We're looking for values-led, content-minded database-loving, marketplace enthusiast to join us at We Are In Beta as our School Service Provider Directory Manager.
Your role will be to build, manage and promote a community driven database of school service providers and organisations members of our 18,000+ community recommend to each other.

Your role will be to design, build, grow and promote a database of organisations, who offer products and services to schools, which have been recommended to by our members.

What experience do you have?

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the MHA Fundraising department as the Legacy & Individual Giving Assistant.
Reporting to the Legacy & Individual Giving Manager, you will be a key member of the Fundraising team at MHA. It is a wide-ranging role that will be crucial in making sure that the team meets their aim of increasing income from individuals and securing future income from gifts in Wills.
Your strong administration skills will enable you to assist the team in the delivery of the legacy and individual giving programmes, providing the high-quality administrative support that underpins all of the activities that are implemented. This will include providing excellent supporter care through all communication channels and being the first point of contact for related fundraising enquiries. This is not solely an administration role though. You will have opportunities to develop your marketing and fundraising skills through your involvement in a variety of activities, such as, appeals and campaigns, digital marketing, events, supporter care and internal communications.
There will also be opportunities to work on ad-hoc projects, collaborate with the wider Fundraising team as well as other departments across the charity.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference and play a vital role within the Fundraising team at MHA. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the individual giving programme in line with the wider strategic objectives.

As the Breck Foundation's new Project Coordinator (Pan Sussex), with the support of the CEO, you will lead the initial project set up, the recruitment of schools and young people, followed by all training and coordination of the delivery.
The post holder will need to be based in Sussex, required to work from home permanently but willing and able to easily travel regularly to various locations across East and West Sussex, occasionally farther as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role, to deliver aspects of the programme and to engage with other stakeholders and colleagues.
Breck Foundation
Breck Foundation is a unique and dynamic organisation that makes a real difference. The charity was founded in 2014 in memory of Breck Bednar, a 14-year-old boy who was groomed and murdered by someone he met online. We inform, educate and campaign to help young people and the wider UK public reclaim the internet from those who seek to harm others through it. Our educational programmes reach thousands of students, parents and safeguarding professionals each year.
The Project
Over the last few years, the Breck Foundation worked closely with Volunteer Police Cadet Units in Surrey and Tower Hamlets to train cadets as ‘Breck Ambassadors’, equipping them with the training needed to talk in schools to their peers about staying safe online and the key signs of grooming.
We are proud to take this successful project further having secured funding with the Office of Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner (OSPCC) to recruit and train up to 30 ‘Youth Ambassadors’ (for online safety) in schools across Sussex. The Youth Ambassadors will learn how to tell Breck’s story and empower young people with the tools they need to stay safe online. Working closely with schools to enable the students to become Online Safety Ambassadors for their school community, advocate for their peers and to be a voice of expertise and counsel. You will work with schools and community groups to generate impact through Breck’s story (on online grooming) and other important topics related to children’s online safety.
This flagship project for the OSPCC will launch in April 2025 (Coordinator starts in January 2025) and run for at least 12 months, with potential funding up to three years. We hope it will set a precedent for others to follow our lead and develop similar programmes for young people across the UK.

The Role
You will be at the heart of the theatre’s mission, ensuring that financial practices not only meet but exceed industry standards.
You will work closely with the Executive and Senior Management team, providing strategic financial guidance to both the Executive and the Board of Trustees. Your expertise will ensure the theatre meets its financial and governance obligations while directly impacting exciting and diverse activities.
About You
You will be a qualified or soon to be Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) and hold membership of and be accountable to a professional body with evidence of ongoing CPD.
You will have experience of:
- Taking responsibility for the financial running of an organisation with a similar turnover, preferably within the arts or charitable sector.
- Statutory reporting
- Setting/ managing significant budgets and working within financial parameters.
- Supporting and developing the financial skills of senior managers
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with Executive teams and Boards.
- Managing and improving administrative, people and financial processes
- Staff line management including appraisals, training/ development needs and managing issues
- Knowledge of charity accounting and SORP, Theatre Tax Relief and employment law would be beneficial.

Head of Development and Income
We are looking for a highly skilled leader with exceptional capabilities in income generation, writing, budgeting, people management and strategic planning.
This is a full-time, remote working role.
Position: Head of Development/Income Generation
Location: Remote
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £49,727, depending on experience plus 5% pension
Contract: Permanent

The Role
We are seeking a Head of Development who will drive the development strategy to deliver a broad and expanded income scale, including corporate sector, trusts, foundations, government, and limited individual donors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Income Generation and Business Development
- Writing and Budgeting
- Leadership
About You
With a proven track record in income generation and business development, you will have exceptional writing skills for bid and proposal development.
You will have strong numerical skills and experience in budget creation and management and excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
With the ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and various teams, you will be a strategic thinker with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset and have experience in leading and managing high-performing teams.

We’re looking for someone who is:
- An experienced leader – proven dynamic leadership in humanitarian or international development, adept at steering organisations through change and fostering inclusive cultures.
- Experienced in the humanitarian sector – deep understanding of the international humanitarian system, policy drivers, and mechanisms for driving change through research and innovation.
- Able to create impactful partnerships and coalitions, emphasising collaborative and equitable relationships.
- Experienced with a proven track record in business development with demonstrated success in diversifying funding sources and securing long-term partnerships.
- Experienced in shaping organisational culture and aligning structures and systems with strategic goals with clear and transparent decision making.
- A strategic thinker and problem-solver, with skills in advocacy and convening.
