactions with governments across the UK
• Develop engagement plans for ministers and senior officials
• Create high-quality briefing materials for senior leadership for meetings with government ministers and senior officials, attending meetings as appropriate
• Lead on policy positioning papers on key issues
• Support Communications colleagues to ensure country and regional government relations are aligned

Location: We have a hybrid approach to working. Work pattern and location will be agreed with the successful candidate. The role can be based at any of our UK offices: Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Newcastle and Newtown.

The post holder will lead the development and implementation of the organisations high impact, effective marketing and communications campaigns.
