About the Role:
Based in the office, you will be the first point of contact for many children, young people and their families seeking counselling services. You will provide crucial administrative support to our team of counsellors and will work closely with the Operations Manager to create and synchronise processes for tracking clinical and non-clinical outcomes to help to evaluate and improve the performance of the charity. You will work with the Fundraising and Partnerships team to research, plan and execute effective community engagement work which will help the charity to further its mission and vision, and communicate this to more stakeholders. About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the MHA Fundraising department as the Legacy & Individual Giving Assistant.

Norfolk Wildlife Trust are seeking a Supporter Care Assistant to provide administrative support and customer service in the Trust’s membership and supporter care team.
We are seeking a well organised, self-motivated individual to provide administrative support and customer service in the Trust's membership and supporter care team for 21 hours a week, with days to include Mondays and Tuesdays, based at the Trust's Norwich HQ.
The successful candidate will have administrative experience, IT skills across Microsoft Office packages, and the ability to communicate effectively with members and supporters by telephone and email. Experience of using a CRM database will be an advantage.
The Supporter Care Assistant will be line-managed by the Membership Services & Data Manager, and form part of a job share with the existing 2 days per week postholder. The role also receives supervision and support from other roles in the team, and will work with volunteers.

Ruils is a user-led charity based in the Richmond borough that supports disabled children and adults and the elderly to live independently, be part of their community and to live life to the full. We provide information, advice, advocacy, befriending and activities to our clients and their families.
As part of this mission, we deliver accessible and inclusive community group activities and volunteer-based services for disabled residents. Our ambition is to enrich people’s lives, help with their mental health challenges and reduce their isolation and loneliness. We have broadened our community remit to also identify, advise and support residents living with health inequalities in the Borough of Richmond as an NHS Southwest London Integrated Care Board Core20Plus5 Partner.
The localities of focus will be Whitton/Heathfield, Hampton North, Barnes North, Mortlake and Ham & Petersham. These localities are also where Ruils has lower levels of volunteer engagement and consequently community service provision.
Purpose of Post
- Working with the Community and Volunteer Manager to deliver our Community Independent Living Services (CILS). The role entails supporting Ruils’ Group Activities, Befriending, Active from Home Walks, as well as the recruitment and management of Ruils Volunteers.
- Working with the Community and Volunteer Manager, to manage our Core20Plus5 initiative to target resident engagement with community organisations in areas where this is identified as being low.
- To establish the reasons for this and draw up a plan for improved local engagement by driving volunteer recruitment and delivering increased befriending and Active from Home client matches, new group activities, and establishing a trusted reach-out path for the currently dis-engaged residents at our Health and Wellbeing events.
- To provide input to Health and Wellbeing events organised by the Health in your Hands team in areas of focus.
Key Duties
- Support with the recruitment, matching, on-boarding, training and management of Ruils Volunteers in particular areas of focus and across the charity when required.

- Evaluate what new group activities will meet local resident wellbeing needs and propose plan for delivery.
- Support the delivery of Ruils Health & Wellbeing Events in key areas of focus including contacting local residents to promote the events.
- Identify, reach out and establish ongoing relationships with like-minded organisations to attend their health and wellbeing events in the targeted localities. As a community connector, outreach should also identity individual influencers in these areas in order to utilise their knowledge, insight and influence with the challenges faced by local residents.
- The goal is to establish a trust and confidence to maximise our engagement with local residents.
- Other duties as deemed appropriate relating to the community services, or Ruils services generally.

As Business Administration & Finance Officer (BAFO) you will be responsible for the smooth running of the administration of the charity. Working closely with the finance team, HR team, regional managers and the senior management team and the post holder will have communication with all members of Envision employees. The Operations Volunteering Experience Coordinator helps people with sight loss live the life they choose by ensuring volunteers in Operations-based roles are set up for success by preparing and training them for their role. Once in their role, they will support a positive volunteering experience by working to retain, further utilize and develop our volunteers in their role and wider into the Guide Dog family and community. Without our volunteers, none of our services would be possible.
We currently have 2 roles available one would work across the two teams in Sheffield & Notthingham; and the other to work across the two teams in Atherton & Liverpool. A typical fortnight would include days working from the office, days in the community, and some home working. The role holder will manage the time and location of their working days.
For this role, you’ll work 35 hours per week, 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Please be aware that this role may include some travel covering your region and work outside of your usual 9-5 working hours.

About the Role
Your objective for the first 12 months in post will be to have:
- Supported the Youth Zone to achieve 1,000 visits by young people a week by ensuring volunteers play a key role in service delivery.
- Collaborated with the delivery and operational team to ensure volunteer opportunities are identified.
- Put in place a robust volunteer recruitment pathway.
- Created a ‘culture of volunteering’ and ensured the critical role of volunteer is understood and valued across the whole organisation.
- Supported each member of the operation and delivery team to line manager between 2-4 volunteers each, providing between 6 and 30 hours of volunteering a week.
- Put in place a reward and recognition scheme that celebrates volunteers’ successes.
The charity is in the process of securing temporary office space in the Preston area, ahead of construction on the new Youth Zone being completed (expected summer 2025). In the first two months of this role, you will also spend time on placement at another North-West based Youth Zone.
