About the role:
This role is based at Accrington working in a multi agency team at Lancashire House. As a MARRAC Team Leader you will:
- Ensure the effective delivery of the MARRAC process, hosting daily discussions with dedicated partners to support the initial assessment process
- Ensure consistent service delivery by allocating & monitoring work across the team, prioritising according to risk
- Work alongside the police safeguarding teams to deliver Operation Provide
- Chair MARRAC meetings, facilitating the sharing of sensitive information securely to deliver robust outcomes for victims
- Complete case management audits & produce reports
- Be responsible for safeguarding quality assurance & compliance, providing guidance on safeguarding issues
- Line manage a team including recruitment, training & coaching, performance management
You will need:
- Managment experience for a team delivering front line support
- An IDVA Safelives qualification or equivalent
- An understadning of domestic abuse & it's impact
- Knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning & risk management
- To understand Safeguarding issues & the legal responsibilities surrounding these
- Theoretical, practical & procedural knowledge of civil & criminal justice remedies
- The ability to work with partner agencies
- Good organisational skills & the ability to prioritise effectively
- Strong crisis management skills, able to deal with stressful & difficult situations
- Good communication, negotiation & advisory skills, both written & verbal
- IT skills, able to use Microsoft Office & Case Management systems
- A driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement due to the location & requirement for travel

About the role:
One role is based at Kings College Hospital the second role is based at Princess Royal University Hospital. As a Hospital Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
- implement effective ways of working with male victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm
- provide a high-quality, front-line service to male victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
- initiate, develop, maintain and monitor multi-agency links through procedures and protocols to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse
- specialise and be leading practitioner for Male victims of domestic abuse; providing advice, guidance and single point of contact for a male victims
You will need:
- Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
- Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children

About the role:
This role is home-based with egular travel to our office in Plymouth & throughout Devon and Cornwall. As a Domestic Abuse Caseworker you will:

The North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU) tackles serious organised crime across the North West region. The NWROCU carries out investigations into serious and organised crime on behalf of police forces in Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and North Wales. The lead force for NWROCU is Merseyside Police, with the Assistant Chief Constable of NWROCU reporting into Chief Constable Serena Kennedy.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Business Partner as a fully qualified accountant to provide pro-active professionally qualified support and guidance to budget holders for the financial management of the ROCU. This is an amazing opportunity to work for a regional unit, building close relationships across 6 Regional Forces, Home Office and the ROCU Network. Job Description
As a Senior Finance Business Partner you will provide pro-active professionally qualified support and guidance to budget holders for the financial management of the ROCU. Principal Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with budget holders and senior managers, ensuring that needs of the budget holder are fully satisfied, and SLA's adhered to.
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting upon the financial position of units to relevant stakeholders using appropriate means of communication and methods of financial analysis to ensure an effective and efficient budget management service is provided. This will include attendance at key SLT/Command Team meetings as the finance expert.
- Provision of professional challenge, support and advice to budget holders over a wider range of subjects, with a clear focus on obtaining best value, and best use of resources for the Force. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
- Review and monitor expenditure on supplies and services; and produce recommendations for improved efficiencies where appropriate for effective financial management of the NWROCU budget.

- Maintain the asset register and capital accounting records ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Provide technical input in the development of budget monitoring to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and to meet specific requirements of the NWROCU.
- Complete statutory returns and grant claims; prepare appropriate working papers to ensure the maintenance of financial accounts.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will:
- Be a Fully qualified CCAB Accountant.
- Have experience of working within a large and complex financial environment; with specific knowledge and experience of fulfilling a budget management role.

About the role:
This role is based at Accrington. Once your probation period is completed you will be eligible to apply for hybrid working. As a Domestic Abuse Caseworker, you will be:
- Focusing on victims of domestic abuse, providing a pro-active, short to medium term crisis intervention service
- Supporting victims face to face & over the telephone
- Developing individual safety plans to meet client's needs as identified in the needs & risk assessment
- Providing advocacy, emotional & practical support and information to victims including legal & civil options, housing, health & finance and support through the criminal justice system.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings acting as the voice of the client
You will need to:
- Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
- Understand Safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues
- Have theoretical, practical and procedural knowledge of civil and criminal justice remedies for victims of domestic abuse and their children
- Experience of working within a multi-agency and legislative framework
- Experience of managing a complex caseload, to prioritise work and deal with competing demands demonstrating an organised and methodical approach to work
- Have strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations
- Have excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals
- Demonstrate the ability to use IT applications competently including, Microsoft Word, Excel etc. and Case Management systems in order to keep accurate records and monitoring your performance.
- This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement.

About the Role:
As a Group Work Practitioner, you will be delivering a range of group work courses and programmes to adults affected by crime in the Thames Valley. You will be required to manage your own caseload and work in collaboration with other service delivery staff within the Thames Valley Adult Victims Service.
The Thames Valley Adult Victims Service will provide emotional and practical support to adult victims of any crime. Support will primarily be delivered through specialist group work provision, alongside online and telephone support.
You will be confident in co facilitating the delivery of group work programmes to people with a range of different needs and will have strong empathy skills. You will need to be able to talk to groups of people and will be resilient and confident with supporting others, as well as happy to work as part of a team.
You will need to have the ability to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner. Have an understanding and knowledge of, and an active commitment to promoting equal opportunities and diversity. Knowledge of confidentiality and safe working practice in accordance with safeguarding legislation, General Data Protection Regulation and other legal requirements.

About the role:
The main purpose of this role is to provide quality support to children and young people who are victims and survivors of sexual violence. You will be responsible for completing comprehensive initial needs and risk assessments, developing and delivering personalised safety and support plans for clients, many of whom have additional vulnerabilities and have complex needs.
You will need to be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with the Police, statutory and voluntary agencies to deliver the best possible outcomes within a multi-agency setting. As well as being tenacious in support of your clients and adept at problem solving.
To be successful in this role you will need to be approachable, flexible and caring, demonstrating empathy at all times. You will have had lengthy experience of direct service delivery (casework) with people with complex needs (ideally with children) and will have a good understanding of the impact of sexual violence offences on victims and survivors and of safeguarding issues. You will also have an excellent understanding of and commitment to the promotion of equal opportunities and diversity.
IT literacy is a must and candidates must evidence both the ability to use bespoke packages and excellence in their recording practice.
If you do not possess an ISVA accreditation, we will fund this learning as it essential for the role. The role also requires enhanced DBS and police vetting. This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement.
